DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

Unveiled at the Geneva Watch Days exhibition, the SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition is a modern interpretation of DOXA’s SUB 600T diving watch.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

First introduced in the ‘80s, the SUB 600T is one of the iconic DOXA dive models. Now, it is reborn in a brushed titanium case with ceramic bezel inlay bezel and comes with a dial colour in a shade of blue matched to the Pacific Ocean.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

The SUB 600T ‘pacific’ diving watch will be limited to 200 pieces. This series is released in collaboration with Time+Tide, DOXA’s partner in Australia.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

The ‘Pacific’ limited edition SUB 600T’s brushed titanium 40mm case is topped by a sapphire crystal. This professional grade diving watch has a water resistance up to 600 meters (60 bar, about 1970 feet).

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock and the patented unidirectional ceramic rotating bezel, with dive time in minutes and depth in feet, prepares for safe ascents without decompression stops.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

The dial in ‘Pacific Ocean blue’ is a first for DOXA, and it evokes that ultramarine shimmer of the waters around Australia, the home of Time+Tide.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

All dive-related indications have a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating, including the distinctive ‘shark’s tooth’ hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. This new watch comes with a tone-on-tone rubber strap to match the Pacific Blue dial.

DOXA SUB 600T ‘Pacific’ Limited Edition

This model also introduces a new type of clasp, a DOXA premiere: though it looks like a pin buckle, it is actually a folding buckle – here in brushed titanium – that allows for easy adjustment to the wearer’s wrist. The clasp sports the exclusive ‘DOXA Fish’ symbol.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

Christopher Ward’s best-selling C60 Trident line welcomes C60 #tide, a new timepiece created in partnership with the brand’s newest Swiss-based supply partner – #tide ocean material®. This is an important step from Christopher Ward to tackle the rising levels of ocean plastic.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

#tide upcycle ocean-bound plastic waste and convert it into a premium raw material produced as yarn which Christopher Ward have harnessed for a new #tide strap collection showcased on the impressive new C60 #tide. This #tide ocean raw material is also produced as granules (for plastic injection) which features on the C60 #tide’s deep-stamped, screw down caseback and the #tide symbol features on the crown.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

By training and paying fishermen to collect, sort, process and transport ocean-bound plastic, #tide’s work makes both ecological and social sense – helping to quell the rising tide of plastic waste entering our oceans and protecting the livelihoods of local fishermen and communities at threat from overfishing.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

Furthermore, Christopher Ward and #tide will together donate £5 from every #tide strap that’s sold – either on a watch, or individually – to the Blue Marine Foundation, to support their vital work in marine conservation.

Following the success of last year’s limited edition C60 BLUE, the C60 #tide and #tide strap collection were the next logical steps for the brand. In keeping with the rest of the C60 Trident range, the C60 #tide’s rugged good looks also have a distinctive elegance – its C60 316L steel case with flowing Light- catcherTM  lines looks just as good under a shirt cuff as it does with a rash vest – and it’s watertight to 600m.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

There are however some discreet but notable differences from the rest of the range; the organic wave pattern and use of Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1 gives the new C60 #tide’s sapphire dial a 3D look which glows in darkness but maintains a cool and discreet look in daylight – reminiscent of bio-luminescent algae. Like other Tridents it also has a fully-lumed ceramic bezel, which adds to the coruscating effect.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

The NEW C60 #tide houses the chronometer certified Sellita SW200 COSC, a self-winding movement known for its  accuracy and reliability. The deep-stamped 3D trident on the caseback – typical of the range – is also replaced here with a deep-stamped #tide mark and a second blue ring of #tide recycled ocean-bound plastic.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

The C60 #tide is available from £895 on a #tide strap or £1,000 on a bracelet. The #tide straps (in blue, black and orange) are available across the Christopher Ward collection.

Christopher Ward C60 #tide

A first in the luxury watch industry, Christopher Ward’s sustainable packaging, constructed from 95% bio-degradable materials and the brand’s commitment to environmentally responsible shipping, helps to reduce the carbon footprint of every single watch sold.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

The Seastar 2000 Professional is a new and technically advanced dive watch from Tissot.

Water-resistant to 2000 feet (60ATM/600 meters), this high-performance diving watch meets all the criteria of the ISO 6425 standard that governs dive watches. This chunky tool watch in stainless steel measures 46mm diameter and 16.25mm thickness. Dedicated to enthusiasts of extreme nautical style, it features a ceramic diving bezel and a very thick, bulging, domed sapphire glass with a bevelled contour.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

The Seastar 2000 Professional watch is equipped with a robust, precise and high-performance self-winding movement. The Powermatic 80 calibre has a power reserve of 80 hours. The Nivachron™ hair-fine spring of the movement is made of a titanium-based alloy, which is completely resistant to magnetism.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional diving watch 600 meters

This date is displayed in a metallic aperture at 6o’clock, in transfer form on a black background. It is in keeping with the rest of the watch, in particular its dial in shades of blue ranging from the darkest deep-sea blue, on a background pattern of waves designed especially for the Seastar 2000 Professional.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional watch

The case is of 316L-type steel, the most effective steel alloy for combating corrosion. Its flat surfaces are burnished and its vertical sides are satin-finished, including the shoulder that surrounds the crown and protects it from shocks.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

Underneath, the case back is of transparent sapphire, extremely rare for this degree of pressure resistance, which usually callsfor sturdy metal case backs. On it, Tissot has placed a transfer of a seahorse, symbol of its dive watches. And on top of this ensemble, Tissot has installed the indispensable dive bezel.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

Its bezel is made of steel, with a rim marked with deep notches. These are intended for improved grip, even with wet hands or with gloves, so as to ensure precise definition of the diver’s immersion time. The graduated 60-minute insert is made of black ceramic into which Arabic numerals are cut.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

This bezel turns only in an anti-clockwise direction. This means that any accidental adjustment can only shorten the dive time, not lengthen it, which would be dangerous for the diver.

Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional

The Seastar 2000 Professional has been designed for professional divers, who work at considerable depths and have to remain there in extreme conditions. For this type of use, the case is fitted with a helium valve at 9o’clock.

The US retail price of the Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional Powermatic 80 automatic watch with the blue gradient dial is $ 1025.00. The black dial version (reference T120.607.17.441.00) costs $ 995.00.

TITONI Seascoper 600

Swiss watch brand TITONI has announced the launch of Seascoper 600, a new generation of COSC-certified, professional diving watches.

TITONI cooperates with the well-known research diver and internationally famous marine biologist Uli Kunz, who shared his diving expertise for the development and roll-out of the new Seascoper 600. Uli Kunz, who is also an excellent photographer, had a key interest in unravelling the secrets of the oceans for many years.

TITONI Seascoper 600 diving watch

The first Seascoper was launched in 1963, at that time still under the name Felca, TITONI’s parent brand. This popular diving watch was waterproof to a depth of 200 metres. The appeal of this legendary 1960s Seascoper lay primarily in its practical design and the outstanding legibility of its dial.

TITONI Seascoper 600, Stainless steel model with Navy blue dial (Reference 83600 S-BE-255)

The latest model, the Seascoper 600, is a COSC-certified chronometer and houses TITONI’s very own T10 manufacture movement. This timepiece can withstand the extreme atmospheric pressures up to a depth of 600 metres. The watch has been developed specifically for professional divers and sets new standards in this field.

TITONI Seascoper 600 meter dive watch
TITONI Seascoper 600, Stainless steel model with Black dial (Reference 83600 S-BK-256)

The Seascoper 600 combines ruggedness with a sporty design. Its winding crown is fitted with a special gasket system to ensure the watch remains absolutely waterproof. The tough casing also guarantees that the high-quality, in-house T10 manufacture movement is protected against not only water but also pressure, impacts and dust.

The unidirectional ceramic bezel boasts a striking dive time scale. The outer edge of the bezel is toothed to make it easy to grasp when setting and adjusting the dive time. The triangular zero mark has a luminous dot so that the dive time can be read perfectly, even in dark and murky water. The indices, hours and hands are coated with luminous paint.

The Seascoper 600’s helium release valve, developed specially for professional divers, protects the device from being damaged when the diver surfaces from great depths.

Another striking design feature of the Seascoper 600 is the transparent back of its case. Shaped like a porthole and screwed into place, it offers a fascinating view of the T10 manufacture movement. The folding clasp, designed specifically for this model, is another eye-catcher. With a clever diver’s extension, it not only guarantees the highest wearing comfort and safety but also bears the quality seal of approval of every TITONI watch on its push-button, the plum blossom logo.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

British watch brand Christopher Ward has partnered with Blue Marine Foundation to launch a limited-edition dive watch that pays tribute to the charity on its 10th anniversary.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

The new C60 BLUE dive watch pays tribute to the ocean and the people protecting it for future generations. Designed in collaboration with Blue Marine Foundation – in celebration of the charity’s 10th anniversary – the NEW C60 BLUE has a mesmerising translucent sapphire dial that carries Blue Marine Foundation’s wave symbol and a watch strap made from reclaimed and recycled ocean plastic sourced by TIDE. All profits from this limited-edition watch go to the charity, so wearing it really does feel good in more ways than one.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

Joining Christopher Ward’s Trident range of dive watches, the NEW C60 BLUE is a limited edition watch of only 500 pieces, and the brand’s first to combine a sapphire dial with a non-scratch ceramic bezel. It is a perfect companion for customers wanting a watch that reflects their eco-credentials as well as those who simply love the colour and aesthetic of the sapphire dial.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

The C60 BLUE is water resistant to 600m which means it works as a professional diving instrument too.

Inspired entirely by the sea, the NEW C60 BLUE is the result of Christopher Ward’s affinity and appreciation for Blue Marine Foundation’s work. The charity, (also known as BLUE), is dedicated to restoring the health of the ocean by addressing over-fishing. In recognition of this, the NEW C60 BLUE’S sapphire dial carries a wave pattern inspired by BLUE’s logo, with a contrasting dark and light blue aesthetic symbolizing the clean water the charity is working to preserve.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

Christopher Ward’s support for BLUE began last year when the brand donated five percent of proceeds from the sale of a best-selling watch collection. Now, with the C60 BLUE, Christopher Ward aims to donate more than £200,000 towards its mission to see 30 percent of the world’s ocean under effective protection by 2030.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

The eco-credentials of the NEW C60 BLUE are further enhanced not only by its packaging, which is made from 95 percent bio-degradable materials – a first in the luxury watch market – there’s also the eco-friendly strap option created in partnership with TIDE made from reclaimed ocean plastic.

Christopher Ward C60 BLUE Limited Edition

The new C60 BLUE is available now from £895. Customers can also ‘buy now and pay later’ (on all orders over £500) with just one click – simply opt for a six or 12 month repayment plan with 0% interest using PayPal Credit.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone

British watchmaker Christopher Ward expands its best-selling Military Collection by adding the new C60 Lympstone watch model. Named after the Royal Marines’ Commando Training Centre at Lympstone in Devon, this new model from the brand’s Ministry of Defence licensed Military Collection in honour of the Royal Marines also marks the collection’s one-year anniversary.

This modern dive and survival watch is designed for action and adventure lovers (of both military and civilian status alike). The watch is forged from steel and carbon – built to withstand the toughest of conditions, on land or at sea. Water resistant to 600m, it is the first Christopher Ward watch to feature a rotating inner-compass bezel.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

In contrast to its best-selling Military Collection predecessors, the NEW C60 Lympstone’s defiantly modern design is based on the new ‘Trident 3’ C60 case – rather than the retro-styled C65 models.

Approved by the Ministry of Defence to carry the Royal Marines official insignia – which is laser-engraved into the caseback – the NEW C60 Lympstone was created in collaboration with the Royal Marine Commandos, to ensure a watch that their recruits would actually wear and use.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

Taking inspiration from tools and equipment used by the Royal Marines, the dial is made from forged carbon – an ultra-tough and ultra-light material (made from chopped carbon fibres and resin) that’s used in military weapons – while tough, breathable and lightweight Cordura®, often employed in military kit or equipment, is used here for the watch strap.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

As well as technical authenticity, the forged carbon also gives the dial a marbled and near-camouflaged look – with contrasting dark and light greys – contributing to the overall ‘stealth’ and tool-like feel of the watch.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

Powered by a COSC-certified version of the Sellita SW200 calibre, the NEW C60 Lympstone ensures timekeeping to within a tolerance of -4/+6 seconds per day. The outer countdown bezel delivers a satisfying 120 clicks per circuit, while the internal-compass bezel makes it just as practical on land, allowing its wearer to orientate themselves using the sun*.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

The marine-grade steel case features two crowns; one for rotating the compass and the other for winding the watch and hands. Its DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating ensures reflections – dangerous in combat – are kept to a minimum, while the Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1 filled indexes and hands ensure clarity in low light.

Christopher Ward C60 Lympstone Military dive watch

Despite its high-end construction the NEW C60 Lympstone in Carbon Black is available for £875 on a rubber hybrid strap in black or black and orange, a remarkable price for such an advanced watch.

In addition to the NEW C60 Lympstone, Christopher Ward’s Military Collection includes three other models – each honouring a service within the UK Armed Forces. The C65 Dartmouth, C65 Sandhurst and C65 Cranwell fly the flag for the military academies of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force respectively and each model carries their official insignia. Christopher Ward are one of just five brands approved to make watches bearing the official MOD insignia – available to both the UK Armed Forces and the general public.

*To use the compass, point the hour hand towards the sun’s position in the sky. Then, if you’re in the northern hemisphere, rotate the compass bezel using the crown until the S (South) is halfway between the hour hand and the 12 o’clock position. This can now be used to navigate around, ensuring the hour hand is pointing towards the sun. Simply adjust the S position as time goes on. (For the southern hemisphere, do the exact same but with N (North).

Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Professional Diver’s 600M (With Spring Drive Caliber 9RA5)

This year, the prestigious Japanese watch brand Grand Seiko is celebrating its 60th anniversary. To mark this occasion, the brand announced various special edition watch models. Also this year, Grand Seiko is introducing a new generation Spring Drive caliber.

In celebration of Grand Seiko’s 60th anniversary, Caliber 9RA5 is first presented in a professional diver’s watch.

Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Professional Diver’s 600M (With Spring Drive Caliber 9RA5)

Introduced in 1999, Spring Drive is one of horology’s greatest advances. It combines the best of both the existing two watch technologies (mechanical and electronic) in a watch powered by a mainspring that offered accuracy of one second a day. Now, two decades on, Grand Seiko introduces a new generation Spring Drive caliber that is slimmer, even more precise and has a greater power reserve. Caliber 9RA5 takes Spring Drive technology to a new level of excellence and opens a new era in the history of Grand Seiko.

In comparison to the 9R6 caliber that is the mainstay of the current collection, Caliber 9RA5 delivers a five-day power reserve, an increase of 60%. Its monthly precision rate has risen from ±15 seconds a month to ±10. The movement depth has been reduced from 5.8mm to 5.0mm and the speed of the date change has been greatly increased.

Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Professional Diver’s 600M (With Spring Drive Caliber 9RA5)

Caliber 9RA5’s thin profile is made possible by the re-design and re-positioning of the Magic Lever. Developed in-house in 1959, the Magic Lever boosts the efficiency of the automatic winding mechanism by using the energy created by movement of the oscillating weight in both directions. In the new caliber, the new Offset Magic Lever is positioned away from the center of the movement to reduce its thickness. Remarkably, this is achieved with no loss of winding efficiency. The stem and crown are also positioned towards the back of the case to lower the center of gravity and achieve a comfortable fit on the wrist.

Caliber 9RA5 may be slim but it has enhanced rigidity and shock resistance thanks to the new layout of the gear train towards the center of the movement and a central bridge that holds them together. This One-piece Center Bridge achieves a shock resistance that meets the ISO standard for diver’s watches.

The movement incorporates two barrels which deliver a power reserve of up to 120 hours. They are different sizes so as to deliver the torque required for the five day power reserve while optimizing the use of the limited space within the movement.

Caliber 9RA5 has an accuracy rate of ±10 seconds per month thanks to a new IC package and to the selection of highly stable quartz oscillators that have gone through a three-month aging process. For the first time in a Spring Drive movement, the IC incorporates a sensor to measure the temperature within the movement and is programmed to compensate for any inaccuracies in the crystal oscillation rate which may be caused by temperature change. The oscillator and sensor are vacuum-sealed into a single package to eliminate even the slightest temperature difference between the two and this shield also reduces the possible influence of humidity, static electricity or light interference and thus maintains the watch’s accuracy at the highest possible level.

As with every Spring Drive caliber, 9RA5’s seconds hand moves in perfect glide motion and, through it, expresses the natural and continuous flow of time that resonates so deeply with the Japanese sensibility. In its finishing, also, the movement has a beauty that is uniquely Japanese and is inspired by the natural environment of the studio where it is made. The jewels echo the glittering stars that sparkle especially brightly during the early days of winter in the surrounding mountains and the delicate texture of the movement’s surfaces reflect the frost that winter brings to the trees.

Grand Seiko 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Professional Diver’s 600M (With Spring Drive Caliber 9RA5)

To demonstrate its power, strength and precision, the first creation to be powered by Caliber 9RA5 is a professional diver’s watch. It has helium and water resistance that meet the challenge of saturation diving at depths of up to 600 meters. The case is in high-intensity titanium, which is 40% lighter than steel and more impervious to scratches. The power reserve is at the 10 o’clock position and the indicator is divided into five parts to show exactly and clearly how many days of power are left. The case, crystal and bezel are all designed for easy and safe disassembly for the maintenance that a professional diver demands.

The watch is presented in a special Grand Seiko 60th anniversary box with an interchangeable blue silicone strap. It will be available worldwide in August as a limited edition of 700.

Seiko Diver’s Watch 55th Anniversary Limited Editions

In 1965, Seiko created its first ever diver’s watch. This highly reliable automatic dive watch was rated for a water resistance up to 150m. It is also the first ever dive watch made in Japan. It was used by members of the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition from 1966 to 1969. In 2020, marking the 55th anniversary of this iconic creation, Seiko is introducing re-editions of three of the most important and historic divining watches from Seiko’s first decade as a maker of diver’s watches.

The Seiko Diver’s Watch 55th anniversary collection pays tribute to three legendary diver’s watches: 1968 Hi-beat Diver’s 300m, 1965 62MAS 150m, 1975 Professional Diver’s 600m. These re-editions are offered in the Prospex collection which is today synonymous with excellence in watches for use in all types of sports and challenging environments.

1968 Hi-beat Diver’s 300m, 1965 62MAS 150m, 1975 Professional Diver’s 600m
Inspiration: 1968 Hi-beat Diver’s 300m, 1965 62MAS 150m, 1975 Professional Diver’s 600m

Encouraged by the success of their first diver’s watch, Seiko’s engineers continued their development work to better meet the needs of the professional diver. In 1968, Seiko’s first diver’s watch with 300m water resistance and a 10-beat automatic movement was created. In 1975, Seiko produced a 600m diver’s watch featuring a titanium one-piece case and an outer case protector. It used a specially developed L-shaped gasket to make it impervious to helium without the need for an escape valve. It had an accordion-style strap that made the watch secure on the wrist whatever the ambient pressure. This unique watch changed forever the world’s expectation of what a diver’s watch could deliver and its unique construction and popularity led to it being given the name “Tuna” by watch fans across the world.

Seiko Diver’s Watch 55th Anniversary Limited Editions

While faithful to the original designs, all three watches are fully up to date in their specifications and execution. The greatest advance is in the grade of stainless steel used in the construction of the three watches. To be known as Seiko’s “Ever-Brilliant Steel,” thanks to the brilliant white hue that gives this trilogy of watches its unique look, this grade of steel is more corrosion resistant than that which is used in most high-end watches today. This stainless steel has a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) value 1.7 times higher than that of the grade of steel used in most high-end watches. PREN is a widely accepted standard used to measure corrosion resistance.

It is used for the first time in the watch industry for the cases of the 1965 and 1968 re-creations and the bezel of the 1975 re-creation whose case is, like the original, in titanium. This material is used extensively in the surfaces, linings, bolts and other components of marine structures and vessels so as to avoid corrosion in a chloride-rich environment such as sea water. It presents many challenges in the manufacture of watch cases but, thanks to the experience and innovative techniques of the Seiko team, these challenges were overcome and Ever-Brilliant Steel is now set to bring a new level of durability to the diver’s watch.

The 1965 and 1968 re-creations are powered by the high beat 8L55 movement and the 1975 re-creation carries Caliber 8L35, both developed and assembled expressly for diver’s watches at the Shizukuishi Watch Studio. All three have sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The 1975 re-creation has an increased anti-magnetic resistance of 40,000 a/m thanks to the dial made of pure iron.

All three re-creations share the same blue-gray dial that reflects the beauty of the sea but also hints at their ability to perform at depths which dim the intensity of the oceans’ blue. In particular, the subtle gradation of the dial color on the 1965 and 1968 re-creations dramatizes the way that light gradually fades as one dives deeper into the dark, mysterious world of the ocean.

The straps also pay homage to the originals while being modern in both the material used and their color. The rubber strap with a fabric-like texture of the 62MAS from 1965 is reproduced in silicone for greater strength and comfort. The strap on the 1968 re-creation is also in silicone and has the same pyramid pattern as its predecessor and the 1975 professional diver’s re-creation comes with the signature accordion-type strap.

All three watches will be made available as limited editions of 1,100 at Seiko boutiques and selected retailers worldwide. The 1965, 1968, and 1975 re-creations will be introduced in June, July, and August 2020 respectively.

A special commemorative box with all three re-creations with additional black straps will be available in May 2020. Just 100 sets will be released.

In addition to the limited edition trilogy, the 55th anniversary of Seiko’s first diver’s watch is also celebrated with an all-stainless steel modern re-interpretation. This new version is characterized by its slim profile and a lowered center of gravity that makes it comfortable to wear on even a smaller wrist. It features the same special 55th anniversary blue-gray dial as graces the trilogy and comes with both a stainless steel bracelet and a silicone strap. It is powered by Caliber 6R35 that delivers a power reserve of 70 hours. It will be available in a limited edition of 5,500 at Seiko boutiques and selected retailers worldwide from June 2020.

Christopher Ward Trident 3 Collection – The C60 Trident Pro 600, the C60 Trident GMT 600 and the C60 Trident Titanium Elite 1000

Redesigned and upgraded, the new Trident 3 collection celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Christopher Ward’s iconic Trident dive watch series. On 1st May 2019, Christopher Ward launched three all-new Trident 3s: the C60 Trident Pro 600, the C60 Trident GMT 600 and the C60 Trident Titanium Elite 1000. The new Trident 3 collection elevates the series through distinctive design, exceptional quality materials and keen detailing. The evolution from Mk 2 to Mk 3 is demonstrated in every detail of the new collection.

Special Features

Detailed and Distinctive Hands: The new Trident 3 collection features a bold and directional triangular hour hand, with hand-brushed and polished facets, created to within extremely small tolerances, to increase legibility in low light conditions.

New Sizes: The new C60 Trident Pro 600 will be available in 38mm and 42mm (slightly reduced in diameter from the Mk 2’s 43mm width) and will also debut a new 40mm size in its black dial, black bezel configuration.

Bezel Clicks: Trident 3’s enhanced quality can be felt and heard as well as seen. The CW Product Design team checked the action and ‘click’ of every dive watch bezel on the market and used their insights to work closely with the brand’s engineers and case manufacturer, ensuring that the Mk 3’s bezel would have a more satisfying, responsive click.

Polished Dial: Trident 3 uses a high contrast, smooth polished dial in place of the guilloche wave patterned dial of the Trident 2 series. A small but clever tweak, this improvement significantly enhances legibility.

‘Light-Catcher’ Case: The case for the Trident 3 collection has been completely transformed using Christopher Ward’s signature ‘light -catcher’ lines with multiple brushed and polished facets, creating a slimmer profile with clean sides that play on light.

Re-Engineered Crown: The internal threading of the crown has been enhanced so that winding and engaging Trident 3’s functions is delightfully smooth.

Quick-release steel bracelet: Trident 3 will be available on a redesigned fully-brushed stainless steel bracelet, which for the very first time features a quick-release mechanism first introduced on the brand’s range of leather straps.

Hybrid Strap: Trident 3 also sees the launch of a new Hybrid sport strap, crafted from fully waterproof Cordura® and premium FKM rubber.

Trident Emblem: The signature trident counterbalance and deep-stamped backplate have been updated with a newly-designed trident emblem, which is masculine and more aggressive looking than before. The Mk 3’s backplate has also been redesigned with a diving regulator-inspired opening mechanism.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600

The new C60 Trident Pro 600 is a direct update of Christopher Ward’s long-time best selling watch. Combining modern looks with the robust levels of build quality that’ll see it water resistant to depths of 600m, the new Pro 600 builds upon an already classic foundation by introducing a host of new features.

Now utilising the series’ new design, the Pro 600’s marine -grade stainless steel case protects a Swiss-made Sellita SW200 movement. As well as technical upgrades, the Pro 600’s dial has also undergone a facelift, with Christopher Ward’s twin flag logo at 12 o’clock.

To increase legibility, the guilloche dial of old has been replaced by a polished finish, while its indexes now use faceted and polished detailing.

The new C60 Trident Pro 600 will be available in 38mm and 42mm and will also debut a new 40mm size in its black dial, black bezel configuration.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT 600

A watch for divers and travellers alike, the new GMT shares many of the same features as the C60 Trident Pro 600, such as its water resistance to depths of 600m, and the ETA 2893-2 automatic movement allows its wearer to monitor the time in up to three zones at once when used in combination with the strikingly coloured GMT hand and 24-hour unidirectional full-lume bezel.

The predecessor to the new C60 Trident GMT 600 featured a hybrid bezel that incorporated both a countdown track for its first 15 minutes and 24-hour numerals for the remainder.

The new Trident 3 version dispenses with the countdown track, instead offering a full 24-hour GMT bezel, with numerals filled with Grade X1 GL C1 SuperLumiNova®.

Like the other timepieces in the Trident 3 series, the GMT also comes complete with Christopher Ward’s signature twin flag logo stamped onto the crown.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition

British luxury watch brand Christopher Ward presents a distinctive new timepiece to its iconic Bronze Collection: The C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition. The new watch, which is limited to just 300 pieces, features an artisan-finished brass dial that has been painted and then hand scratched – so no two are the same. The rough-hew finish fades into a black varnish around the dial’s exterior, linking smoothly with the colour and texture of the sandblasted ceramic bezel insert around it.

Bronze, once exposed to atmospheric moisture, develops a matte, corrosion-resistant patina and the patina of bronze is loved by watch collectors for its thrillingly personal visual effects, as the patination process gives each timepiece its own unique appearance.

The new C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition is available in two versions, one being ‘raw’, with the bronze unmarked and untouched, ready to develop its own unique patina on the owner’s wrist, and the other is pre-patinated, so the wearer won’t have to wait weeks or months to enjoy the full extent of bronze’s unique oxidising properties.

Powered by a chronometer-certified, Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, the C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition provides world-class accuracy and a 38-hour power reserve. Its 43mm case and unidirectional bezel are constructed from a premium bronze alloy, C5191, whose specific combination of copper, tin and phosphorous will begin life a brass-like colour before the patination process unveils an array of rich shades of brown.

As part of the Trident collection, the “Ombré” is also water-resistant to depths of 600m, with Christopher Ward’s signature trident motif present upon the second hand’s counterbalance and deep-stamped into its marine-grade stainless steel backplate.

Christopher Ward’s bronze collection includes the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 (available in 38mm and 43mm), the C60 Trident Bronze GMT 600 Limited Edition, and the C65 Trident Bronze SH21 Limited Edition.

One of only 300 pieces, the new C60 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition is priced at £995.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600

Christopher Ward launches their first bronze timepiece, the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600.

The first corrosion-resistant metal alloy known to man, bronze was a vital material to ancient warfare and sea faring however the material has only relatively recently been adopted by watchmakers. The first bronze watch cases were crafted as recently as the 1980s, with many watch brands experimenting with the material, particularly for divers’ watches.

Due to the complex manufacturing process which requires an extraordinary level of care and attention to prevent the oxidation process from materialising too soon, bronze watches of this quality have previously only been available from brands with an extravagant price tag attached. With their usual diligence, the brand has created a one-of-a-kind timepiece, which will be available at an accessible price point (RRP £795).

Since bronze alloys vary in formula, their coatings have varied effects; some age into copper, others into brown, yellow or green tones. Christopher Ward’s bronze, a Japanese-made multi-alloy bronze of copper and tin, ages to a discreet and distinguished copper brown with delicate textured hues for an individual, ‘vintage’ authenticity. Each piece will also evolve over time as it is handled, for a bespoke finish that is personalised to each individual owner.

The C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 can be worn up to depths of 600m and is complete with a Swiss made automatic Sellita SW200 movement. The signature Trident case design is expressed in multi-alloy bronze throughout, including the bezel, middle case and crown with a stainless steel backplate.

To enhance the unusual metal’s colour, the dial is then presented in a deep-hued, marine blue with a smooth-textured matte effect. Hour and minute hands are picked out in light bronze-coloured plating and covered with A-Grade SLN Light Old Radium GL lume paint.

The characteristic second hand with its signature Trident counterbalance has also received the bronze-coloured plating to contrast against the marine blue dial. Baton-style, lume-covered indexes then complete the distinguished yet purposeful dial design. To complement the rugged bronze look and dial hue, the C60 Trident Bronze is available with a heavy textured blue canvas webbing strap, with cream-white stitching.

Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 Professional 600m Diver’s

For many years, the Grand Seiko Diver’s watches have been in great demand from recreational divers. Today, the meticulous standards of Grand Seiko are expressed in a professional diver’s watch for the first time.

With a titanium case, an exclusive 9S hi-beat caliber and exceptional anti-magnetism, this new creation, with the Grand Seiko logo at the twelve o’clock position, pushes back the boundaries and takes Grand Seiko into an entirely new realm.

All the characteristics of Grand Seiko are here. Outstanding precision of -3 to +5 seconds a day, superb legibility, high durability, thanks to the high-intensity titanium case and bracelet and the distinctive clean edges that only Zaratsu polishing can achieve. This is unmistakably a Grand Seiko and yet no compromise is made in satisfying the needs of the professional diver. The case is designed for saturation diving, with the valve-free helium resistance that result from Seiko’s innovative technologies, including the heavy duty construction and the L-shaped gasket.

The grooves on the rotating bezel are extended for secure use, even with thick gloves. The bracelet has a sliding extension setting to accommodate pressure changes.

Even the dial is purpose built for this specialist use. It is made of iron to protect the movement from the harmful effects of magnetism and delivers magnetic resistance of 16,000 A/m. The whole watch and all its components are built for long-term use; the case, stem and crown are designed for secure servicing and even the bezel has a four-part design that makes for easy disassembly and re-assembly.

The Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 Professional 600m Diver’s is offered in two variations. The first is a limited edition that is offered with an extra-strength silicone strap alongside the high-intensity titanium bracelet. The strap is in the deep Grand Seiko blue to match the dial. Just five hundred of this limited edition will be made. The second version has a black dial and will be a permanent part of the Grand Seiko collection. Both versions will be available from August 2017.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean “Big Blue”

Determined to dive even deeper into the art of ceramic watchmaking, and inspired by the success of 2016’s Planet Ocean “Deep Black”, OMEGA set out to create a combination GMT and divers’ watch fashioned from a single block of blue ceramic. The resulting timepiece is known as the “Big Blue”.

In the Planet Ocean colours of blue and orange, “Big Blue” signals the first time that the OMEGA has delivered a case made entirely from blue ceramic. As well as this, the watch sports a blue ceramic dial with an orange GMT track. Adding sparkle to the blue dial are hands and indexes in 18K white gold with a white Super-LumiNova coating.

The blue ceramic bezel features a diving scale with Liquidmetal® numerals. A blend of orange rubber and ceramic covers the first 15 minutes. Orange rubber injections have also been used to colour the OMEGA logo on the crown and helium escape valve symbol.

The reverse side of the “Big Blue” is equally impressive, with its alveol pattern screw-in caseback, which features a unique OMEGA innovation: a patented ceramic Naiad Lock that keeps the engraved wording pleasingly in position.

The blue rubber strap with orange stitching and orange edges is held to the wrist by a blue ceramic foldover clasp. The Planet Ocean “Big Blue” is water-resistant to 60 bar and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology). OMEGA’s confidence in the watch’s quality is evident in the full 4-year warranty.

Squale Squalematic 60 ATM Professional

Squale, the specialist producer of Swiss made diving timepieces, enhances its range by introducing the brand new Squalematic 60 ATM Professional.

The Squalematic 60 ATM comes dressed in a modern 44mm diameter case while respecting the great Squale designs of the past in a perfect and authentic way. The Squalematic 60 ATM features the typical Squale crown at the 4 o´clock position which is slightly recessed and well protected against impacts. The elegant flowing design of the polished and brushed case makes the watch exceptionally comfortable to wear.

The hand painted dial with its distinctively designed steel markers and Superluminova provides excellent legibility in low light situations. The coin-shaped 60 clicks uni-directional bezel, with enamel inlay and Superluminova painted steel markers, partners well with the orange minute hand, providing crucial at-a-glance information on remaining or elapsed dive time.

The scratch-resistant domed double convex sapphire crystal is enhanced with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protecting his timepiece up to 600 meters below sea-level (60 atmosphere of pressure) as well as allowing for perfect legibility without blurring and optical distortion. This double domed sapphire-crystal gives it a perfect retro look and feel, adding to the uniqueness and special character of the Squalematic.

The Squale 60ATM Professional is powered by state of the art ETA 2824 self winding movement renowned for its precision and reliability.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Master Chronometer “Chocolate”

Featuring luscious brown colour as a nod to Switzerland’s chocolate manufacturing tradition , the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Master Chronometer “Chocolate” is among the first ladies’ timepieces to attain the impressive rating approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Certified as a Master Chronometer, the industry’s highest standard of certification, this sensual timepiece houses the new calibre 8801 which is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, complete with an oscillating weight crafted from 18K Sedna™ gold.

This is, in fact, the first time that 18K Sedna™ gold has been used for the Planet Ocean collection. The material has also been used for the case, hands and indexes, as well as the foldover clasp on the strap.

And to perfectly complement the soft reddish tone of the metal, OMEGA has created both the dial and bezel from chocolate brown ceramic. The colour is both rich and appealing, bringing yet another dimension to the Planet Ocean collection. On the bezel itself, OMEGA Ceragold™ technology has been used to create the numbers and new minute markers of the diving scale.

At 39.5 mm, this model is wider than some previous models, but has allowed for a slightly thinner case. Another aesthetic update can be found on the caseback, where a new undulating pattern offers a subtle yet captivating change.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Master Chronometer“Chocolate” watch is presented on a brown leather strap with a rubber underside for a sporty and comfortable combination.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Collection – Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm Chronograph, Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5mm Auto & Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.50mm GMT

This year bring some impressive updates to the Seamaster Planet Ocean Collection. For the first time, all Planet Ocean watches have become Master Chronometers. This means they have all passed rigorous new testing standards set down by the independent Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). In addition, in new models, we can find new sizes, thinner cases, innovative bezels, fresh designs and exciting materials, including 18K Sedna™ gold, Liquidmetal®, rubber and ceramic.

Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm Chronograph

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm Chronograph features an 18K Sedna™ gold and steel case and polished blue ceramic dial to create a watch that truly dazzles. It also includes a bi-colour bracelet in stainless steel with a stripe of 18K Sedna™ gold.

The deep blue of the ceramic dial and bezel is offset beautifully by the OMEGA Ceragold™ numbers and diving scale.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm Chronograph also has a unique alveol design on the screw-in caseback. The OMEGA Master Chronometer 9900 movement powers this timepiece.

Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5mm Auto
The striking uni-directional rotating diving bezel on the Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5mm Auto is a true innovation as well as a world premiere. For the first time, rubber has been blended with ceramic, with orange rubber covering the first 15 minutes. Liquidmetal® numbers and scales have then been used to stand out boldly for the diving and minute scales.

The black ceramic dial includes new applied Arabic numerals, and if you turn the watch over, a stunning alveol pattern on the caseback creates a special wave effect.

Completing the look of the stainless steel watch is the black leather strap with a black and orange rubber underside. The Master Chronometer 8900 movement powers this timepiece.

Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.50mm GMT
This timepiece features another first for Planet Ocean: the world’s premiere polished bi-ceramic [ZrO2] black and white bezel ring. On the stainless steel case, the bi-directional rotating bezel separates night from day, with numerals and scaling in contrasting colours.

If the colour of night wins out on the black ceramic dial, the numbers and scales shine through. Further brightness is provided by the dot at 12 o’clock in white Super-LumiNova.

The black leather strap with rubber lining is held fast with a foldover clasp in stainless steel. The Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.50mm GMT houses a revolutionary movement: the Master Chronometer 8906.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Chronograph Pro 600

Young Swiss designer Adrian Buchmann takes Christopher Ward Trident collection to a new level with a stunning new interpretation of the C60 Trident Chronograph Pro 600.

The design clearly shares the instantly recognisable Trident DNA, but Adrian’s creative new influence is apparent right from first sight of the dial. Aesthetically speaking, there are two highly engaging design elements. The most prominent feature is the boldness of the deep navy and metallic yellow dial that invites closer inspection of what is probably Christopher Ward’s most detailed dial to date. Another highlight is the intriguing and mesmerising 60 seconds sub-dial at the 9-o’clock position – a design inspired by a diver’s breathing regulator – which ‘breathes’ via a rotating disc behind a cut-out display, injecting life into this deep-sea machine.

This dynamic feature blends design with inherent practicality, offering ease of reading for the diver and instant reassurance at depth; while the more casual, land-based user will simply delight in the vivacity of the display. Finally, the deep (sea) blue colour of the dial adds an atmospheric backdrop to the drama of the vivid yellow sub-dials.

Beyond aesthetics, the C60 Trident Chronograph Pro 600 also provides technical advances too. With the needs of the professional diver in mind, the uni-directional ceramic bezel has been enhanced by the addition of a full minute-track and a more robustly defined font for the numerals, which are filled with high-grade SuperLuminova™ for outstanding luminosity.

Engineered to resist water at up to depths of 600 metres (2000 feet) the fluid contours of the Trident’s 43mm case, which also incorporates an automatic helium release valve, surround one of the most reliable and robust of chronograph movements, the self-winding ETA Valjoux7750. Further incremental enhancements include the ergonomically elegant case-back, with the edges of its fluid contours now chamfered and softened, blending elegantly with the redesigned rotating ceramic bezel.

The C60 Trident Chronograph Pro 600 is offered with the option of a stainless steel bracelet (£1455) or a newly-designed, colour-matched rubber strap (£1395) with embossed wave pattern and is available on Pre-order for delivery in early March, exclusively from Christopher ward website.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 Variations

Alongside the launch of the C60 Trident Chronograph Pro 600 the Trident Collection is further enhanced by the launch of two new models in titanium, the first use of this extraordinary metal in the Trident range. Combining the lightness and strength of titanium with the precision engineering of the C60 Trident Pro 600 (43mm) has resulted in two new dive options offered in two arresting colour options, injecting a darker edge into the Trident Collection.

C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 Variation #1
The darker hue on the two-tone brushed grey titanium case results from a diamond-like-carbon (DLC) finish and is complemented by the matt ceramic insert of the bezel, matt grey titanium indexes and hands – which are filled with blue emission SuperLuminova™ – and the warm grey printing of the minute track and brand logo.

The new C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 Variation #1 is offered with options of a titanium bracelet (£995), a rubber touch leather strap with titanium buckle (£750), and a high-density rubber strap with titanium buckle (£750).

C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 Variation #2
The brooding black 43mm case of Trident Titanium #2 is relieved by the sharp white lume of the indexes, hands and numerals of the mattblack ceramic bezel. The option of the PVD black titanium bracelet offers the most full-one expression of the model’s tongue-in-cheek ‘Black ops’ appeal, but this bold new arrival is a deep diving thoroughbred.

Variation #2 enjoys a precision-engineered fluidity of line that would benefit any water bound covert operation. The new C60 Trident Titanium Pro 600 Variation #2is offered with options of a PVD titanium bracelet (£1,025), a high density rubber strap with titanium buckle (£775), and a rubber touch leather strap with black titanium buckle (£775).

Christopher Ward – C60 Trident Pro Vintage Steel Edition & C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition

Christopher Ward’s recently re-engineered C60 Trident collection set a new benchmark for the brand’s iconic dive collection – from the meticulous re-engineering of almost every part to the unprecedented expansion of choice for the customer with almost 250 options in combining movement, size, and colour, Trident was truly redefined.

Now the comprehensively re-defined Trident is presented in two stunning new editions – the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Steel Edition and the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition (each in 38mm and 42mm options).

The Trident Pro models feature a comprehensively re-engineered case, watertight to 600 metres, encasing the fine Swiss made self-winding movement and providing a powerful platform for the matt-finish zirconia ceramic uni-directional bezel with a tetragonal structure that absorbs energy by expanding on impact, giving exceptional strength and protection.  The two stunning new case finishes in steel and black are completed by the ‘CW’ signature deep-stamped back-plate, ensuring all-round beauty.

In the two new models the Trident’s optimal engineering is now complemented with striking but subtly innovative aesthetic touches.  Firstly, the baton style indexes carry an intense new lume, SuperLuminova™ Old Radium Vintage, to deliver significantly enhanced visibility.

The vintage theme is further echoed in the sandblasting of the hands and indices, complementing the matt bezel and creating a patina redolent of times past.  This atmospheric effect can be further enhanced through the option of the handcrafted, vintage leather strap or, alternatively, can be dialled-down with the option of the classic stainless steel bracelet, adding a more contemporary balance.

The second new Trident model, the C60 Trident Pro Vintage Black Edition (42mm), exuding a dynamic air, particularly when presented in its multi-textured combination of black dial, case, bezel and black PVD stainless steel bracelet.

The new models (38mm and 42mm) are offered with the options of the Vintage Italian leather strap with CW motif buckle – from £599 – or 316L Marine grade bracelet with diver’s extension and classic steel or black PVD finish – from £660 – and are available on pre-order, for mid-September.
