Swiss watch brand DELMA presents Blue Shark IV, the latest evolution of its professional-grade diving timepieces collection.
With a whopping water-resistance up to 5,000 meters, the fourth iteration of DELMA’s renowned deep-sea diver embraces the coveted Blue Shark design while integrating elevated durability and subtle enhancements.
Launched in 2011, the Santiago Blue Shark I with 3,000m water-resistance laid the foundation for DELMA’s deep diving watch family.
The future generations would not only dive deeper, limited-editions also introduced a philanthropic component. Launched in 2016, the Blue Shark II 3,000m diver introduced subtle refinements with a focus on strength.
In 2019, DELMA launched the Blue Shark III with a water-resistance of 4,000 meters. A limited edition based on this model, the Blue Shark III Azores was released in 2021 to support research initiatives in its namesake archipelago which contribute to conservation of endangered sharks.
The newly launched Blue Shark IV is Delma’s most powerful Blue Shark. Both robust and sporty, this exceptional deep diving instrument possesses the collection’s distinctive style.
Measuring 47mm in diameter, the massive and solidly built stainless steel case features a helium escape valve at 9 o’clock and screw down crown at 3 o’clock.
The unidirectional, easy to grip bezel is refined to complement the new 20 mm case height. Bold numerals, indexes and hands are accentuated with Super-LumiNova for clear legibility in the depths of the sea.
The Blue Shark IV is available with the collection’s signature blue, black and orange dials. Custom security screws and bespoke tools enable easy and reliable adjustment of the interchangeable solid stainless-steel bracelet and genuine rubber strap.
Set in a customized wooden box, the Blue Shark IV celebrates the mystery of the sea and is prepared for what lies ahead.
The Blue Shark IV is available in all stainless-steel and black DLC coated bezel with each variation limited to 999 pieces.
