Honoring an exceedingly rare tool watch issued to combat divers during the 1970s, Synchron presents a military limited edition dive watch.
It combines modern watchmaking technologies with beloved design language of the 1970s. This diving timepiece with a water resistance of 300 meters was created in collaboration with legendary Swedish dive gear manufacturer Poseidon Diving Systems.
This watch model is currently being tested and worn in arctic diving conditions by the elite divers of the Swedish military, who also informed a few of its key design elements.
With high-contrast dial markings, rich colors and the instantly-recognizable yellow badge of Poseidon Dive Gear, this new Synchron Limited Edition diver continues the tradition of purpose-built dive watch utility.
The 42mm diameter stainless steel case houses the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G100 self-winding calibre. The Synchron Poseidon Diver watch is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. Its retail price is $1,290.

Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the iconic Fifty Fathoms watch, Blancpain presents a commemorative edition.
In 1953, Blancpain introduced the first modern diver’s watch, the Fifty Fathoms. In 2003, to mark its 50th anniversary, the iconic Swiss Maison unveiled an anniversary limited edition comprising three series of 50 watches, thereby reviving the Fifty Fathoms.
Releasing this year, the first 70th anniversary watch is based on the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 50th anniversary limited series.
Featuring an exclusive 42 mm diameter and composed of three 70-piece limited series, this watch will be available for pre-order on the Blancpain website in January 2023.
Twenty years ago, Blancpain’s newly appointed CEO Marc A. Hayek, discovered the Fifty Fathoms lying dormant in the Brand’s archives. An avid scuba diver, he immediately decided to give it a new lease on life. The rebirth of the Fifty Fathoms was one of the first projects he undertook upon his arrival at Blancpain.
In 2003, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms, Blancpain launched a limited edition comprising three series of 50 watches.
This anniversary model picked up the aesthetic codes of the 1953 timepiece while ushering it into the 21st century. The black dial, bearing extra-large numerals and markings affirmed the character of the original watch that was recognisable at first glance, as too were its attributes as a timekeeping instrument designed for diving.
Made according to modern day specifications, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 50th anniversary model (reference 2200A-1130-71) was water-resistant to around 300 metres. Its self-winding movement was equipped with a twin barrel endowing it with a four-day power reserve. Another significant feature was that the epoxy bezel inlay of the 1950s was replaced by a domed, scratchproof sapphire insert.
The overwhelming success of this anniversary edition convinced Blancpain that the Fifty Fathoms should be included in its timepiece collections.
Now, to kick off year-long celebrations highlighting the 70th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms, the Manufacture is unveiling a brand-new timepiece that is also a nod to the 2003 “renaissance” model. Three series are once again being produced, this time each comprising 70 watches.
Each series is dedicated to a region of the world – EMEA, Asia-Pacific, the Americas – and bears a number from I to III on the dial.
The dial is black with a sunburst motif and features vintage-look luminescent hands and block-type hour- markers. The watch case, topped by the famous unidirectional bezel with a domed sapphire inlay, is made of polished steel and measures 42 mm in diameter and 14.30 mm in thickness.
This is an exclusive diameter, as no contemporary Fifty Fathoms has ever yet been offered in this size. Regular models measure 45 mm, while the usual limited-edition Fifty Fathoms has a 40 mm case.
By opting for a new 42 mm diameter, Blancpain is paying tribute to the 1953 model while at the same time responding to the demands of Fifty Fathoms enthusiasts.
It allows enjoying all the advantages of the Calibre 1315 in a concentrated format. Renowned for its extreme robustness, it has been a staple at Manufacture Blancpain since its launch in 2007. Based on a three-barrel architecture, this 35-jewel self-winding movement provides a five-day power reserve (120 hours).
Its silicon balance spring guarantees resistance to magnetism. This anniversary edition’s oscillating weight bearing the “Fifty Fathoms 70th” logo is made of platinum, chosen for its symbolism.
The first anniversary timepiece in 2023, this 42 mm Fifty Fathoms (reference 5010A/B/C-1130-NABA) is fitted with a black NATO YTT+ strap. This strap is made from 100% recycled and entirely recyclable thread from fishing nets recovered from the sea or oceans. The lug width of the watch is 21.50 mm.
The three series of 70 watches dedicated respectively to EMEA, Asia-Pacific and the Americas will be exclusively available for pre-order on the Blancpain website in January 2023.

The French watchmaking brand ZRC presents a new reference of its Grands Fonds 300 diving watch.
This new model has a sunray-brushed-finished dial with a summertime blue hue. Set off with a date at 3 o’clock, the dial is hovered over by two “Magnum”-style hands coated with Super-Luminova®, which tick over an hour chapter and a solid minute tracker, both dressed in white.
Although the lines of the iconic case haven’t changed, a handful of details have been revamped with a view to boosting the overall wearer-friendliness of the watch. The Allen hexagon socket screw system on the case has been upgraded to offer more flexibility when changing the strap. Every screw is totally independent from the others. So, a single tool is all that’s required to carry out a strap-change operation easily.
Case pressure resistance has also been improved thanks to the inclusion of a two-part caseback. The first in reinforced stainless steel, based on 3 pivots, ensures the engraving remains straight along the 12 o’clock-2 o’clock axis. A steel clamp ring closes the ensemble without creating any pressure on the caseback seal.
The crown set at 6 o’clock has changed. Its deeper, less polished knurling makes gripping easier. The Crown Protection SystemTM, which prevents the strap from being attached and closed if the crown isn’t screwed correctly, is still included to secure immersions.
Modernizing the design of this new generation dive watch, the unidirectional rotating bezel with its 60 notches has been rethought. In its original version, there was a chance it could accidentally rotate during a dive. This shortcoming has now been corrected. The bezel is henceforth aligned with the inner side of the case chamfering to be 2/10th more withdrawn to ensure it doesn’t turn unintentionally or even jump. Here too, knurling has been bettered just like on the crown.
Special attention was also paid to noise to infuse its gyration with melodious clicking. The bezel insert has also evolved. It is now fashioned using ceramic and is optimally corrosion- and oxidation-resistant. As well as offering a host of finish possibilities, this material can be dressed in a wide array of colors and its presence makes the ECSTM system even more efficient. This cutting-edge patented system prevents salt from crystallizing between the bezel and the case by ensuring fresh water flows freely inside the bezel when it’s being cleaned.
The 41.5 mm-diameter mono-block case crafted in non-magnetic 316L steel, with its one-of-a-kind silhouette extended by two massive beveled lugs hosts the Sellita SW200-1 caliber in its sophisticated version. This Swiss Made self-winding mechanical movement, beating at a standard frequency of 28,800 vibrations an hour (4 Hz) delivers a power reserve of at least 38 hours.
The striking contrast offers optimal legibility. This is emphasized even more as luminescent material also reigns on these elements as well as on the dot at the tip of the “lollipop” central direct-drive and on the markers displayed on the shiny black ceramic bezel.
The ZRC Grands Fonds 300 Osmium watch is worn on a sound yet comfortable dial-matching strap, clasped by a satinated steel buckle tongue.
This new timepiece from the ZRC GF 300 MN64 collection is water-resistant up to 300 meters. The approximate retail price is 2,890 CHF.

Swiss watch brand Omega presents two special edition Seamaster 300 watches to mark the 60th anniversary of the James Bond franchise. Each one pays homage to the spy through innovation and impressive materials – with a touch of film magic infused within the design.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 60 Years of James Bond Stainless Steel
Inspired by the very same Seamaster that 007 wore in GoldenEye, this 42 mm timepiece in stainless steel comes with a film-themed caseback, which replicates the famous 007 opening sequence – with Bond in silhouette and a spinning gun barrel design. This dynamic scene plays out beneath the sapphire, decorated with micro-structured metallisation. The patent pending “moiré” effect animation is linked to the running of the lollipop central seconds hand, so the action never stops.
The watch is driven by a precise Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 and is presented on a mesh-style bracelet – in the same style as James Bond’s OMEGA watch in No Time To Die.
The bezel and dial are both made from blue oxalic anodized aluminium, with the dial featuring laser-engraved waves, and the bezel featuring a diving scale filled with white Super-LumiNova. The commemorative “60” replaces the diving scale’s traditional inverted triangle, and luminescent green dot which links to the minute hand.
This model comes in a blue wooden presentation box in the original Diver 300M wave pattern, with three dots inspired by the classic Bond opening title sequence, including a secret push button on the right.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 60 Years Of James Bond Canopus Gold™
This 42 mm watch is made of 18K Canopus Gold™, an exclusive white gold alloy known for its brilliant shine and long-lasting effect.
In a nod to the beautiful sands of Ian Fleming’s Jamaican home, GoldenEye, the dial has been made from natural grey silicon. Thanks to the crystallites, the pattern on each one is totally unique, guaranteeing the wearer that no two dials are ever alike.
In tribute to the Jamaican flag, the bezel is circled with a paving of green and yellow treated natural diamonds in 10 different tropical shades, which range from extra dark forest green to cognac, passing through olive, yellow, gold and gold/ cognac. Two additional clear diamonds at 12 o’clock add some vibrant sparkle to the look and make reference to the 60th anniversary.
Like the steel model, the film-themed caseback replicates the famous 007 opening sequence – with Bond in silhouette and a spinning gun barrel design. As the lollipop seconds hand moves, this dynamic scene plays out beneath the sapphire, decorated with a patent pending micro-structured metallisation, known as a “moiré” effect animation.
The watch is powered by the luxury Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8807, and comes presented on a bracelet and buckle in 18K Canopus Gold™
Owners of this edition receive their watch in a mango tree box with mother-of-pearl marquetry and a 60 Years of Bond logo. The use of mango tree references a famous song from the first James Bond film, while the mother-of-pearl is a nod to the shells of Crab Key. This elegant box also includes the film-inspired dots.
Along with these timepieces, OMEGA is also offering a range of accessories that offer even more secret agent style.
Sailing bracelets
A sailing bracelet in brushed titanium, with multi-coloured nylon braiding, inspired by the NATO strap worn in No Time To Die. The designs feature a moveable decorative ring with engraved 007 logo.
A sailing bracelet in stainless steel, with blue and grey nylon braiding, featuring a moveable decorative ring with engraved 007 logo.
A sailing bracelet in black and grey nylon braiding, inspired by the NATO strap worn in Spectre. Available in standard and slim-fit sizes, it includes a moveable decorative ring with engraved 007 logo.
Cufflinks
Round stainless steel cufflinks with plates inspired by Bond’s OMEGA in Quantum Of Solace. Each piece features stems engraved with the 007 logo.
Square stainless steel cufflinks, with plates matching the mesh bracelet of the 60th anniversary stainless steel watch. The edges are engraved with the 007 logo.
Round stainless steel cufflinks. Matching the caseback of the 60th anniversary watch, the design feature dots inspired by the iconic James Bond opening sequence from 1962. The 007 logo is engraved on the toggles.

With this special edition diving watch, DAVOSA supports the non-governmental organisation Coral Guardian, which is specialised internationally in the preservation and renewal of endangered underwater ecosystems.
The team working with biologist and co-founder Martin Colognoli operates on location with local structures to restore corals, and also educates local populations about this important issue. Coral Guardian has been sharing the knowledge and experience it has gained from active marine protection in its training programme, Blue Center, for many years. One of the organisation’s principal aims is to train more people to implement their own local projects around the world.
DAVOSA’s the Argonautic Coral is a professional diving watch with a striking, bright orange or turquoise dial inspired by fluorescent corals. Proceeds from the project go directly to Coral Guardian to support the reforestation of the coral reef on Hatamin Island in Indonesia. Every buyer of an Argonautic Coral receives a tangible receipt of their contribution in the form of a donor certificate in the accompanying booklet.
The Argonautic Coral shares the outstanding features of the Argonautic series, making it a professional instrument underwater and a stylish companion above the water.
The 30ATM water-resistant case with a screw-down crown and helium valve is equipped with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The SuperLumiNova® BGW9 luminescent material makes the hands, numerals and luminous dot on the bezel shine brightly, even in poor visibility.
Another highlight is the unique bezel material that has been specially developed by DAVOSA. The high-performance material BEYOND STEEL® has super-class properties: It is as heavy as gold (with a density of 19.3g/cm³), almost as hard as diamond (9.5 on the Mohs hardness scale) and withstands the highest heat (melting point at 2,950 C°).
Moreover, BEYOND STEEL® is practically indestructible, absolutely resistant to chemical factors and both rust and nickel-free. It has a hardness rating of four times that of titanium and twice that of steel.
In addition to the limited edition number, the screw-down back is adorned with a stylised coral. The Argonautic Coral is accompanied by a TriaLink stainless steel strap with a diving extension.
The watch comes in a beautifully crafted wooden box and has a recommended retail price of 1,158 Euros.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War. To pay homage to the service and sacrifice of those who served during this chapter in the history of the British Armed Forces, Spinnaker has launched the Cahill 300 Automatic Help For Heroes Limited Edition timepiece.
Help For Heroes is the leading veterans charity founded to provide lifetime support to those wounded in the service of their country. Every course and activity offered from them aims to empower veterans to look beyond illness and injury, regain their purpose, reach their potential and have a positive impact on society.
Robust yet wearable, the 43mm case has an impressive 300m of water resistance. Crafted out of solid marine grade 316L stainless steel, the aluminium inlaid diver uni-directional bezel calls out the 40-year anniversary of the Falklands Conflict.
The 15-minute mark is also highlighted on the bezel to nod at 15 years since the establishment of the Help for Heroes charity.
A scratch resistant sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating offers protection, clarity and visibility. The watch comes with a screw down crown ensuring its durability and resistance to the elements.
Cleanly and unabashedly classic, the dial is that of a traditional dive watch with slightly more adventurous proportions. ‘Mercedes’ style dive hands are re-proportioned and generously lumed with Swiss luminous reflecting proportion and excellent legibility and visibility. The hands and dial mark out subtle references to the three-colour design of the Help For Heroes logo.
Each colour represents the separate but united branches of the Royal Armed Forces. The Cahill is powered by the robust and reliable Japanese NH35 TMI (Seiko) automatic movement.
The watch comes with a choice of either a solid stainless bracelet with a solid deployant buckle or a hand stitched water-resistant leather strap that is robust yet comfortable for an every day, every season wear.
The strap is marked by a three-stitch design echoing the Help For Heroes colours -which represent the three branches of the Armed forces, Navy, Army and Air Force.
Each watch is uniquely numbered and part of a limited edition production of only 600 pieces. Each watch contributes 5% of net sales going toward the important work of the Help For Heroes organization.

Celebrating its association with Bollywood megastar Hrithik Roshan, Swiss watch brand Rado has created a special edition Captain Cook model.
The Hrithik Roshan Special Edition is a fresh iteration of the iconic Captain Cook in Rado’s signature high-tech ceramic. Paying homage to vintage Captain Cook look and feel, this new timepiece features a box-shaped sapphire crystal with a unique ‘bubble’ look.
The tinted black crystal protects a cut-away dial that offers fascinating views of the Rado 734 calibre. The antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring improves reliability by protecting the movement from magnetic fields, and while industry standards require testing in 3 positions, Rado tests each watch in 5 different positions, further enhancing its reliable accuracy. It offers an 80-hour power reserve.
A closer look at the new Hrithik Roshan Special Edition shows the case to be a monobloc construction in matt plasma high-tech ceramic. Framing the dial is a rose gold coloured stainless steel turning bezel with plasma high-tech ceramic inlay and rose gold coloured lacquered numbers, markers and triangle.
Super-LumiNova® highlights on the rose gold coloured hands and applied indexes stand out in strong contrast against the black dial. The case back in brushed titanium presents a tinted black sapphire crystal embellished with the metallised rose gold coloured script: HRITHIK ROSHAN SPECIAL EDITION.
The 43-mm diameter watch case is held securely on the wrist by a high-tech ceramic 3-row bracelet with matt plasma outer links and polished plasma high-tech ceramic middle links.

Spinnaker has expanded its Boettger Automatic diving watch by offering a limited edition run of 4 new striking colours: Blue, Orange, Yellow and White.
Boasting a water resistance of 300 meters, this 42mm stainless steel watch features a lugless case design that offers seamless fitment of the bracelet. The bezel is slim but carved carefully to offer a satisfactory grip for the user. The slim profile of the case offers practicability and ergonomics.
The hour indexes are suspended over the hour and minute hand, creating a unique frame of time. Rethinking the traditional layout of dial face, the watch is still legible and completely functional as a true piece of dive timing instrumentation.
Generously lumed, and using the right combination of shapes, the interplay of dial and hands feels natural and fluent to the form and lines of the Boettger.
Powering the watch is a reliable, dependable, and precise self-winding caliber. Equipped with 24 Jewels and beating at the rate of 28,800 Bph, the Miyota 9015 automatic movement offers 42 hours of power reserve.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet that integrates directly into the lugless case body for a snug fit, designed for most wrists.
Along with this timepiece, the brand is also offering an extra custom moulded FKM rubber strap with a solid stainless steel buckle.
The retail price of the new Spinnaker SP-5083 Boettger Automatic watch is $690 (GBP £690 / EUR €690). This model is available from 28 October 2022 at Spinnaker watches online store.
Berlin based global fashion and media brand Highsnobiety has collaborated with Disney’s Fantasia through the release of a limited-edition watch created by UNIMATIC.
Since its 1940 release, Fantasia, the animated film that features seven segments set to classical music, has received critical acclaim and a cult following for ground-breaking visual design that was well beyond its time.
The collection takes a look back on the motion picture and ways in which it has stood at the forefront of film culture symbolizing innovation. Each piece celebrates this legacy and revisits the outstanding visuals, pulling reference from the Disney archive and film stills to capture the story that is Fantasia.
UNIMATIC has partnered with both Disney and Highsnobiety to celebrate this commemoration with the design of an exclusive diving watch, produced in a limited edition run of 100 pieces. Referencing the token Mickey Mouse watch memorabilia that since its debut has become a coveted collector’s item, the design further evokes the spirit of Fantasia.
Crafted in Italy, the UNIMATIC U1S-HS watch is a slim professional diving watch made of brushed stainless steel centered by the unmistakable Mickey Mouse character from Fantasia donning the red robe and navy sorcerer hat.
Each timepiece includes interchangeable straps in navy, burgundy and black and is marked with Disney x UNIMATIC x Highsnobiety engraving and individual progressive number on the caseback.
The Disney Fantasia x Highsnobiety collection is available for purchase at Highsnobiety Shop from October 19, 2022.

Swiss watch brand Squale has released new models from its popular 1545 collection. With a resistance of up to 30 atmospheres of pressure (300 meters deep), Squale 1545 is a precision tool watch dedicated to underwater adventurers.
The 1545 collection was launched in the 70s. It was originally produced on demand for numerous other brands when Squale was one of the first manufacturers of “water resistant” cases in the world.
Over the years, the Y1545 case (the collection takes its name from the serial production number of the case) has been manufactured in different sizes and with different finishes but without ever losing the characteristic style that continues to distinguish it to this day.
Inspired by the original Squale 1545 diving watches produced in the 70s, the dials of new models have been redesigned with a modern touch and feature intense colours and finishes with attention to the finest details.
Every model in the 1545 collection is equipped with a red rubberized gasket inside the screw-down crown. This gasket (the O-ring) allows the wearer to tell at a glance if the crown is open or closed as the gasket is not visible when the crown is closed correctly.
Swiss made, the new Squale 1545 diving watches are equipped with the Automatic Sellita SW 200-1 movement. They feature stainless steel cases measuring 40mm diameter. Other features include unidirectional bezel with ceramic insert, flat sapphire crystal glass, and Screw-in crown and caseback made of stainless steel.
Presently, the brand is offering three dial choices: black, grey and white. These new models are available with stainless steel bracelet or rubber strap.

With the new freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition, RAYMOND WEIL pays tribute to Geneva, the city where the brand was founded and continues to call home.
RAYMOND WEIL was established in 1976 in Geneva. Now, the Maison celebrates its close ties with the city by releasing a new version of its popular freelancer diver model. The RAYMOND WEIL freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition pays tribute to Lake Geneva, widely known as ‘Lac Léman’, the most recognisable landmark of the city.
The new freelancer diver watch is equipped with the Calibre RW4200, a Swiss automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. The model is water resistant to 310m, the depth of Lac Léman. Indeed, it is this latter figure which also inspired RAYMOND WEIL to limit production of this divers’ watch to just 310 pieces.
Endowed with a blue gradient dial, the freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition pays tribute to Lac Léman. Mid-blue tones populate the upper reaches of the dial. This transition to dark blue hues adjacent to 6 o’clock evokes the deepest, darkest parts of the lake.
The barrel-shaped hour and minute hands converse with applied indexes. Both the hands and indexes are treated with Super-LumiNova®, aiding readability in dim light conditions. During the day this luminescent material appears light grey, inspired by the mountains that look down on the lake, however in the dim light it radiates a blue emission.
Another reference to water and the lake is the drop-shaped date aperture at 6 o’clock. The design of each numeral on the date disc has been optimally shaped to improve legibility. This notion of legibility also extends to the central sweep seconds hand which features a ‘lollipop’, a useful feature when exploring the lake underwater.
The 42.5mm stainless steel case features a scratch-resistant, rotating black ceramic bezel. As diving convention dictates, the bezel is unidirectional and readability is assured courtesy of its light-grey count-up scale and the Super-LumiNova® marker at 12 o’clock.
The screwed-down steel case-back is engraved with a depiction of the ‘Jet d’Eau’, the famous Genevan landmark.
The Raymond Weil freelancer diver Geneva Limited Edition watch is presented on a 5-row stainless steel bracelet and features a folding clasp with a double push-security system.

German watch brand Laco has expanded its product family of squad and sport watches by launching variants with a reduced case diameter of 39 millimeters.
With these watches, which will be available in a total of four colors with different strap variants, Laco is responding to the request frequently expressed by customers for a smaller size, in addition to the existing 42 mm models. In addition, the new timepieces adopt the sporty look, technical details, as well as the names of the already known “Scorpions”: Himalaya, Mojave, Amazonas and Atlantik.
LACO Amazonas 39
The new models are again dedicated to the scorpion, whose relief adorns the caseback. These true explorer watches are robust, adaptable and luminous despite their small size.
The black dial with Arabic numerals in white provides the best contrasts. The differentiation and dynamics are given to the timepieces via their eye-catching color accents. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, as well as the indexes and the minute hand are covered with the luminous material Superluminova in white, green, blue or orange.
LACO Atlantik 39
In combination with the screw-down caseback, the double-domed and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, as well as the screw-down crown, the robust case withstands a pressure of 30 ATM.
These watches are powered by the automatic movement “Laco 200”, which is based on the reliable Swiss caliber Sellita SW200.
For use in and around water, Laco offers robust rubber straps and metal bracelets that provide maximum wearing comfort and can give the watches a completely new look.
LACO Mojave 39
The new models will be available from October directly from Laco and authorized retailers at a price of €930 (with rubber strap) or €980 (with metal bracelet).

In 2022, Blancpain is focusing on introducing new variants of its Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe watches, playing with styles by means of red gold and grade 23 titanium.
Following the 1953 launch of the Fifty Fathoms, the first modern diver’s watch, Blancpain developed numerous variations of this vital timekeeping tool for divers.
The Bathyscaphe watch created in 1956 is undoubtedly one of the finest examples. The flyback chronograph joined the contemporary Bathyscaphe line in 2014 and was the first complication to equip Blancpain’s “urban diver” model.
The Manufacture is now returning its Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph model to centre-stage, housing one of the watch industry’s most renowned chronograph movements. Blancpain Calibre F385 is one of the latest in a line of Blancpain chronographs that have often been world firsts over the past 30 years.
This in-house movement draws on Blancpain’s refined vertical clutch design that ensures smooth engagement of the chronograph mechanism, eliminating the problem of the chronograph seconds hand making sudden, abrupt jumps. Control of starting, stopping and resetting the chronograph is done via a column wheel, enabling smooth and comfortable operation of the pushers.
The F385 beats at a frequency of 5 Hz, which is a considerable advantage in terms of timekeeping accuracy compared to lower frequencies. It has an inertia-regulated balance wheel with a silicon balance spring, whose geometry and lightness help ensure excellent chronometric performance.
Recently introduced into its collections by Blancpain, grade 23 titanium – also known as grade 5 ELI (extra low interstitials) – is the purest type of titanium available.
The red gold version has a blue dial while the grade 23 titanium features an anthracite dial. Whether the model is in red gold or titanium, the dial is graced with a sunburst pattern throughout and a snailed motif on the chronograph counters, designed to create a sense of depth and contrast.
The new Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph models are naturally framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic inlay, a signature of the contemporary Bathyscaphe line.
The blue inlay on the red gold version sports a glossy finish and a Ceragold™ time scale, while the anthracite inlay of the titanium watch is satin-brushed and features a Liquidmetal™ scale.
The cases of both watches measure 43 mm in diameter and are water resistant to 30 bar (approximately 300 m).
They are paired with a NATO or sailcloth strap matching the dial colour. The sail canvas strap of the red gold version comes with a choice of pin buckle or folding clasp, while the grade 23 titanium model is also available with a titanium bracelet.

Swiss luxury watch brand Ulysse Nardin has released two new versions of its LADY DIVER 39mm and BLAST TOURBILLON 45mm timepieces, both inspired by the iridescent rainbow colors of silicium.
In 2001, Ulysse Nardin became the first watchmaker to introduce a timepiece with silicium escapement components. Since then, the brand has incorporated this metalloid into several of its movements, including the BLAST TOURBILLON’s caliber UN-172 and the LADY DIVER’s caliber UN-816.
Inspired by the shimmering colors of this revolutionary material, the bezels of these two new models are adorned with purple, green, blue or pink gem-stones that sparkle in the sunlight for a “rainbow” effect.
The ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST is a revolutionary watch with a 45mm case and skeleton “X” dial with complex and geometric forms.
To soften the look, a total of 50 rubies and sapphire baguette gemstones adorn the bezel and the indexes of the RAINBOW edition of the ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST.
The BLAST is powered by the UN-172 automatic flying tourbillon movement with Silicium technology (escapement wheel, anchor & balance spring) enclosed in a black DLC titanium case and sealed with a black ceramic polished and sand-blasted upper case. Boasting a micro-rotor in platinum placed at 12 o’clock, the UN-172 calibre offers 72 hours of power reserve.
Limited to 50 pieces, the ULYSSE NARDIN BLAST RAINBOW watch comes with a waterproof velvet rubber strap or a black alligator strap, together with a black DLC titanium and black ceramic self-deploying buckle. It is water resistant to 50 meters. This timepiece retails at a price of 85’000 CHF.
The new LADY DIVER RAINBOW in black or white is the next generation of the 2019 LADY DIVER but with eye-catching, dazzling decorative touches. Forty stones (ruby, aquamarine, topaz, tsavorite and sapphire) are set on the concave unidirectional bezel of this new watch.
Eleven diamonds serving as indexes increase the scintillating effect of the watch and bring a touch of elegance to this sublime diving watch. Both young and sportive, this 39mm ULYSSE NARDIN LADY DIVER RAINBOW is water resistant to 300 meters.
The UN-816 automatic movement with Silicium technology is the beating heart of each DIVER watch, keeping track of the hours, minutes, seconds, and date.
Both white and black LADY DIVER RAINBOW models come in a limited edition of 300 timepieces each on a white or black structured rubber strap, at a price of 12’900 CHF.

Ollech & Wajs presents OW M110, a tactical tool watch that draws on over 60 years of military and dive expertise of the brand.
This new model combines many design characteristics, and the waterproofness of OW’s original dive watches, with a 360-degree compass bezel more conventionally found on field watches. The M110 honours the long legacy of armed forces personnel who have worn OW watches, especially in the 1960s.
The new OW M110 takes several design cues from vintage Ollech & Wajs military watches such as the 1964 OW Aquaguard.
The compass bezel of the new OW M110 watch is a node to vintage field watches and navigation instruments. During the old times, compass bezel was used by the soldiers to navigate through unknown regions. Today, we use GPS satellites and sensors to track our positions from anywhere in the world.
Another distinctive feature of the M110 is provisioning of the radio silence period markers on the dial. These are three-minute periods immediately after each quarter hour, reserved exclusively for making – and listening for – distress calls.
The M110, as the first OW watch to house the new Soprod Newton Precision movement, also sets a new bearing for Ollech & Wajs.
The result of a close collaboration between OW and Soprod, the new movement is a bespoke version of the Newton P092, modified to OW’s own specifications and adjusted in five positions. It has been finished in accordance with the iconic tool watch brand’s rugged aesthetics.
The inscription ‘OW Zurich 1956’ is engraved into the nickel- plated base, on which sits a co-designed, custom rotor in the shape of the OW marque.
The Soprod Newton P092 movement is independently tested for dependability and durability at the internationally renowned Laboratoire Dubois in Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and has been awarded a Chronofiable® certification.
The M110 also sees the return of the classic ‘skin diver’ case, first used on early OW models such as the 1964 Aquaguard and the 1965 Early Bird.
The M110 will come on either a yet-to-be-revealed strap option, or a heavy-gauge, stainless steel mesh bracelet with reinforced ends and hand-brushed finish.
A great amount of care has gone into the development of this new bracelet, in line with OW’s historical approach. Comfortable to wear, it is virtually indestructible and fit for professional use. The sturdy milled and engraved clasp is extendable up to 22 mm, and a double pusher-release system provides extra security against accidental opening.
As has become a new OW tradition, the first 56 M110 watches will be offered with numbered crowns.
The Ollech & Wajs M110 watch will be available in late 2022 and priced between CHF 1,456 and CHF 1,596.

Yema presents the Navygraf French Submarine Forces collection designed in collaboration with Marine Nationale in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Strategic Oceanic Force (FOST). This new series is comprised of two case versions: 316L stainless steel and bronze.
The Yema Navygraf FSM model has a 39mm diameter 316L stainless steel case with brushed finish. This watch features a phantom dial. Upon request of Marine Nationale military staff, all inscriptions of the Navygraf FSM have been darkened to blend almost completely with the dial.
The scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal (2.5mm thick) and bezel offer a glossy and high-quality finish to this military timepiece. The hands, dial and bezel markers are treated with Swiss Super-LumiNova® C1 so as to offer perfect readability in low light conditions. Made of steel, the screw-down crown features Marine Nationale anchor insignia embossed.
The Yema Navygraf FSM Bronze watch features a 38.5mm diameter case. The bronze case boasts different finishes with vertical brushing, polished bevelled lugs and a circular brushed bezel. The bronze hue is also visible in the dial’s Navygraf mention, the indexes and watch hands while the black dial is reminiscent of FOST’s nuclear submarines’ hulls.
The hands, dial and bezel markers are treated with Swiss Super-LumiNova® for ensuring readability in low light conditions.
A 3.00mm thick double-domed sapphire crystal, offers better readability, increased resistance and a resolutely vintage look. The screw-down crown in bronze features Marine Nationale anchor insignia embossed.

Swiss watch brand DOXA presents a modern, stainless steel version of its iconic DOXA Army model.
Introduced in 1967, the DOXA SUB 300 was the first 100% professional diving watch affordable to a wider public. It was designed and developed a team led by Urs Eschle, who was the head of development for DOXA watches of that era.
Long back in 1966, the Swiss Army had begun to set up units of professional military divers, trained as true elite troops. By 1969, DOXA SUB watches became the “official watches” of the Swiss Army’s elite divers unit.
Still within the framework of its military collaboration with the Swiss Army, DOXA developed a dedicated tool watch, aptly named “Army” that was marketed for the first time in 1968 – “The ideal watch for military divers.”
Recognizable with its black case, black bezel with black insert and sand-beige dial, the watch continues to ensure excellent readability underwater.
DOXA Army is one of the most sought-after vintage DOXA timepieces for collectors, thanks to its history with the Swiss Army and its original design.
Today, more than 50 years after its debut, DOXA pays tribute to this era with the reissue of the DOXA Army in stainless steel.
In April 2022 the brand launched a DOXA Army Black Ceramic model in a limited edition of 100 pieces in collaboration with its Anglo-American partner, Watches of Switzerland.
Inspired by the success of this collection, DOXA presents the stainless steel non-limited version with a sand-beige dial and, for the first time, a choice of bezel in bronze or steel with a ceramic insert in hunter green or black, respectively. It follows through on the design aesthetic of the original DOXA Army watch, adding a subtle touch of modernity and performance in tune with today.
The 42.50-millimeter case of the DOXA Army, machined from a block of 316L stainless steel, is topped with a sapphire crystal. The watch is resistant to a pressure of 30 ATM, equivalent to a depth of 300 meters or 984 feet.
This reissue model features a unidirectional rotating bezel in bronze –marking the first time ever that DOXA has used this metal in its collections – with a hunter green ceramic insert or in stainless steel with a black ceramic insert.
All diving-related indications are enhanced with a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating to ensure optimal readability underwater.
This new timepiece is available with the choice of a stainless steel “beads of rice” bracelet with folding clasp and exclusive “DOXA fish” symbol or an FKM rubber strap in black or hunter green.
Included in the box with each Doxa Army comes is an additional NATO camouflage strap. The special case features the original camouflage pattern of the field uniform worn at the time by the Swiss Army.
The retail price range of the DOXA Army is CHF 1,950.00 to CHF 2,190.00.
The DOXA Army in stainless steel will be available from October 2022.

The new C60 Trident Pro 300 is an exceptional dive watch designed in collaboration with Christopher Ward’s Forum. Water resistant to 300m, this robust stainless steel wristwatch is available in three case sizes: 38mm, 40mm and 42mm.
The thickness of case and lug-width vary depending upon the diameter. Four dial colors are available: White, Black, Blue, and Green.
This model has been provided with more luminous coating than the CW C60 Trident Pro 600 version, as the hour markers are marginally larger, and the new date window placement means fewer are truncated.
This new Swiss Made automatic watch proudly represents the ever-evolving Christopher Ward design language. The twin-flags that represent the English and Swiss heritage of the brand are now at 12, the date at 6, and the word mark ‘Christopher Ward’ relocated to the rotor visible at the rear.
The redesigned bezel has two parts: the regular rotating outer section with its coloured ceramic insert, and a fixed steel inner ring, with gradients all the way around. It’s an aesthetic improvement as much as a functional one, it gives a more polished and detailed feel.
The exhibition caseback affords the view off the Sellita SW200-1 self-winding movement in its most highly finished form.
The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 is available with hybrid, metal, rubber and #tide strap options. The redesigned bracelet in marine-grade stainless steel features an increased taper – 16.5mm at the clasp – and an improved micro-adjustment mechanism. Plus, it now has screw links rather than pins.
