Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 41mm New Models in White Gold with Smoked Blue Dial
Audemars Piguet has launched two special 41mm Royal Oak editions: Selfwinding and Selfwinding Chronograph models, crafted in 18-carat white gold, feature a smoked blue “Grande Tapisserie” dial.
The chronograph version displays three snailed counters, in the same blue tone, at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The two timepieces are enriched with white gold hour-markers and hands, filled with luminescent material to enhance legibility in the dark, offering a subtle contrast with the deep hue of the dial.
While the Royal Oak Selfwinding houses Calibre 4302, the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph is powered bythe Calibre 4401, which is equipped with a flyback function ideal for taking several new measurements in a row.
Both movements have a 70-hour power reserve and an openworked 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight. First launched in Japan, these special editions will then be made available to the rest of the world.
