Credor Locomotive with Green Dial, Reference GCCR997
Japanese luxury watch brand Credor presents a new green dial version of the Locomotive re-issue model.
In 2024, Seiko Watch Corporation revived the Gérald Genta-designed Locomotive watch in a commemorative limited edition (reference GCCR999) to mark the 50th anniversary of Credor. Now the brand welcomes a new Locomotive model, the reference GCCR997.
This new version has a striking green dial, inspired by the green signal light in train systems.
The intricate hexagon geometric pattern of the dial is a nod to the watch’s signature hexagonal case and bezel. Each hexagon incorporates a striped pattern that alternates in different directions, creating an effect in which the colors shimmer as light interacts with the dial’s surface.
The case and bracelet of the Credor Locomotive GCCR997 are crafted from high-intensity titanium. Like the 2024 creation, the hexagonal motif is prominently featured throughout the design, from the case and bezel to the crown and even the bezel screws. The case and bezel feature alternating brushed and mirror finishing across their surfaces, enhancing the beauty and appeal of the overall design.
The watch is powered by Caliber CR01, an automatic movement exclusive to Credor. Thanks to the smoothly rounded links, the bracelet combines refined aesthetics with remarkable comfort.
The bracelet retains its distinctive taper and hexagonal intermediary links, complemented by a blend of hand-brushed and mirror-polished finishes that flow seamlessly from the case to the clasp. The narrow edges of the bracelet feature a mirror polish.
The Credor Locomotive watch with green dial will be available worldwide starting in May 2025.
