AKRIVIA WATCHES

Founded in 2012, AkriviA produces innovative haute horlogerie timepieces. Based in Geneva, AkriviA was founded by Rexhep Rexhepi, a young master watchmaker based in the famed watchmaking capital.

AkriviA watches are Swiss made and above all they embody traditional watchmaking values. The pioneering work of the brand is accomplished by constantly keeping alive timeless watchmaking techniques in order to create bridges between past and present and thus be able to provide a combination of extreme technical mastery and high-end finishing.

Born in 1987 in Kosovo, Rexhep Rexhepi moved to Geneva in 1998 to explore the opportunities in the fine watchmaking arena. It was during his apprenticeship at Patek Philippe at the age of 14 that he first felt an intense desire to express a personal philosophy of watchmaking with an approach that would push the boundaries of execution and mechanism to new levels.

Before founding hid own watch brand, Rexhep Rexhepi had worked with premium horology firms like BNB Concept and F.P Journe. Founded in 2012, AkriviA unites the heritage of the Geneva watchmaking traditions with a contemporary approach that interprets timekeeping for the 21st century.

In 2013, the young watchmaker launched his debut timepiece, the AkriviA AK 01 Tourbillon Monopusher Chronograph. In 2018, the brand showcased its creations at the Basel-world jewellery and watch fair. In the same year, Atelier Akrivia won the Men’s Watch Prize for its REXHEP REXHEPI Chronomètre Contemporain watch in the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève event.

In 2019, the brand signed a partnership with legendary case maker Jean-Pierre Hagmann. In the GPHG 2022 competition, its Chronomètre Contemporain II model emerged as the winner in the Men’s Watch category.

The young and independent atelier offers two flagship collections: AKRIVIA and REXHEP REXHEPI.

The prominent AKRIVIA watch models are the Tourbillon Chronograph Monopusher AK 01, the Tourbillon Heure Minute AK 02, the Tourbillon Regulator AK 04, the Tourbillon Barrette Miroir AK 05, the Tourbillon Chiming Jump Hour AK 03, AK 06 and the Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain.

The brand belongs to high luxury segment. The approximate AKRIVIA watch retail price range is $50,000 to $300,000. It is worth to mention that a unique piece of AKRIVIA Chronomètre Contemporain II RRCCII in platinum – created for the Only Watch 2021 Charity event – was auctioned for a whopping CHF 800,000 ($864,920).
