The latest edition of the ArtyA Purity Tourbillon series has undergone a total redesign of its spectacular exclusive manufactured double-barrel flying tourbillon.
Following the complete reworking of the entire movement, this high complication piece from ArtyA is now available with a 39 mm case. This mechanism was created in partnership with Franck Orny and his team of La Chaux-de-Fonds based high horology specialist Télôs Watch SA.
To create the Tiny Purity Tourbillon watch, the case diameter has been reduced from 46mm to 39mm. To make watch compact in size, the hour and minutes dial has been moved to 3 o’clock with a fully skeletonized display.
Visible through the transparent sapphire glass dial, the mechanical tourbillon movement incorporates double barrel system. Positioned in parallel, both mainspring barrels keep their original size to maintain an exceptional power reserve of 72 hours.
Despite this drastic reduction in the size of the case, the tourbillon cage remains unchanged to further impose its 17 mm diameter, 44% of the total volume of the piece. It now benefits from a traditional adjustment with a fixed stud that replaces the entire raquetterie.
Positioned at 9 o’clock, the tourbillon cage has been entirely hand-beveled with exceptional finishing. It has a high beating rate of 4Hz. The other modifications include the new Incabloc and balance with inertia block.
The ArtyA Tiny Purity Tourbillon watch is available with a monotone sapphire or bi-colour NanoSapphire case.

The Son of Earth collection by ArtyA is well known for offering collectors a piece of life and nature at the very heart of its timepieces. The inaugural series of the new ArtyA Son-of-Earth Dome watch features pieces of art as well as Mother Nature’s first creation, real pieces of rock. The rarest and most noble rocks will be featured in this collection.
For the new series, ArtyA has designed a new curved case with a sapphire crystal dome that ensures unobstructed view of the artistic dial. Its large opening and its globe effect give the impression of contemplating a celestial body. The pure and modern design magnifies the colors and the relief of the natural dial.
This new design was created by Jérémie Arpa, the son of Yvan Arpa, the founder of ArtyA.
ArtyA Earth Dome, Son-of-Earth Collection
The first piece is none other than the “Earth Dome”. Crysocholla was chosen to represent the blue planet. This stone, reputed to protect against negative energies and bring inner peace, corresponds perfectly to the values advocated by the Geneva brand.
The wearer will feel the energy spread by this rock and will be able to contemplate it from all angles.
ArtyA Mars Dome, Son-of-Earth Collection
The second one is a limited edition art piece linked to Mars. It is a unique, innovative and proprietary process that uses a dome-shaped mould and a special press to shape this dial.
After manual engraving and galvanic treatment, it takes almost 10 hours of manual colouring to bring this dial to life. This makes it possible to have a rendering so close to the surface of the red planet.

The third and final piece in this first edition is the only one with a dome case with black DLC treatment.
The contrast created with the colours of the dial brings out the heart of this timepiece, the Crysocholla. This blue crystal has been honoured for a second time because of its positive benefits and energy.

The Black Purity Tourbillon is a new member of the ArtyA Complications collection. The ArtyA Purity Tourbillon Chiaroscuro model features a black PVD steel case and a spectacular exclusive manufactured double barrel flying tourbillon with rose gold treated bridges.
The ArtyA Purity Tourbillon Chiaroscuro was developed in collaboration with Franck Orny of Télôs Watch SA and his team. It displays a technical inventiveness that combines a maverick style with visual clarity. A beautifully balanced architectural ensemble, the manually wound caliber features an over-sized flying tourbillon with a diameter of 17 mm which is at least 50% larger than most existing tourbillons.
Since the ArtyA Purity tourbillon beats at a rate of 4 HZ, extraordinary accuracy and greater stability are achieved through a much higher frequency than many other high-end Swiss tourbillons (usually 2 or 3HZ).
It has a power-reserve of 70 hours, thanks to two barrels connected in parallel. Two central hands display the central hour and minute functions while the indication of the seconds is elegantly displayed on the flying tourbillon that rotates 360 degrees in 60 seconds.
Mounting the barrels in parallel reduces the thickness of the spring for more stable torque. But also improves the delta of the barrel spring curve, with an ideal ratio between power reserve, performance and regularity.
ArtyA has chosen to manufacture this timepiece with a free-sprung balance with variable inertia. This innovative balance wheel guarantees greater reliability when subjected to shocks and during movement assembly or disassembly, hence better chronometric results over time.
Each part of the movement is delicately beveled and polished by hand for an extreme skeletonizing. The skeletonised bridges were subjected to intensive and complete validation tests to optimize their resistance capacities. They are also treated in rose gold treatment.

After years of research and development, Swiss luxury watch brand ArtyA presents sapphire cases that are entirely two-tone in the mass. The ArtyA NanoSapphire Bicolor watches are available in 39, 41 and 46 mm case versions. This innovative world first is available in several of the brand’s iconic collections.
To achieve this ArtyA has used a high temperature multi-component combination of two main oxides – SiO2 and Al2O3. These oxides are key components of most natural gemstones. A temperature of 1700°C (compared to 700°C for glass) is required to synthesize this material.
ArtyA was able to adapt this technology to create an extremely hard and difficult to machine homogeneous material specifically optimized for watchmaking and thus became since 2017 the first company in the world to use it in a watch case in addition to our pure sapphire collections.
NanoSapphire has an incredible hardness, 7 on the Mohs scale, which is much higher than glass (5 on the Mohs scale), this guarantees the durability of this beautiful material that plays with light.

The Lab-created synthetic sapphire case is incredibly scratch proof because of the remarkable hardness: 9 on the Moh’s scale (approximate 1800 Vickers). Sapphire is the third hardest mineral, after diamond and moissanite.
