AVI-8 Hawker Hunter Atlas GMT Automatic
AVI-8 expands its Hawker Hunter watch collection by introducing the new Atlas GMT Automatic model.
Equipped with the NH34 Japanese GMT automatic movement, this stainless steel timepiece features a 12-sided case measuring 44mm in diameter.
AVI-8’s Hawker Hunter watches are inspired by the cockpit of the iconic British fighter aircraft developed by Hawker Aircraft for the Royal Air Force (RAF) during the late 1940s and early 1950s. The new Atlas GMT version extends this collection.
The Hawker Hunter Atlas GMT watch has four centrally placed hands for indicating the hour, minute, seconds of the local time-zone and the hour of a second time-zone. It also has a unidirectional turning bezel with dual-toned 24-H aluminium bezel-insert, enabling the user to track a third time-zone. At 6H, the dial displays the date through an aperture.
This traveller’s watch is available in Devil Black, Mist Grey, Earth Blue, Orangish Red, Retro Blue and Amazon Green dial versions.
The hands as well as the hour-markers on the dial and bezel employ luminescent coating, offering green or blue glow depending upon the pigment used.
Other features include mineral crystal front glass and exhibition case-back, stainless steel pull-out crown, leather strap and 50 meter water-resistance.
The suggested retail price of the Hawker Hunter Atlas GMT Automatic watch is $345 USD.
