Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral BigDate

Carl F. Bucherer’s new Manero Peripheral BigDate is the Lucerne-based Swiss watch manufacturer’s second launch of the year to feature its signature innovation. This classic wristwatch is equipped with the caliber CFB A2011, an automatic mechanical movement with a peripheral rotor.

The Manero Peripheral BigDate was created for women and men who will appreciate the eye-catching dial distinguished by its contrasting small-seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The effect is complemented by a power reserve indicator at three o’clock, a day-of-the-week aperture at 9 o’clock, and, finally, the feature that gives the watch its name: the big date window at 10 o’clock.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral BigDate

The Manero Peripheral BigDate comes in a 41.6 mm stainless steel case. Both sides of its domed sapphire crystal have an anti-reflective coating, which enhances the watch’s readability. The sapphire crystal case back offers a clear view of the CFB A2011 caliber, the in-house mechanical movement that powers the new timepiece.

The Manero Peripheral BigDate has been interpreted in two distinct versions. One has a light blue dial with a contrasting small-seconds subdial and power reserve indication in beige, followed by a big date and day-of-the-week aperture in the same color.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral BigDate

The other one features a dark gray dial with a contrasting olive-green small-seconds subdial and power reserve indication, followed by a big date and day-of-the-week aperture in the same color. Each dial option is presented on either a textile strap matching the subdial or on a robust stainless steel bracelet.

The Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral BigDate has a power reserve of 55 hours and is water-resistant to 3 bar (30 m).

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback Green

The Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback is a great timepiece dedicated to urban adventurers. The newest member of the family, the Manero Flyback Green, is inspired by the nature and boasts an olive green dial.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback Green

Since it was first introduced in 2017, the Manero Flyback has proven to be one of the brand’s most popular timepieces around the world. Like the other timepieces in the collection, the new version features one chronograph counter, a small-seconds subdial, and a date display in addition to the perforated lancet-shaped hour and minute hands.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback Green

The design of the dial, which is enclosed by a 43 mm stainless steel case with vintage-inspired mushroom pushers, is rounded out by a tachymeter scale.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback Green

The contemporary timepiece features a chronograph with a flyback function, which means that the user can skip the steps of stopping and restarting the chronograph hand and instead reset the time measurement directly while the chronograph hand jumps to zero and the time measurement starts again. As the complication’s name suggests, the hand will “fly back” to the zero position.

The 43 mm stainless steel case has a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides along with a sapphire crystal caseback that reveals a clear view of the CFB 1970 automatic movement offering a power reserve of 42 hours.

The Swiss prestige watch brand Carl F. Bucherer and the global luxury retailer Bucherer share more than a name. Both trace their roots back to 1888, when Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened his first watch and jewelry shop in Lucerne.

Over the years, the watch brand and the retailer have evolved separately, but they are both proud members of the Bucherer Group under owner and Chairman of the Board Jörg G. Bucherer, who represents the third generation of the Bucherer family.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition

The Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition watch celebrates the opening New York City’s Bucherer 1888 TimeMachine boutique.

The Carl F. Bucherer boutique offers a carefully curated selection of some of the brand’s most beloved timepieces, including the Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition. It has a 41 mm stainless steel case and a luxurious black leather strap. Its striking dial features graduated shades of blue with blue subdials with chronograph minute and small seconds counters. The dial is ringed by a blue tachymeter scale.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition

The dial is completed by a month aperture at the 4:30 position and a big date window just below 12 o’clock. It has been created in an edition whose total size is 188 pieces, a reference to the fact that founder Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened his first watch and jewelry shop in Lucerne in 1888.

Thirty of those 188 watches feature a case back crystal with an engraved silhouette of the New York City skyline, a homage to the fact that the first Tourneau store in New York was opened in 1930.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition

Like all the timepieces in Carl F. Bucherer’s Heritage collection, this Heritage BiCompax Annual Bucherer BLUE Limited Edition recalls some of the brand’s classic timepieces from one of watchmaking’s great eras, but the mechanical movement at the heart of the watch is a contemporary masterpiece.

The CFB Caliber 1972 automatic chronograph has a power reserve of 42 hours. Its innovative annual calendar complication considers different month lengths – 30 and 31 days – so the date only has to be corrected once a year, on March 1.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Maldives

The Patravi ScubaTec Maldives dive watch celebrates Carl F. Bucherer’s long-standing partnership with the Manta Trust. The newest member of the Patravi ScubaTec family, the Maldives watch, was created to raise awareness of the Manta Trust and its remarkable commitment to preserving endangered manta rays and the ecosystems and habitat they need to survive.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Maldives

The Patravi ScubaTec Maldives is the fourth watch Carl F. Bucherer has launched in partnership with the Manta Trust since 2017. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of each model was donated to the foundation, and a contribution from the sale of the Patravi ScubaTec Maldives is specifically dedicated to the Manta Trust’s new floating research station project. The Patravi ScubaTec watches are an essential part of Carl F. Bucherer’s Sport & Adventure brand world and reflect an important part of its DNA.

The Patravi ScubaTec Maldives has a striking 44.6 mm stainless-steel case and a unidirectional rotating stainless-steel bezel with blue and white ceramic inlays. A bold 60-minute scale with luminous markings makes it easy to calculate elapsed time underwater – a real benefit for serious divers. The bright blue dial with lacquered wave decoration is as eye-catching on land as it is in the water.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Maldives

The color of the non-slip bezel perfectly matches the color of the bright blue, finely textured dial, whose indexes and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, which makes the watch particularly easy to read in all lighting conditions.

This stunning dive watch is presented on a unique blue strap made of natural rubber; its fabric insert is made of 100% recycled bottles recovered from the Mediterranean Sea, underscoring Carl F. Bucherer’s love of the sea and its creatures.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Maldives

The strap is fitted with a finely adjustable diving folding clasp that extends the length of the bracelet so that it will close comfortably around a diving suit. The Patravi ScubaTec Maldives is also available with an optional stainless-steel bracelet, also with a diving folding clasp. Like the strap, the bracelet features a fine adjustment function, which means that it can be extended to precisely the length the wearer desires.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Maldives

With its screw-down crown, automatic helium valve, and exceptional water resistance to 500 m (50 bar) it was designed for any underwater adventures that might come its way. Inside the case beats the automatic caliber CFB 1950.1, a COSC-certified chronometer with a power reserve of 38 hours.

A charitable contribution for each Patravi ScubaTec Maldives sold will support a remarkable new Manta Trust initiative: the creation of a floating research station in the Maldives. The Maldivian reef manta population is the largest – and one of the most intensively studied – manta ray populations in the world.

Most existing research bases are centralized, limiting the extent to which members of the Manta Trust’s team can travel and the area they can survey daily. The floating research station, a vessel secured with the help of funding from Carl F. Bucherer, will provide an opportunity for new discoveries in parts of the Maldives that have so far been inaccessible with the existing centralized stations. A team of trained, knowledgeable manta experts will be able to conduct in-depth research.

A non-profit organization, the Manta Trust was founded in 2011 by passionate marine biologist Guy Stevens. Its mission is clear: it is dedicated to the worldwide conservation of manta rays and their habitats through research, education, and collaboration. For a decade, they have been raising awareness of these remarkable creatures and providing education not only to the general public, but also to community stakeholders.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

Premiered during Watches and Wonders 2021, the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony is the most extraordinary timepiece Carl F. Bucherer has created in a long and impressive history that can be traced back to 1888.

The COSC-certified chronometer takes peripheral technology to places no watch brand has ever been before, with three peripheral movement elements – the rotor, the regulator, and a remarkable tourbillon that appears to float freely – developed in-house and patented by Carl F. Bucherer.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

Not only does the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony´s MR3000 manufacture movement have a peripheral winding system and a peripherally suspended floating tourbillon, it also features a minute repeater with a peripherally mounted regulator.

This regulator, along with the peripheral winding system and the floating tourbillon, are patented by Carl F. Bucherer, and, together, these peripheral innovations combine to create a true horological symphony – a composition which, in fact, inspired the renowned Lucerne Festival Orchestra to honor it with a brilliant new opus.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

The peripheral technology premiered with the peripheral rotor, patented by the brand in 2008, when this in-house manufactured caliber became the first movement ever to implement this principle successfully in series production.

Not only does the bidirectional automatic winding movement draw its energy from a peripherally rotating oscillating weight, its slim rotor also reveals the beauty of the movement. With the T3000 movement, which premiered in 2018, the manufacturer further extended its lead in peripheral technology when peripheral winding was combined with a groundbreaking Carl. F. Bucherer–patented transparent peripherally mounted tourbillon that appears to float.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

As the heart of the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony, the elaborately finished and COSC-certified MR3000 manufacture movement with a power reserve of 65 hours has ushered in an exciting new era of peripheral technology.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

The Manero Minute Repeater Symphony takes the classic minute repeater technique and puts this innovation to use in true Carl F. Bucherer style. Its mechanism is finely orchestrated to produce two different tones on two gongs which, along with the sculpted hammers, can be admired, most unusually, through cut-outs at the edge of the dial.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

They are complemented by openings at 5 and 7 o’clock, through which the work of the striking hammers can be observed. A window above 6 o’clock showcases the watch’s innovative regulator, which sets the beat of the chimes. This patented regulator is mounted peripherally via three low-friction ceramic ball bearings.

However, the minute repeater from Carl F. Bucherer scores not only with outstanding technology, but also with genuine functionality. A protective mechanism built into the movement prevents inadvertent misuse: visible via the discrete display at 9 o’clock, it indicates the current mode of the watch – a blue dot shows that the crown is pulled out, and a musical note lets the wearer know that the minute repeater function is activated.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

Another safety measure further ensures the protection of the watch: the crown cannot be pulled out when the repeater mechanism is running – it locks. Conversely, when the crown is pulled out, the repeater mechanism is locked.

The tourbillon – the classic complication originally designed by Abraham-Louis Breguet in the eighteenth century to offset the effects of gravity on the accuracy of the watch – is another sublime expression of the art and craft of watchmaking. And the watchmakers at Carl F. Bucherer have made this epitome of their craft float: the cage of their minute tourbillon is supported peripherally – and invisibly to the observer – by three ball bearings.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

These frictionless ceramic ball bearings ensure stability and precise guidance. It is another ingenious technical feature on which Carl F. Bucherer also holds a patent. The tourbillon in the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony, which is proudly and prominently displayed at 12 o’clock, not only “floats”, but also stops on command: thanks to the stop-seconds function, the rotating cage is locked when the crown is pulled, allowing the time to be set to the second.

The Manero Minute Repeater Symphony has a 43.8 mm diameter case of 18-karat rose gold. Its open-worked and hand-angled lugs seductively follow the silhouette of the wrist.

These spoke-shaped horns reduce the mass of the case and thus amplify the watch’s melodious sound. The 18-karat white gold dial is hand-galvanized and features a fine grainé texture. 18-karat rose gold hands and hour markers reflect the warm hue of the case.

Connoisseurs of sophisticated watchmaking will appreciate the elaborate finishing: the carefully diamond-beveled and highly polished chamfers, the sandblasted crown, the hand-angled dial edges and windows, or the Geneva-striped, angled, and diamond-beveled bridges that can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

The individual numbering of the model, limited to 88 pieces, is engraved by hand on a small plaque in 18-karat gold at the 6 o’clock position on the dial. The watch is presented on a hand-stitched alligator leather strap whose every individual scale has been finished by hand. It is secured with an 18-karat rose gold folding clasp.

For those who wish to accentuate the unique character of this limited-edition masterpiece to create their very own symphony, Carl F. Bucherer offers further customization options. There are opportunities for the customer to choose from different designs and finishes, creating a personilsed timepiece.

Inside the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony´s luxury box is a stunning, specially designed resonator that will allow proud owners of this remarkable watch to share its unique music with their friends. The ingenious amplification system is meticulously crafted from spruce harvested from the forests in Switzerland’s Jura Mountains.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Minute Repeater Symphony

This spruce has long been regarded for its qualities as a tone wood and has been used for the tops of some of the world’s finest guitars, violins, and other stringed instruments. This unusual amplification system doubles the volume of the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony minute repetitions, making it easy to let others enjoy the phenomenon.

Not only do the celebrated Lucerne Festival Orchestra and Carl F. Bucherer share a hometown, but also a rich history and the common pursuit of excellence. Through the Manero Minute Repeater Symphony, these two prominent Lucerne natives have now found each other: inspired by the unmistakable sound of the minute repeater, the young Swedish composer Lisa Streich wrote the piece “PERIPHERY”, commissioned by Lucerne Festival. In addition to the watch’s unique striking mechanism, its three peripheral elements also play an important role in this intriguing musical composition.

Lisa Streich’s inspired piece takes core elements of the watch’s design and gives them voice for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. The Manero Minute Repeater Symphony is distinguished by its minute repeater and triple peripheral technology, so these components are represented musically by an imaginative combination of instruments and techniques. For example, the repeater function’s extremely mobile beat generator – its peripherally-mounted regulator – is reproduced by the striking and stroking of a triangle positioned vertically on a timpani.

The sounds of a violin bow drawn against the length the strings, breathing noises from the wind instruments, and the quirky drone of an instrument called a buzzing bow combine to express the complexity of the peripheral rotor. The floating tourbillon and its delicate cage find their counterpart in the brass section, whose players tap the bells of their horns with a pencil, triggering the wiping motion among the strings.

In doing so, the trumpet stimulates a response from the higher strings, and the trombone the lower ones; the exquisite choreography of the hands is recreated with a distinctive tick, tock, tick, tock.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Limited Edition, New Model with Reversed Panda Dial

Equipped with an elegant chronograph and annual calendar, the Heritage BiCompax Annual by Carl F. Bucherer is a highly functional and utterly precise timepiece that celebrates the design and savoir faire of the early 1950s, harmoniously merging vintage charm with “Made of Lucerne” watchmaking art.

Now, two years after the original debut in 2019, the Lucerne-based watchmaker introduces a new contrasting version of its popular Heritage BiCompax Annual. Limited to only 888 pieces, this new version from the Heritage collection has a deep-black dial with silver-colored totalizators.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Limited Edition, New Model with Reversed Panda Dial

The Heritage collection is an ode to Carl F. Bucherer’s rich history and its roots in Lucerne, in the heart of Switzerland. In this exclusive line of timepieces that are only manufactured in limited editions, unique design and traditional craftsmanship meet sophisticated complications and the finest materials. The launch of the Heritage Tourbillon Double Peripheral in rose gold in New York in 2018 was the kick start for the Heritage collection.

In 2019, Carl F. Bucherer introduced the Heritage BiCompax Annual watch in two versions: an elegant bi-colour variant (rose gold + stainless steel) and a sporty model in stainless steel with the “panda design.”

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Limited Edition, New Model with Reversed Panda Dial

Again, an archival piece dating back to circa 1950 served as inspiration for the Heritage BiCompax. The elegant chronograph combines the vintage flair of the watch that inspired it with contemporary features, such as a 41 mm stainless-steel case. The new edition of course also features the BiCompax dial design of its retro predecessor: two symmetrically arranged silver-colored chronograph counters are positioned on the horizontal central axis on the deep-black galvanized dial, framed by a tachymeter scale.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Limited Edition, New Model with Reversed Panda Dial

Thereby, the new edition of the Heritage BiCompax reverses the color concept of the first stainless-steel model, which featured a white dial and black totalizators, also referred to as the “panda design,” making the new timepiece a so-called “reversed panda.”

The black calfskin leather strap with silver-colored stitching perfectly complements the design of the dial. The new timepiece is also available on a sporty and comfortable rubber strap. The new Heritage BiCompax Annual is again limited to 888 pieces, as a nod to Carl F. Bucherer’s founding year of 1888.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage BiCompax Annual Limited Edition, New Model with Reversed Panda Dial

The Heritage BiCompax Annual is powered by an ultramodern automatic movement (The CFB 1972 caliber) with 42 hours of power reserve. The new version also features an annual calendar and a large date display that takes the different month lengths – 28, 30, and 31 days – into account, which means it would only need to be corrected during a leap year.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

This new timepiece from Carl F. Bucherer’s Adamavi line combines a practical full calendar with arguably the most charismatic complication in watchmaking: the moon phase. The new model is available in two superb versions, either with a leather strap or metal bracelet.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The 39 mm stainless steel case houses a black or silver dial. The vertical satin finish of the dial and slender bar indices in a warm gold tone give this dress watch a modern, understated look. This is also reflected in the clear, user-friendly structure of the calendar.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

A ring of Arabic numerals milled into the center of the dial, along which a distinctive black or white hand moves, shows the date to the viewer, while windows at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock indicate the day of the week and the month. An exceptional striking feature is the stylish moon phase at 6 o’clock, on which a golden moon moves across a starry night sky.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The new timepiece is optionally available with a sporty and elegant metal bracelet with stainless steel folding clasp or alternatively with an alligator leather strap in black or midnight blue.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The Adamavi FullCalendar watch is both practical and easy to read. It is easy to individually set the three displays – including the date, day of the week and month – using the three correctors embedded in the case. The moon phase display at 6 o’clock can also be easily set using a corrector located at 8 o’clock.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Full Calendar

The Adamavi FullCalendar houses the rugged CFB 1966 automatic movement, which keeps the watch and its features running precisely for 42 long hours without external influence.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

Carl F. Bucherer expands its classic Adamavi collection by adding six new, modern styled Adamavi AutoDate models boasting an understated, elegant style.

The three models with 39 mm and 31 mm diameters are enclosed in sophisticated stainless steel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Long, slim hands and stick indices guarantee absolute clarity. A vertical satin finish lends the colored dials – in elegant nude, blue, or dark gray – a modern look and feel.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

The interplay of various textures and shapes is a leitmotif that runs through the latest additions to the otherwise traditional product line: the polished sections of the circular case contrast harmoniously with the finely woven Milanese bracelet. The two different case sizes ensure that the new models are not only the perfect fit for any wrist, but also make them ideal as pair watches.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

The mechanical workings of the Adamavi AutoDate combine the modern design of the timepieces with Carl F. Bucherer’s long-standing tradition of watchmaking.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

The models with a 39 mm diameter feature a CFB 1950 caliber automatic movement, while the 31 mm diameter models are built with a CFB 1963 caliber automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. Both calibers reliably and precisely power the hours, minutes, seconds, and the date display at 3 o’clock. The delicate mechanism is securely protected: the watches are water-resistant up to 3 bar (30 meters).

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

The patented folding clasp, which Carl. F Bucherer offers on all of its Adamavi models with a Milanese bracelet, is as exact as it is innovative. What makes the closure so special is the flap that is attached to the clasp. It uses grooved indents to securely fasten the watch onto the wearer’s wrist, making it easy to adjust the length of the bracelet without it slipping through the clasp.

Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi AutoDate New Models (39mm & 31mm)

All models in the Adamavi collection are characterized by timeless, minimalist elegance and reliable mechanics. The new colored additions to the collection are joining a classic version with a silver dial, also available with a 31 mm or 39 mm diameter, as well as various models with gold or silver accents, date display, or small seconds.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec Color Edition Four Seasons

Carl F. Bucherer expands its Patravi Traveltec watch family by adding the Color Edition Four Seasons.

The Patravi TravelTec Color Edition Four Seasons by Carl F. Bucherer celebrates the beauty of “Spring”, “Summer”, “Autumn”, and “Winter”. The ingenious COSC-certified chronograph, first introduced in 2006, has now been enhanced with four intense new colors.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Traveltec Color Edition Four Seasons

With the “Spring” (green), “Summer” (yellow), “Autumn” (orange), and “Winter” (blue) variants, the Lucerne-based manufacturer offers modern cosmopolitans perfect companions for a stylish journey through the year.

A distinctive and ultra-robust stainless-steel case of 46.6 mm frames the colorful and bright dial, which features two chronograph counters, a small-seconds subdial, a date display, and central hour and minute hands. A visual delight is provided by the date indication under an effective loupe – the figures are milled out of the date ring and remain invisible until they appear over a white background in the date window. The four new models come on radiant rubber straps that match the unique colors of the dials.

Bucherer realized by integrating part of the time zone mechanism into the case of the watch. This was a true innovation in the industry when it was first introduced in 2006, and it has since been patented.

This fascinating process can even be observed through a window that has been cut into the side of the case. Those who enter another time zone and thus need to adjust their local time can do so very conveniently by moving the wedge-shaped hour hand forward or backward an hour at a time.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

Carl F. Bucherer expands its Heritage collection with a new white gold Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral watch.

The exclusive Heritage collection by Carl F. Bucherer was introduced in 2018 with the Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral in rose gold. This year, the Lucerne based luxury watch manufacture presents a white gold Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral watch in a limited run of 88 timepieces.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

The dial side of the new Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral is gracefully restrained. The focus of attention is the tourbillon, which appears to be floating. The delicate, peripherally mounted tourbillon draws all eyes to its position at 12 o’clock.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

It is embedded in a silver dial featuring a sunburst finish and milled rings decorating its edge, paired with appliquéd diamond-shaped indices, all of which is built into a case with long, slender lugs and a convex box crystal. These retro design elements, inspired by various historical references from the 1960s and 1970s, give this elegant timepiece subtle vintage charm.

The sapphire crystal back of the 42.5 mm white gold case reveals the magnificent 18-karat white gold movement bridge.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

This covers the entire back of the movement, with the exception of the tourbillon. Decorated with an elaborate engraving of a city view of Lucerne, it is an ode to Carl F. Bucherer’s home. At the center of the intricate engraving is the Chapel Bridge, the landmark of the city.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

A swan floating on the water is reminiscent of Schwanenplatz, the place where Carl F. Bucherer opened his first watch and jewelry business in 1888. The position of the swan differs on each of the 88 timepieces.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

At the heart of the Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral, you will find the in-house CFB T3000 caliber, in which both the tourbillon and automatic winding system are peripherally mounted, a technology perfected by Carl F. Bucherer and protected by patents.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral White Gold Limited Edition

The watch is driven by a bidirectional automatic winding mechanism with a peripherally turning rotor in 22-karat rhodium-plated rose gold. State-of-the-art silicon technology also gives the pallet and escape wheel anti-magnetic resistance, and the Swiss Chronometer Institute (COSC), a renowned chronometer testing center, confirms the outstanding precision of this exceptional caliber with an individual certificate.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Collection

Carl F. Bucherer’s Heritage collection is dedicated to the legacy of the Lucerne manufacturer, with outstanding timepieces that pay tribute to the savoir-faire of over 130 years of watchmaking art “Made of Lucerne”. It is not only an ode to its home city in the heart of Switzerland but above all to the multifaceted tradition of the manufacturer.

In addition to the two versions of the Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral in rose gold and white gold, an elegant chronograph in the form of the Heritage BiCompax Annual has also been added to the constantly growing Heritage collection. In this exclusive line of timepieces that are only manufactured in limited editions, unique design and traditional craftsmanship meet sophisticated complications and the finest materials.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi Scubatec Black

With water-resistance to 50 bar (500 m) and certified chronometer precision, Carl F. Bucherer’s latest diver’s watch is ready for any adventure – above or underwater, during outdoor action, and in everyday life. The successful Black Manta Special Edition inspired the striking design of the new Patravi ScubaTec Black, which will be available starting in April 2020.

The new Patravi ScubaTec Black features impressive resilience, excellent technology, and outstanding functionality. Its ultra-light 44.6 mm titanium case has a matte black DLC coating, as does the unidirectional rotating bezel. The bezel is also equipped with scratch-resistant ceramic, a 60-minute scale, and luminous markers. The black, finely structured dial is adorned with black indices with an ample coating of SuperLumiNova.

Their luminescent blue gives the wearer the time of day even in the dark. The hour, minute, and second hands also have this tried-and-true luminous coating. They are accompanied by a date window at 3 o’clock.

The new version’s striking design is not the only thing inspired by the Black Manta Special Edition. This model also matches the Special Edition’s sustainability in every way. The ScubaTec Black Manta Special Edition is dedicated to protecting the oceans and to the brand’s partnership with the Manta Trust charitable organization.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Black with strap from recycled plastic (PPR/Carl F. Bucherer)

The watchmaker has been cooperating with the Manta Trust for many years to help conserve manta rays and their habitats. The idea of sustainability, which Carl F. Bucherer actively supports, is also expressed in the new version. A black rubber strap with fabric made of 100% recycled plastic bottles removed from the ocean rounds out the sporty, elegant look. A second version of this model with a striking black rubber strap is also available.

With its screw-down crown and automatic helium release valve, it is ideal for underwater adventures – as evidenced by its water-resistance to 50 bar (500 m). It is reliably powered by the CFB 1950.1 caliber automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. Its extraordinary precision has been officially confirmed by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) independent Swiss chronometer testing institute. Each watch is accompanied by an individual COSC certificate.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Tourbillon DoublePeripheral New Models (In Yellow, Rose or White Gold)

While the variation in yellow gold has a classic retro style with a silver-colored dial and a brown alligator-leather strap, the white-gold version features modern contrasts with a dark gray dial, black strap and rose-gold-colored indices and hands. A model made of rose gold rounds out the trilogy. The warm brown shade of the dial and strap emphasizes the elegant yet striking style of this extraordinary variation.

All three watches are available in an exclusive collector’s set or separately. They are the result of elaborate craftsmanship and have COSC-certified chronometer status due to their great precision. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the front and back ensures a clear view of the exquisite beauty of the dial and T3000 manufacture caliber.

The pursuit of excellence and innovation drives the Carl F. Bucherer team to outstanding achievements time and time again. The Manero Tourbillon DoublePeripheral prominently showcases two of Carl F. Bucherer’s technical milestones at once: the peripheral automatic winding system and the patented peripherally mounted tourbillon – united in the T3000 manufacture caliber at the heart of this masterpiece.

Manero Tourbillon DoublePeripheral, Rose Gold Model with Brown Dial

Back in 2008, Carl F. Bucherer presented the A1000 caliber, the world’s first movement that allowed successful series production of a peripheral automatic winding system. The A2000, which is a COSC-certified chronometer and was first used in the Manero Peripheral, added a new facet at the height of technology and craftsmanship to the long-standing Lucerne company’s manufacture movements.

With its peripheral tourbillon, Carl F. Bucherer ushered in another new era in peripheral technology. The watchmakers at Carl F. Bucherer seem to have gotten the classic complication to appear as if it is floating: the tourbillon cage is supported peripherally –invisible to observers – by three ceramic ball bearings that ensure stability and precise guidance. It is a uniquely sophisticated and advanced design patented by Carl F. Bucherer.

Starting now, the luxurious trio will be rounding out the Manero Tourbillon DoublePeripheral premiere model in the classic rose-gold case with a silver-colored dial. However, the Manero models are not the only timepieces in the Carl F. Bucherer collection to benefit from double the peripheral power.

In the Heritage collection, another exceptional timepiece has an elegant, charming retro take on the technology: the limited-edition Heritage Tourbillon DoublePeripheral from 2018 is a tribute to 130 years of Carl F. Bucherer’s savoir-faire. Its elaborately engraved movement bridge is an ode to the birthplace of “Made of Lucerne” watchmaking heritage that is both artistic and luxurious.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Autodate Love (In Partnership with Brand Ambassador Li Bingbing)

The Manero AutoDate LOVE is a joint creation by Carl F. Bucherer and the global Brand Ambassador Li Bingbing, a popular Chinese actress. The LOVE comes in nine elegant variations featuring bold colors, graceful details, the finest quality materials, and high quality Swiss automatic movements. The ladies’ watch collection, which was inspired by Li Bingbing’s charitable foundation L.O.V.E. Responsible Life, is dedicated to the multifaceted modern woman.

Li Bingbing has made a name for herself as an actress both in Asia and in Hollywood. What’s more, she has been serving as a global Brand Ambassador for Carl F. Bucherer and its values since 2016.

Now the Swiss watchmaker has teamed up with the movie star to create a collection that highlights another aspect of her character: her charitable activities. Li Bingbing has been working with international organizations to support good causes – fighting poverty, protecting endangered species, and advocating for the environment – since 2003. This led her to start L.O.V.E. Responsible Life in 2009, which acts as an umbrella organization for her numerous charitable projects.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Autodate Love (In Partnership with Brand Ambassador Li Bingbing)

The Manero AutoDate LOVE takes its name from the foundation and features its emblem on the dial: a leaf that symbolizes environmental protection and a plea for more humane values. The motif is delicately integrated into the small-seconds subdial and lends each timepiece a unique grace.

The array of colors and materials in the Manero AutoDate LOVE family represents the multifaceted nature of the modern woman. From bold and expressive to elegant and subdued, each of the nine different models in this collection cuts an ultra-feminine figure on the wrist.

Three of the pieces feature a love-inspired color scheme: vibrant red dials adorned with a fine sprinkling of gold dust – an unusual finishing that gives a warm, luxurious glow, reflecting the light with every movement.

Carl F. Bucherer Manero Autodate Love (In Partnership with Brand Ambassador Li Bingbing)

The magnificent dial is framed by a case in either elegant rose gold or, in the refined two-tone version, by a case in 18 k rose gold and stainless steel, while a red Louisiana alligator-leather strap or a stainless steel and rose gold bracelet finish off the pieces with a harmonious flair. The crowning piece among this trio features a solid rose gold case and a bezel encrusted with 62 diamonds. Vibrant red combines with the luster of gold and brightly sparkling accents in a fabulously luxurious and infinitely feminine timepiece.

The three LOVE models with a petrol blue dial strike a completely different tone with their combination of warm and cool hues: powerful, fascinating, and mystical. This trio comes in a choice of a two-tone case or a case in pure stainless steel. The intense color of the dials is a true head turner and is complemented by an alligator-leather strap in a matching color.

The final three pieces in the collection hit a timeless and elegant note with their white mother-of-pearl dials, stainless steel cases, and choice of a purple alligator-leather strap or sporty steel bracelet. One member of the trio is even adorned with 62 diamonds.

All nine models feature a feminine and contemporary 35.5-millimeter case diameter along with a delicate leaf motif adorning the small-seconds subdial.

These elegant ladies’ timepieces are powered by Swiss automatic movements for the ultimate in precision. The CFB 1971 caliber boasts 42 hours of power reserve and acts as a reliable engine for the hour, minute, as well as the small seconds at 6 o’clock, and the date display at 3 o’clock. The sapphire crystal case back allows the wearer to admire the fine finishing and precise motions of the movement within.

Sixty-two brilliant diamonds sparkle in keeping with the stainless-steel bezel like stars on the firmament.
