Casio has announced the launch of the new G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-B1000 model. To be released 13th October 2023, this dust-proof and mud-proof watch with metal exterior parts is available in three versions.
Known for its reliability and robustness, the G-SHOCK Master of G Series MUDMASTER has been designed for environments where dirt and debris accumulate.
The new Casio G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-B1000 watch uses a sturdy metal exterior and has a rugged design that stands out with its polyhedral form while maintaining its impact resistance.
In order to protect the windshield, which is susceptible to impacts, the protector parts on the 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock sides are made of metal treated with DLC to improve wear resistance. It was manufactured using a lengthy process of forging the bezel into the shape and then carving out the guard parts, creating a complex shape made of metal.
The guard parts of the front buttons use MIM (metal injection molding) processing, making it possible to create a precise shape.
The Casio G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-B1000 is equipped with a triple sensor that can measure direction, barometric pressure/altitude, and temperature, as well as a smartphone link function for the first time as a radio solar compatible model.
It works with a dedicated app, and is equipped with a location indicator with a small hand on the in-dial that points in the direction of the location recorded with the app, and a mission log that allows you to check your activity history on the app.
Secured with a stainless steel case-back, the Casio G-SHOCK MUDMASTER GWG-B1000 watch is water-resistant up to 200 meters.
