Limited to 300 pieces, the new DAVOSA Newton Pilot Chronograph fuses uncompromising precision with striking robustness and iconic pilot codes: from the triangle marker at 12 o’clock and the grippy crown—intuitively operable even with gloves—to the tachymeter scale on the rehaut.
The 42 mm stainless steel case with domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal pairs bold presence with uncompromising function. Alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces are executed with precision; the conical, deeply knurled crown bears the DAVOSA wind rose.
Polished chronograph pushers are set within satin-finished guides for crisp tactility and lasting durability. The ergonomic case architecture ensures outstanding comfort on the wrist—whether on the classic calf leather strap with light contrast stitching or the robust five-link PentaLink stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp and push-button release.
The deep black dial with fine sunburst guilloché, contrasting subdials, and precise minute track echoes historical cockpit instruments with modern restraint.
For outstanding legibility day and night, the hands as well as the raised, hand-applied Arabic numerals and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW09. Its bluish glow is especially easy on the eyes in the dark and enables instant time reading — complemented by the signature triangle marker at 12 o’clock and the tachymeter scale on the rehaut.
Inside beats the finely finished DAV 3052 calibre based on the proven SW510, offering a power reserve of around 60 hours. The four-screw exhibition caseback reveals the fully skeletonized, gun-coated rotor made of BEYOND STEEL®.
In addition to precise chronograph operation, the movement features a date display and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Speeds can be measured accurately via the tachymeter scale on the rehaut, while red accents underscore the instrument character.
