SPEAKE MARIN announces its participation in the 2023 edition of the Only Watch charity auction. Supporting the event for the fourth time in a row, the independent House of Haute Horlogerie presents a specifically created watch, the RIPPLES BLEU ROYAL.
Designed by Stéphane Lacroix, the Ripples collection represents a significant turning point in the history of independent luxury watch brand that loves to push boundaries and explore new horizons.
For the Only Watch 2023 edition, SPEAKE MARIN has carefully chosen an exclusive case, colour, and movement to create the RIPPLES BLEU ROYAL.
For the very first time in its history, Speake Marin highlights the iconic color of its brand into the dial of this exclusive creation; a vibrant and hopeful blue.
The intense royal blue was achieved in two steps, with the first being a rhodium plated galvanic under layer to intensify light reflection, followed by the application of color through a PVD treatment. The undulating patterns on the dial symbolize this ocean of hope.
The RIPPLES BLEU ROYAL watch houses the calibre SMA03-T20, which was created exclusively for the Ripples 20th Anniversary timepiece. This movement proudly features finishes and decorations that showcase the craftsmanship of the prestigious workshop, “Le Cercle des Horlogers.”
A sapphire crystal on the case back offers the view of movement parts, along with the unique Only Watch 2023 engraving skilfully crafted by the hand of the talented engraver Boris Nemitz.
