Mido Baroncelli Chronograph Moonphase with Blue Dial

Swiss watch brand Mido expands its Baroncelli collection by introducing the new Chronograph Moonphase model enhanced with electrifying shades of blue.

The new Mido Baroncelli Chronograph Moonphase automatic watch comes with an alluring blue sunray satin finish dial.

The date is indicated on the flange by a central hand ending in a varnished blue crescent. At 12H, the watch features two windows on a counter with turquoise accents for displaying the day and month.

Rounding off the triple calendar complication is a moonphase display at 6 o’clock, where a moon and golden stars traverse a deep azure sky.

This exceptional timepiece also offers chronograph function. The time is measured by a central seconds hand, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter. A third counter completes the display with a small seconds and the hours in a 24-hour format.

To enhance elegance and contrast, all of the display elements stand out in silver: the edges of the counters, the markings, the faceted indexes and the diamond-polished and sand-blasted hands. A sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating on both faces, ensures perfect readability.

This 42 mm-diameter polished steel case is water-resistant up to a pressure of 3 bar (30 m/100 ft). Two polished push-buttons on the flanks are used to operate the chronograph as desired.

The transparent sapphire case back reveals the painstakingly decorated components of the Calibre 60. In addition to basic timekeeping, it displays the calendar, moonphase and chronograph complications. This self-winding calibre offers a power reserve of up to 60 hours.

This Swiss made automatic movement is remarkably accurate thanks to its high-tech balance -spring in Nivachron™, an innovative material that helps to reduce the impact of magnetic fields while offering shock-resistance.
