Chronode SA is a Le Locle (Switzerland) based company specialized in developing and manufacturing haute-horlogerie creations, movements and components.

Chronode was founded in April of 2005 by Jean-François Mojon. The firm rose to fame when Harry Winston presented the Opus X, a watch based on Mr. Mojon’s concepts. To this day, the company has indeed completed more than 100 specific projects for about thirty different clients.

As an independent company, Chronode employs about 25 specialised artisans able to manufacture diverse and innovative products. The human aspect of the business is reinforced by a project focused, horizontal management structure, ensuring strong ties between an artisan and the project, as well as reactivity and implication.

Furthermore, the highest standards of quality control are a much-appreciated aspect of Chronode’s functioning, and are rooted in the drive to produce the very best watches.

Different clients have different needs. Thus, Chronode prides itself with the ability to respond to very distinct needs, while offering its own innovative ideas, adapted to the clients’ specifications.

May it be tailoring a product to client specification, or the realisation of internal planning to offer the customer a pro-active approach to designing his product, the development process conceptualised and perfected by Chronode can be summarised in two key values: innovation and reliability.

The company offers following services:

  • Conception of calibre (large selection of clockworks)
  • Conception and production (including decorative elements), as well as assembly
  • Conception, production, assembly of completed timepiece

Chronode principally develops dedicated and exclusively elaborated projects. Within the diverse offer of services, any and all combinations are possible. From the functional specifications of customer service, prototyping, logistics, production, to the assembly and delivery of the finished product (complete watch or calibre), the Manufacture is able to satisfy every request.

Reliability is at the core of all products conceptualised and manufactured by Chronode, and is a direct consequence of exacting mastery of internal quality control tools.
