BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic

First launched in 2011, the Ball Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST is a professional-grade deep-diving instrument.

Undeniably tough and equipped with the necessary diving features, the watch has been subtly redesigned to meet new standards. The new generation model in titanium features BALL’s patented automatic helium release valve directly integrated into the crown, while its ultra-tough monobloc titanium case remains untouched and unrivalled.

BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic diving watch with black dial and black bezel

The case is made of a single block of solid titanium to reduce potential interfaces and thus effects of water pressure. Titanium not only offers extreme corrosion resistance in water, but also outstanding everyday durability and strength, capable of withstanding and absorbing intense impact.

BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic diving watch with black dial and green bezel

The Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST is water resistant up to 1000m/3300ft. The strong crown seals have contributed to avoid any entry of water when it is maintained in the screwed-in position. And in order to safely eliminate the pressure from the watch on the way back to the surface and avoid any damage, a patented automatic helium release valve has been incorporated directly into the crown.

The generously proportioned titanium case as well as the wide dial opening and its streamlined design also enable immediate and clear reading of the timepiece’s indications, another essential feature of any diving watch.

BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic diving watch with green bezel and green dial

The markings on the rotating bezel allow the diver to accurately monitor the immersion time as well as decompression stops. The bezel has been designed to be easily gripped even with gloves on and its unidirectional rotation is an additional source of safety in the event of its accidental movement while in the water.

For the first time in ceramic, it is available in black or in dark green. Virtually scratchproof, the ceramic can withstand daily knocks and the harshest conditions, while its resistance to ultra-violet rays ensures long lasting color.

To allow instant and reliable visibility in every situation, the dial and the hands feature wider H₃ gas tubes in green and yellow colors, some of the brightest tones that glow in the dark.

BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic

The tapered stainless steel and titanium bracelet, with the BALL patented folding buckle and extension system, means the watch can be easily and safely worn on the wrist even over a diving suit. The Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST has a guaranteed shock resistance of up to 7,500Gs and an antimagnetic endurance of an intensity of up to 4,800A/m.

BALL Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST Ceramic watch with rubber strap

The 42mm diameter case houses an automatic chronometer certified caliber BALL RR1101-C. The Ball Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST displays hours, minutes, sweep seconds and date.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

During Watches & Wonders 2022 exhibition in Geneva, TAG Heuer unveiled its new Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver watch.

The new professional grade diving model represents an important milestone for TAG Heuer, as it is the first timepiece from the brand utilising calibre TH30-00 produced by Kenissi Manufacture SA, one of the most highly regarded movement manufacturers in the world. The new calibre is manufactured exclusively for TAG Heuer and begins an important chapter for the history of the brand that will see significant improvements in terms of reliability and durability.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

As the ultimate timepiece and dive watch, the Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver displays TAG Heuer’s expertise in the field, a savoir faire that dates back over 40 years. The latest addition to the company’s lineage of ultra-water-resistant watches, the Superdiver picks up the mantle from such greats as the Heuer 1000m Diver and the Super Professional.

Launched in 1982, the 1000m Diver was a pioneer ahead of its time. With a larger 41.5 mm case and crown positioned at 4 o’clock to improve ergonomics, it was a strong entry from TAG Heuer into the world of professional dive watches, finding use with prestigious organisations, such as La Spirotechnique, the company founded by Jacques-Yves Cousteau.

The 1000m Diver was joined by the Super Professional in 1984, a watch that has become an icon among TAG Heuer dive watches. Designed specifically for professional divers, it featured a substantial matte-finished case and pronounced teeth on the bezel to make setting easier when wearing dive equipment. It was also fitted to a bracelet with an extension link to wear over a wet suit. Provided in a kit with an additional rubber strap and decompression tables, it was clearly intended for those doing the most demanding work below the waves.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

With its 45 mm case, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is made to resist the greatest underwater depths. The watch is extremely robust and sports a bold, but elegant, look and a thickness of just 15.75 mm, enabling the watch to resist the extreme pressure of the deep while continuing to be one of the slimmest in the deep dive watch category.

The designers have ensured optimal legibility for this maritime timepiece. The indicator for the hour is in the form of an arrow and is more imposing than in the classic Aquaracer Professional 300, with the aim of increasing underwater visibility thanks to its sizeable area for Super-LumiNova®.

The minute and second hands are orange in colour highlight the most useful hands for diving purposes. Indeed, it is no coincidence that the colour orange dominates the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Superdiver 1000. It is the very colour of maritime safety and opposes the blue of the ocean on the colour wheel, meaning it can be quickly spotted at sea.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

On the dial, the horizontal striped design that already features in the Aquaracer Professional 300 collection has also been included on this watch. For the Superdiver version, the lines are set further apart, again to improve visibility.

On the ceramic bezel, the first quarter is orange, highlighting the portion most often used for timing decompression stops, which is a key technical detail used extensively by divers when taking part in deep-water exercises. The bezel is forged with black ceramic and a unique composite made of a hybrid material incorporating ceramic with an orange colour specifically developed for TAG Heuer.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Superdiver 1000 uses the highest grade of Super-LumiNova®, SLN Grade X1, which is extremely powerful and bright and allows for optimal legibility in the dark.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

The date cyclops has been removed for technical reasons, as the technology for mounting under the sapphire crystal has become difficult to maintain at such depths. Yet, the move is beneficial to the design, as it provides the watch a cleaner aesthetic.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

In the constant move toward greater durability and safety, TAG Heuer has also added a more substantial crown protector than is usually found on dive watches. The main role of the guard is to ensure the safe screwing and unscrewing of the crown and, as a result, protect the movement from any risk of water ingress.

The orange seal around the crown tube is a detail that not only recalls the orange running throughout the watch design, but also provides an important visual indicator that the screw-down crown is properly fixed. This visual detail has been passed down from the TAG Heuer Aquagraph, which integrated the system in 2003. Finally, the crown is coated in black DLC to provide a high contrast to the case and the touches of orange that bring the watch to life.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

In addition to the ultra-visibility of this high-performing timepiece, the TAG Heuer teams have also worked on improving the ergonomics, notably by incorporating deeper recesses in the bezel to allow for better grip and to facilitate turning. Extensive work has also been carried out on the sound and sensory aspects of handling the bezel, which was initiated last year with the creation of the Aquaracer Professional 300 collection.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is made entirely from grade 5 titanium, an exceptional material allowing for a finish that is very similar to steel while offering outstanding ergonomics due to its reduced weight. In an exception to the rule, the caseback of the watch is made of steel to keep a good balance and reasonable weight for a professional instrument. It includes the iconic diving helmet motif, which is engraved on all watches in the Aquaracer collection and has been one of the enduring markers of the timepiece for almost 20 years.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

A helium valve has been inserted into the dive watch to enable the gas to escape and damage to be avoided. The helium valve takes a rectangular form on the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver and is finished in a black DLC coating, in harmony with the black-finished crown. It is also engraved with the letters “He”, which stand for helium in the periodic table.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver also meets the most demanding of diving standards. On top of the classic accreditations, the timepiece has received ISO 6425:2018 certification for saturation divers’ watches. ISO 6425:2018 has two levels of certification: a certification for dive watches, which few watches on the market can match, and a certification for saturation diving, which is even more difficult to obtain and is also extremely rare among dive watches.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver also represents another debut for the company in the form of the calibre TH30-00. A new manufacture movement certified COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) and produced to TAG Heuer’s exacting specifications by Kenissi Manufacture SA. It has a power reserve of 70 hours.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver

Kenissi is a Swiss Manufacture for high-performance mechanical movements, founded in 2016 and based at Le Locle. The company produces movements renowned for their durability and quality which are best in class in the Swiss watch industry, with standards that exceed expectations.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver will benefit from an extended international warranty up to five years.

The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver comes with a custom protective case, which is as resistant as the watch, and includes a rescue dive torch. This highly technical, waterproof and crash-proof case features orange details to remain in perfect harmony with the timepiece it accompanies.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

German watchmaker Mühle-Glashütte marks the 20th anniversary of its first sea rescue watch by unveiling a special edition S.A.R. Rescue-Timer.

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer from Mühle-Glashütte celebrates its 20th anniversary at the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS). In February 2002 the first S.A.R. Rescue-Timer were consigned to the foremen of the DGzRS. Since then, this robust timepiece has not only had to prove itself in the arduous everyday life of the sea rescuers on the North Sea and Baltic Sea, but also with sports and sailing enthusiasts.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

The family-owned, nautical timing instrument company celebrates this outstanding achievement with a limited edition in 18 carat gold.

Since 2002, the iconic brand has crafted over 10,000 S.A.R. Rescue-Timers. In addition to the well-known advantages of the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer includes a 4mm thick, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which allows an unclouded view of the extremely legible dial at all times.

This timepiece is equipped with the SW 200-1 Mühle version. Each movement has been elaborately adjusted in six positions, with the in-house rotor and the particularly shock-proof woodpecker neck fine adjustment.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

It 42-millimetre case can withstand an enormous water pressure of up to 100 bar (1,000 meters). It spotlights an exciting mix of materials in the anniversary edition, which is limited to 20 pieces. The middle section of the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer GOLD is made of 18-carat yellow gold.

It contains a very high fine gold content of 70 grams in total. The golden surfaces of the middle part are finely polished, which perfectly underlines the noble character of the exclusive anniversary edition.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

The noble appearance of the case is continued on the matt black dial in gold-plated hands. These are also made in yellow gold, so they have a high contrast to the dial and thus ensure very good readability. They trace their path over indices and orientation triangles, which, unlike the series watch, are coated with pure white luminous material.

The dial is complemented by a golden rehaut and the well-known rubber bezel of the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer. Its basis is a stainless steel core, which is covered with black, shock-absorbing natural rubber.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

The other components of the case are designed to match: not only is the screwed stainless steel case back coated in black PVD (physical vapor deposition), but also the screw-down crown and the four screws on the strap bars. They hold the rubber strap specially made for Mühle-Glashütte securely on the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer GOLD.

The bracelet is closed with a black stainless steel folding clasp including an extension. It is provided with a durable diamond-like carbon coating (DLC), which makes the clasp less sensitive to wear and tear.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer 20th Anniversary Limited Edition in 18-carat Yellow Gold

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer GOLD will be supplied inside a special edition box inspired by the appearance and design of the marine chronometers from Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte.

The cabinet is made of wood. Like the marine chronometer, it has a cover with a viewing window. So the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer GOLD watch can be admired not only at the time you wear but also when you keep it in the case.

BOHEN MILLE-MER

Independent French watchmaker BOHEN presents MILLE-MER, a Swiss made automatic diving watch with a water resistance of 1,000 meters. It will be limited to 500 pieces.

Designed by Blaise-Dominique Giuliani (founder of the brand), this timepiece features a stainless steel case mounted with a 60-clcik, ceramic rotating bezel. On the reverse side, it is secured with a grade-5 titanium case back.

Its domed sapphire crystal glass with inner double AR coating provides the unobstructed view of the dial. A stand-out feature of the BOHEN MILLE-MER watch is its internal date magnifier, which is a world-premiere innovation.

BOHEN MILLE-MER automatic swiss diving watch

Usually, a date magnifier (for example the Rolex Cyclops lens) can only be glued to a flat glass. As the glass used with MILLE-MER is a curved sapphire crystal, BOHEN has developed a patented design. This innovative system features a lens magnifier connected by two bridges placed between the sapphire dome and the date window, without obstructing the movement of hands.

BOHEN MILLE-MER swiss made dive watch 1000 meters

The watch is equipped with the customized Soprod M100 self-winding movement. Displaying hour, minute, seconds and date, BOHEN MILLE-MER has a power reserve of 42 hours. Modified according to the brand’s specifications, the movement carries the Chronofiable A8 chronometric certification by Laboratoire Dubois SA.

Seiko Prospex 1986 Quartz Diver’s 35th Anniversary Limited Edition

In 1986, Seiko launched a diver’s watch that set a new standard. It combined Seiko’s legendary 1975 design with the 1,000 meter water resistance required for saturation diving with a quartz movement that delivered an accuracy that no mechanical diver’s watch could match. At the time, and still today, it was recognized as one of Seiko’s most important diver’s watches. Today, 35 years on, this classic Seiko Diver’s watch is re-born with new design features and upgraded professional diver’s watch specifications.

Seiko Prospex 1986 Quartz Diver's 35th Anniversary Limited Edition

This new watch inherits all the important design features and innovations which made both the 1975 mechanical and the 1986 quartz original so greatly trusted by the professional diving community. It has the 1,000m water resistance and helium resistance that saturation diving requires and incorporates the unique one-piece titanium case with its outer protector structure that makes its shock resistance so exceptional.

It also has the accordion-style strap that ensures that the watch remains tight on the wrist at every depth. The outer protector is made of zirconia ceramic, which is seven times harder than steel, further enhancing its resistance to shock. The strap is now of high grade, strong yet flexible silicone.

Seiko Prospex 1986 Quartz Diver's 35th Anniversary Limited Edition

As a new safety and design feature, the crown is marked with a vivid yellow “Lock” sign and an arrow to indicate the rotating direction. The winding stem is also in yellow so that the wearer can immediately notice if the crown is unlocked. The white hour markers stand out against the dark dial so that they are easy to read at depth.

The watch is offered with extra-strength silicone straps in both black and blue-gray, ensuring wearability both on a wetsuit and directly on the wrist. Each strap features the text “FOR SATURATION DIVING 1000m” in yellow.

Seiko Prospex 1986 Quartz Diver's 35th Anniversary Limited Edition

The watch is equipped with Seiko’s tried and trusted quartz Caliber 7C46 which delivers a high level of torque so that it can move the powerful hands that are wide, robust and Lumibrite-coated for maximum legibility. It also delivers a reassuringly long battery life of 5 years.

This Prospex watch will be available in July 2021 as a limited edition of 1,200 at selected Seiko Boutiques and retail partners worldwide.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

Designed for sea rescue crews, the Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer has been accompanying the maritime rescue workers of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) on their missions since February 2002. One of its jobs is to allow clear time readings during night-time rescue missions. The lighting on sea rescue cruisers is often turned down to an absolute minimum to allow the best possible visibility at sea, but this is no problem at all for the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

With its large hands and indices fully coated in Super LumiNova, the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer shines in the night and allows its wearer to keep a precise record of timings for mission reports, even in pitch-black conditions.

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN features fully illuminate dial that is completely covered in Super LumiNova and provides a perfect backdrop to its skeleton hands with a black coating. The distinctive hands form a strong contrast to the cream-coloured background and also enable wearers to clearly view the date display in the 4 o’clock position.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

The S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN takes readability at night to a whole new level. The more luminous material a watch contains, the easier it is to read in the dark. While most watches only have shining hands and indices, this new model goes one step further, turning the night into day with its entire face coated with Super LumiNova.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

The new S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN is topped with an impressive 4mm-thick scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. These high quality standards continue throughout the solid stainless steel case.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

In addition to its rubber bezel, the case features a screwed-down stainless steel back and a screw-in crown. This enables it to withstand powerful water pressure of up to 100 bars – perfect for a seafaring timepiece.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

Mühle’s popular rubber or stainless strap keeps the 42mm case firmly on its wearer’s wrist. The LUMEN model also offers a new textile strap as a third strap option. This was developed especially for the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN and complements the colour scheme of the watch’s unique face.

Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer LUMEN

The watch houses a reliable Swiss-made automatic movement for precise time measurements. The SW 200-1 Mühle version movement is not only equipped with the efficient Mühle rotor but also features the particularly shockproof woodpecker neck regulation and is therefore regulated in six positions. It is set to ensure accuracy values of between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This precision target forms the heart of Mühle’s own regulation standards, which comply with the German chronometer standard, and helps to ensure that the watch never runs slow.

SINN U1 DS Limited Edition

Limited to 500 pieces, the SINN U1 DS model features a grinded dial with an irregular, decorative pattern. It offers exciting play of colours as the base material on some parts of the dial reflects different nuances of light. Every watch is therefore a unique piece – the impression achieved on the dial during the machining process can never be repeated. The design still allows for perfect readability, thanks to the striking form and minimalist display.

SINN U1 DS Limited Edition

The case and crown of the SINN U1 DS watch are made of high-strength seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel, which enjoys outstanding non-magnetic properties.

SINN U1 DS Limited Edition

Its case surface and the captive diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting have also been hardened with TEGIMENT Technology, leaving them especially scratch-resistant.

SINN U1 DS Limited Edition

Suitable for professional diving, the U1 DS guarantees reliability and precision, even under extreme conditions. The DNV GL has verified and certified the U1 DS’s pressure resistance to a diving depth of 1,000 metres and its temperature resistance and functionality in accordance with the European diving equipment standards.

SINN U1 DS Limited Edition

This 44mm timepiece houses a Swiss made SW 200-1 self-winding movement. The triangle marker of the bezel, all the 12 hour-marking indices on the dial and the hands (hour, minute and second) are embedded with luminescent material for enhanced visibility. The dial also hosts a date window at 3H. The crown is positioned at 4 o’clock to prevent pressure on the back of the hand.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

Swiss watch brand Nivada Grenchen presents the re-edition of its iconic Depthmaster diving timepiece.

Introduced in the 1960s, the Nivada Depthmaster soon became one of the most desired professional diving timepieces, thanks to its impressive water resistance (1,000m), outstanding quality and craftsmanship.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

Presently, this historical dive watches are much sought-after in the vintage watch market. Among them, most notable is the so-called ‘Pac-Man’, with its hour markers resembling the iconic Japanese video game character of the same name.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster PACMAN

The Nivada Grenchen brand, which was recently revived by Guillaume Laidet and Remi Chabrat, has created a re-edition of the Depthmaster with modern standards. The new watch features a solid, cushion-shaped case made of marine grade stainless steel and houses the SW200 self-winding movement. Its case is 39mm in diameter where as the original model’s case measured 38mm.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

The original Depthmaster watch was built to withstand water resistance up to 1,000 meters, which was an impressive technical achievement in the 1960s. The re-edition is also tested for a 100 atm (equivalent to 1,000 meters depth) pressure resistance, Further, it is equipped with an automatic helium escape valve for saturation diving.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

The new Depthmaster watch is topped with a sapphire crystal glass. For the re-edition, the brand is offering two types of dial designs. First is the iconic “Pac-Man” art deco dial without date display. The second design features Arabic numerals for even numbers, rectangular indices for odd numbers and the date display at 3 o’ clock.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

The “Pac-Man” version comes with a black dial. The second style comes with black or green dial color. Both versions are available with the choice of cream or white color hands and indices.

Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster

The Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster watch is presently available with leather strap, tropic strap or stainless steel bracelet.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

French watch brand RALF TECH presents new generation of its WRX watch, an extremely dependable tool watch preferred by both the military and the professional divers.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

Designed in 2008 and developed with the help of the combat swimmers of the French Navy’s Hubert Commando, who are adopting it from 2010, the WRX Hybrid is the first “tool watch” created by RALF TECH.

Since then, this benchmark timepiece collection has been equipping the majority of Special Forces units in France. It is also a preferred tool watch by professional divers and skippers all over the world. Now, after extensive research and development of several years, RALF TECH has created its new generation to tackle more challenging environments.

Always in search of new challenges, RALF TECH has been pursuing since 2019 an intensive campaign of deep sea trials in collaboration with the French Navy in order to test new technical solutions, both in terms of robustness and water-tightness. At the same time, RALF TECH has also been working for several years with its partners on the declination of the famous Hybrid movement in order to give it an unequalled autonomy.

On October 8th, after 2 years of development and experimentation in natural environment, RALF TECH launched a new generation of WRX combining technical modifications and new finishes. These WRX are, among other things, equipped with a new “Electric” movement, new “Sandwich” dials and an innovative encapsulation system guaranteeing a real water-proofness up to 1000 certified meters.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

The watch still maintains its distinctive semi-cushioned shape and its strong taut lines. The new WRX Electric now has new sandwich type dials. Composed of two thicknesses they allow applying a large quantity of SuperLuminova® on a disc placed under the main dial. Thanks to this stencil technique, readability is excellent by day and visibility is exceptional at night. This novelty also adds relief to the dials which gives them a style without equivalent.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

The new WRX Electric is driven by a new type of movement Developed in Switzerland for RALF TECH. This new movement works according to a system of micro hybridization. It combines precision, reliability and energy savings. Built from the mechatronic base of the hybrid movement equipping the previous generations of WRX, the RTE001 movement reduces the number of moving parts and simplifies the quartz power supply as much as possible. Its autonomy can go up to 100,000 hours, i.e. almost 12 years.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

The new generation WRXs come with an innovative “encapsulation” system, which allows the caseback to be sealed to the case, guaranteeing optimal water-resistance. In order to secure the maintenance of WRX watches, only RALF TECH has the specific tool to open and close the case back of new models, thus guaranteeing, revision after revision, the original water-resistance of WRX watches.

Thanks to the new movement and the innovative waterproofing system, minimal maintenance is required for these latest generation WRX watches. For this timepiece, the brand recommends a servicing in every 10 years to check the watch’s energy system, change all the seals and re-capsulate the watch, thus ensuring the peace of mind of WRX users for the next 10 years.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

Thickest scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the market (for a standard watch) with a thickness of 5.9mm, 10mm thick case-band at strategic points, large straps held by anti-tearing threaded rods, Ceramfine bezels for the most extreme, water resistance guaranteed up to 1000 meters for certain finishes, the WRX are intrinsically high-performance tools.

Operating in a range of use from -10° to +55° their resistance to shock and vibration is exceptional. With 12 years of power reserve, their autonomy reaches record levels. Their dials make them ultra legible. These technical characteristics validated by sea trials are the sum of all RALF TECH’s know-how.

RALF TECH WRX Electric

Assembled in France, complementing the Hybrid and Automatic versions, the new WRX should logically become the essential reference for “Tool Watches” for adventure professionals, whether military or civilian. Their performance and design should finally appeal to alternative watch-making enthusiasts. The new WRX will be available in 6 different finishes, 3 of which will be available from October. Retail price is between 1900€ and 2000€ depending on the version.

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

On 3rd October 2020, Germany is celebrating the 30th anniversary of German reunification. To mark this historical event, German specialist watchmaker SINN has created a special edition collection based on its iconic U1 diving watch.

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

The reunification anniversary also marks a historical partnership between two companies of east and west parts of Germany.

Lothar Schmidt, owner of Sinn Spezialuhren, and Doctor of Engineering Ronald Boldt, co-owner and Managing Director of Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH Glashütte (SUG), have continued to develop the partnership established in 1999 between Sinn Spezialuhren and SUG. Lothar Schmidt has held 74% of all SUG shares since the disastrous flood of 2002. Working with Ronald Boldt, he has created an upmarket case manufacturing company, which is now successfully managed primarily by son Daniel Boldt.

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

To mark this special occasion, SINN has designed the watch in Germany’s national colours. The colours black, red and gold, which have always been a symbol of German reunification and are anchored in the constitution as the colours of the flag, go all the way back to the Wars of Liberation (Germany, 1813 – 1815).

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

The black, red and gold flag appeared in its present-day form at the Hambach Festival of 1832 for the first time. Reunification was celebrated with the raising of a black, red and gold flag in front of the Reichstag building in Berlin.

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

This special edition watch has a 44mm diameter German Submarine Steel case with black coating and a captive diver’s bezel with minute ratcheting. Water resistance of this watch is 1000 meters.

SINN U1 DE: The special edition to mark the 30th anniversary of German reunification

The water resistance of this watch was tested based on European diving equipment standards EN 250 / EN14143 and certified by DNV GL. Equipped with a Swiss made SW 200-1 self-winding movement, this diving watch displays hours, minutes, seconds and date.

MING 18.01 H41

The new MING 18.01 H41 is a large and robust timepiece specially designed for dive watch enthusiasts.

In 2019, MING released a well-received run of prototype dive watches called the Abyss Concept. These were true prototypes intended for R&D, and the watch was never released as a production run. The new 18.01 H41 is a production model based on this prototype watch.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

The newly launched 18.01 H41 watch demonstrates the versatility of MING’s new design language. This diving watch is available in two variants with a new universal fit, curved-end, quick release 20mm bracelet that is also backwards compatible with all MING watches to date.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

With a 40mm diameter and 12.9mm thick case made from of grade 5 titanium, the 18.01 H41 is the largest MING to date and has noticeably more wrist presence than the 17 series. It is slightly thinner than the Abyss Concept, thanks to new materials and bezel construction.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

The case design benefits from both balanced pressure loading and the tensile and compressive strength of grade 5 titanium. An added benefit is a head weight of just 65g, which is extremely comfortable on a strap and balanced on the universal bracelet, also in grade 5 titanium.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

The MING team has several certified divers – who made MT’s design task difficult and ensured that the H41 is truly functional as a dive watch. The 18.01 H41 is water resistant up to 1000 meters, making it suitable for professional diving.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

It retains the same functional and security features of the Abyss Concept: a unidirectional rotating bezel with 60 clicks that can be turned easily, but not accidentally; multiple sets of gaskets and seals; and an indicator to warn of an unscrewed crown. Even the caseback has a high-friction surface to better grip arm or wet-suit and prevent the watch moving around.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

Both of H41’s colour schemes were chosen for legibility and contrast: time is instantly and easily legible, with a timer bezel that has scales that are differentiated into 15-minute segments of reducing prominence. The DLC coated solid steel bezel eliminates the risk of losing an insert due to pressure changes or impact, and to maximize contrast for the timing scale. This is only the second MING with a second hand, to fit the diver specification and validate the watch is running at a glance.

There is a significant amount of luminous material applied to ensure visibility under all light conditions: essentially, everything white on the watch is loaded with Super-LumiNova X1; applied as a liquid epoxy to the bezel, a solid block in the hands, and as HyCeram – a sapphire-fused luminous ceramic – on the dial ring.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

The MING 18.01 H41 watch houses an ETA 2824-2 top grade movement, modified to remove the calendar and intermediate hand setting positions.

The watch was created in partnership with La Division du Temps, a subsidiary of Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne for production, assembly and testing. The other partners include DM Surfaces for the HyCeram in the dial; Jean Rousseau for waterproof rubber straps and Studio Koji Sato for the new leather travel pouches.

MING 18.01 H41 automatic diving watch 1000 meters water resistance

The MING 18.01 H41 is assembled in Switzerland and is available in three configurations:
– Two tone on rubber strap, at CHF 2,950
– Two tone on titanium bracelet, at CHF 3,250
– All-DLC on rubber strap, at CHF 3,250

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000

The new C60 Elite GMT 1000 is Christopher Ward’s first true dive watch with GMT functionality. It offers the precision time keeping and technical specifications expected of a premium dive watch combined with the ability to track two different time zones at once.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone functionThe new C60 Elite GMT 1000 is a first from Christopher Ward – introducing a watch with an external countdown bezel as well as an internal 24-hour ring and fourth GMT hand to the Trident range.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone function

The countdown bezel on the outside of the dial is a significant distinction, enabling the C60 Elite GMT 1000 to be classed as a true technical dive watch – rather than a sports watch like previous GMT models.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone function

The C60 Elite GMT 1000 is powered by a chronometer-certified Sellita SW330 movement. Its fourth GMT hand – in conjunction with the flat 24-hour ring around the outside of the shiny lacquer dial – can be set against the time back at home when travelling abroad.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone function

Engineered from lightweight and corrosion-resistant Grade 2 titanium – which has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element – the C60 Elite GMT 1000 is water resistant to 1,000 metres and incorporates an automatic helium release valve into its brushed and polished light-catcher design – to assist with equalisation during ascent from a dive.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone function

Fitted with a 3.8mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal front glass, the watch case measures 42mm diameter and 16mm thickness. The C60 Elite GMT 1000 also features a 3.4mm-thick sapphire crystal case-back to provide the view of the Sellita SW330 movement’s inner workings and its rotor is complete with Christopher Ward’s Anglo-Swiss twin flag pattern.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite GMT 1000 swiss made automatic dive watch with second timezone function

Two different colour options are available – orange and blue (with orange GMT hand) or red and black (with red GMT hand) with a brushed ceramic bezel to gives a more tool-like aesthetic. Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

The new Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 from follows the footsteps of the brand’s 300-piece limited edition C60 Trident Elite 1000 – the fastest selling watch that Christopher Ward has ever made.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

The C60 Elite 1000 shares some specifications of the limited edition C60 Trident Elite 1000 watch like 1,000m water resistance and at the same price starting price of £1,250 – but with five significant improvements.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

The movement has been upgraded to the Sellita SW220 COSC – still of chronometer standard, but with a day date function rather than a simple date.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

A lightweight, quick release titanium bracelet is available for the first time – which at just 133g sets a record as the lightest titanium chronometer Christopher Ward has produced.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch caseback view

It’s the first Trident to feature a grade 2 titanium case with exhibition case back and showcases a rotor engraved with Christopher Ward’s ‘twin flags’ – an emblem of the brand’s Anglo-Swiss roots.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

It now comes in two different colours; the original glossy navy blue with orange highlights, plus a new black dial version with subtle red highlights. The ceramic unidirectional bezel has a matte finish on the black version – evoking a more tool like feel – whereas the gloss finish of the blue version looks dressier.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

Alongside the titanium bracelet, there’s also a hybrid rubber/ Cordura® strap option in black or navy, either with or without a bright underside in red or orange respectively. Thanks to the quick-release technology it’s easy to buy both and simply swap between them.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

Subtle differences between the two models extend beyond the colours on the dial; both share a glossy lacquer dial with indexes and bezels filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1 – the best possible lume Christopher Ward could use.

Christopher Ward C60 Elite 1000 Automatic Dive Watch

The Grade 2 level titanium case is lightweight, yet robust. Titanium has numerous properties that make it perfect for a dive watch – it boasts the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element and is renowned for both its lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties. An in-built automatic helium release valve also assists with equalisation during the ascent from a dive.

Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown watch and Outerknown ECONYL® Yarn NATO Strap Collection

Breitling announces two launches in partnership with Outerknown, the sustainable apparel brand co-founded by surfing legend and Breitling Surfers Squad member Kelly Slater. In addition to the new Superocean Outerknown watch, Breitling introduces the first Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap collection.

The 18 ecologically responsible straps, which will dress up any Breitling watch, are crafted from ECONYL® yarn, a material created from regenerated nylon waste, one source of which is fishing nets from the world’s oceans.

Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown watch and Outerknown ECONYL® Yarn NATO Strap Collection

The brand produces superb underwater performers, but in recent years, it has also underscored its commitment to clean oceans and beaches through its partnerships with Outerknown and the sustainable apparel manufacturer’s co-founder Kelly Slater, who is described as the world’s greatest surfer.

Like Breitling, Outerknown works with the NGO Ocean Conservancy to raise awareness of the problem of marine waste. In 2018, Breitling celebrated the partnerships with its Superocean Heritage Chronograph 44 Outerknown. The brand is offering a new watch inspired by the commitment it shares with Kelly Slater and Outerknown to help clean the world’s oceans and beaches.

The new Superocean Outerknown builds on Breitling’s strong partnership with Outerknown and underscores the two brands’ shared dedication. The Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap collection takes the commitment to a new level. The straps are made of ECONYL® yarn, a material created exclusively from recycled nylon waste. The 18 references make a profound environmental statement and feature six different colors and four different sizes, and come with a buckle in regular stainless steel or DLC-coated stainless steel. These models are as vibrant and stylish as they are ecologically sound.

The Breitling Superocean Outerknown

The Breitling Superocean Outerknown features a 44-millimeter stainless-steel case with a ratcheted unidirectional bezel, a feature that allows divers to time their dives accurately. It has a green dial and central hour, minute, and second hands that, like the numerals and indexes, are coated with SuperLumiNova®, a luminescent material that makes them easily readable in any lighting conditions.

The Superocean Outerknown is presented on a khaki green Outerknown NATO strap made of ECONYL® yarn – an innovative material created from nylon waste, recovered among others from the ocean – one source of which is fishing nets from oceans around the world.

Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Outerknown watch

The Superocean Outerknown is powered by a Breitling Caliber 17, which offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The COSC-certified chronometer is water resistant to 100 bar/1000 meters. The watch’s screwed stainless-steel caseback is engraved with the Outerknown logo.

The Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap collection, created in cooperation with Outerknown, is fresh, vibrant, and colorful, and, while the straps were designed specifically for the new Superocean collection, they can be paired with any Breitling watch.

Each of the 18 references is made of ECONYL® yarn, created exclusively from recycled nylon waste. They are available in six colors: blue with dark blue stripes and lining, light blue with dark blue stripes and lining, yellow with orange stripes and lining, gray with black stripes and lining, red with black stripes and lining, and green with black stripes and lining.

Their buckles and keepers are available in two finishes: stainless steel and black DLC-coated stainless steel. And, with four different size options ranging from 18 mm to 24 mm, there is an Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap perfectly suited to every Breitling watch.

The Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO straps will be available exclusively through Breitling’s authorized e-commerce platforms, where customers can first configure a Breitling watch with one of the innovative, environmentally responsible new straps before deciding to purchase it.

Christopher Ward Trident 3 Collection – The C60 Trident Pro 600, the C60 Trident GMT 600 and the C60 Trident Titanium Elite 1000

Redesigned and upgraded, the new Trident 3 collection celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Christopher Ward’s iconic Trident dive watch series. On 1st May 2019, Christopher Ward launched three all-new Trident 3s: the C60 Trident Pro 600, the C60 Trident GMT 600 and the C60 Trident Titanium Elite 1000. The new Trident 3 collection elevates the series through distinctive design, exceptional quality materials and keen detailing. The evolution from Mk 2 to Mk 3 is demonstrated in every detail of the new collection.

Special Features

Detailed and Distinctive Hands: The new Trident 3 collection features a bold and directional triangular hour hand, with hand-brushed and polished facets, created to within extremely small tolerances, to increase legibility in low light conditions.

New Sizes: The new C60 Trident Pro 600 will be available in 38mm and 42mm (slightly reduced in diameter from the Mk 2’s 43mm width) and will also debut a new 40mm size in its black dial, black bezel configuration.

Bezel Clicks: Trident 3’s enhanced quality can be felt and heard as well as seen. The CW Product Design team checked the action and ‘click’ of every dive watch bezel on the market and used their insights to work closely with the brand’s engineers and case manufacturer, ensuring that the Mk 3’s bezel would have a more satisfying, responsive click.

Polished Dial: Trident 3 uses a high contrast, smooth polished dial in place of the guilloche wave patterned dial of the Trident 2 series. A small but clever tweak, this improvement significantly enhances legibility.

‘Light-Catcher’ Case: The case for the Trident 3 collection has been completely transformed using Christopher Ward’s signature ‘light -catcher’ lines with multiple brushed and polished facets, creating a slimmer profile with clean sides that play on light.

Re-Engineered Crown: The internal threading of the crown has been enhanced so that winding and engaging Trident 3’s functions is delightfully smooth.

Quick-release steel bracelet: Trident 3 will be available on a redesigned fully-brushed stainless steel bracelet, which for the very first time features a quick-release mechanism first introduced on the brand’s range of leather straps.

Hybrid Strap: Trident 3 also sees the launch of a new Hybrid sport strap, crafted from fully waterproof Cordura® and premium FKM rubber.

Trident Emblem: The signature trident counterbalance and deep-stamped backplate have been updated with a newly-designed trident emblem, which is masculine and more aggressive looking than before. The Mk 3’s backplate has also been redesigned with a diving regulator-inspired opening mechanism.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600

The new C60 Trident Pro 600 is a direct update of Christopher Ward’s long-time best selling watch. Combining modern looks with the robust levels of build quality that’ll see it water resistant to depths of 600m, the new Pro 600 builds upon an already classic foundation by introducing a host of new features.

Now utilising the series’ new design, the Pro 600’s marine -grade stainless steel case protects a Swiss-made Sellita SW200 movement. As well as technical upgrades, the Pro 600’s dial has also undergone a facelift, with Christopher Ward’s twin flag logo at 12 o’clock.

To increase legibility, the guilloche dial of old has been replaced by a polished finish, while its indexes now use faceted and polished detailing.

The new C60 Trident Pro 600 will be available in 38mm and 42mm and will also debut a new 40mm size in its black dial, black bezel configuration.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident GMT 600

A watch for divers and travellers alike, the new GMT shares many of the same features as the C60 Trident Pro 600, such as its water resistance to depths of 600m, and the ETA 2893-2 automatic movement allows its wearer to monitor the time in up to three zones at once when used in combination with the strikingly coloured GMT hand and 24-hour unidirectional full-lume bezel.

The predecessor to the new C60 Trident GMT 600 featured a hybrid bezel that incorporated both a countdown track for its first 15 minutes and 24-hour numerals for the remainder.

The new Trident 3 version dispenses with the countdown track, instead offering a full 24-hour GMT bezel, with numerals filled with Grade X1 GL C1 SuperLumiNova®.
