Independent Swiss watch brand RAYMOND WEIL presents the 2023 freelancer diver collection, offering reliable water-sports watches inspired by the captivating sport of Wing Foil.
To celebrate this new launch, RAYMOND WEIL has partnered with Titouan Galea, three-time Wing Foil world champion. Through this collaboration, the brand explored the champion’s world, his remarkable skills and the mindset that propelled him to success.
Drawing inspiration from Titouan Galea and from the high-tech foils and wings used by champions in Wing Foil riding, the new freelancer diver collection perfectly encapsulates the values of this exhilarating sport while upholding RAYMOND WEIL’s timeless craftsmanship.
Inside it beats the Swiss-made Calibre RW4200 movement, delivering precision and offering a 38-hour power reserve.
Thanks to the robust case design and a screw-down crown, these diving watches guarantee water resistance of up to 300 meters.
The captivating gradient dials of all four versions transition from a darker hue at 6 o’clock to a lighter tone above, significantly enhancing visibility underwater and in low-light conditions. Super-LumiNova® accents on the hands and indexes further improve legibility.
At the same time, the two-tone models tastefully highlight the watch’s secondary colour through their hands and hour markers, adding an exquisite touch of sophistication.
The ingenious redesign of the date window, taking the form of a water drop and accompanied by a custom typeface, creates a symmetrical aesthetic.
Encased in a sleek 42.5mm stainless steel case, all models feature a redesigned bezel with a Super-LumiNova® dot at 12 o’clock, providing a classic dive watch look with enhanced readability.
The full steel version of the freelancer diver is available with a 5-row stainless steel bracelet or a pierced rubber strap, while the two-tone models exclusively offer a 5-row stainless steel bracelet.
Additionally, the screw-down engraved case-back, with a water landscape illustration paying tribute to freedom felt at sea, symbolises RAYMOND WEIL’s core value of independence.
