Swiss watch brand Formex has launched the Essence Splash Chronometer Limited Collection, featuring a series of vibrant dials that perfectly balance pastels and neon hues.
Hand-sprayed in Formex’s own dial manufacture in the Swiss Jura mountains, they come with the collection’s distinctive horizontal lines, each CNC-machined individually.
These timepieces are available in two versions: the Essence 39 mm Automatic Chronometer stainless steel case and the ultra-lightweight Essence 43 mm Leggera carbon and ceramic case. Both feature Formex’s patented Case Suspension for enhanced comfort and a Deployant clasp for effortless strap adjustments. The Splash collection offers Sunflower Yellow, Jungle Green, Sunset Orange, Baby Blue and Lavender Purple dial versions.
Each dial boasts the Essence collection’s distinctive horizontal lines, meticulously CNC-machined into the dial base one by one. To achieve the unique grainy and ultra-matte finish, the colors are skillfully hand-sprayed.
Contrasting gun-metal finished hour markers and hands enhance legibility and make a bold statement against the vivid backdrop of the dials. At the 6 o’clock position, the date window exhibits its signature slope, flawlessly integrated with a perfectly color-matched date wheel.
The new Splash collection is launched in limited production quantity in both the Essence 39 mm Automatic Chronometer stainless steel case, and the ultra-lightweight Essence 43 mm Leggera carbon and ceramic case.
Both versions feature Formex’s patented Case Suspension, a unique system with four integrated springs that adapt to the wearer wrist movement to noticeably enhance comfort.
Formex’s patented deployant clasp enables the wearer to effortlessly and gradually adjust the leather, nylon, and rubber straps over 7 mm while wearing the watch, ensuring a comfortable fit that accommodates variations in wrist size caused by activity and climate.
The highly articulated stainless steel bracelet features a fully integrated butterfly clasp with a hidden micro-extension of 4 mm. All straps can be changed without the use of any tools.
These timepieces house the Swiss Made Sellita SW-200 automatic movement, ensuring both accuracy and reliability. Certified by COSC, this chronometer offers a power reserve of 41 hours. It’s beautifully decorated with perlage on the bridges and thermally blued screws on the movement and the custom-made rotor.
The Formex Essence Splash Chronometer collection is now available starting at USD 1,480.00 in the 39 mm steel version and USD 1,640.00 for the 43 mm Leggera version at the Formex Online Boutique.
