MING 37.08 Starlight
A new addition to the 37.08 series, the MING 37.08 Starlight features a polished Aventurine stone dial inspired a clear night sky, with subtly sparkling stars over a deep blue-black base.
It continues the theme of fun elemental watches started by the 37.08 Sand last year. Being a polished dial, an additional sapphire layer is not required for the watch to deliver the signature inversion under certain angles of light.
The hands of the 37.08 Starlight are anthracite coated and feature our new lume process. A new Super-LumiNova X1 formulation applied in multiple printing passes increases both homogeneity and longevity of glow.
At 38×10.9mm, it retains the now familiar 37-series case in stainless steel, and includes the narrow bezel and brushed-polished case finish that makes the watch visually larger and thinner than dimensions suggest, whilst remaining pleasantly comfortable on the wrist.
Powering the watch is the hand-winding Sellita SW210.M1 customized with skeletonized rhodium bridges and a dark matte anthracite base.
The watch comes with MING’s 20mm second generation universal bracelet. It features sculpted leaf links, quick release, hidden double butterfly clasp, and is also compatible with any other 20mm-lug width MING timepiece.
The MING 37.08 Starlight is priced at CHF 4,500 in a series of 300 watches exclusively available at http://www.ming.watch. Orders open at 1PM GMT on 28 June 2024. A 50% deposit is due at the time of order, with the balance on delivery – which is expected to start in four weeks.
