Swiss watch brand Certina has released a totally black variant of its DS Action Diver 43mm model.
Fitted on a dark fabric strap, the 43mm diameter black PVD stainless steel case is mounted with a rotating bezel with matt black ceramic inlay.
Dressed completely in black, this new model has a charming radiance. This is due in no small part to a generous coating of Super-LumiNova® on the hands and indexes, as well as on the markings of the unidirectional rotating bezel.
The bezel’s matt black ceramic ring serves as a perfect background for the dive time scale, whose numerals have an added touch of lacquer. A PVD coating gives the 43-mmstainless steel case its perfectly matched black colour.
The watch comes with a NATO-look black fabric wristband made from #tide ocean material®, made using plastic fished from the ocean. This strap has a pin buckle closure with black PVD coating.
The DS Action Diver meets the demanding requirements of a true diver’s watch as per ISO standard 6425.
Key dive watch features include the unidirectional rotating bezel, the screw-down and protected crown, and the screw-in case back. Together with Certina’s proven DS (Double Security) concept, the watch offers exceptional water resistance up to 300 metres.
The all-black DS Action Diver watch houses a state-of-the-art Powermatic 80 movement with automatic winding and up to 80 hours of power reserve. Its innovative NivachronTM hairspring protects the watch against magnetic fields.
Retailing at CHF 895 in Switzerland, the new DS Action Diver in black is now available from all authorized Certina retailers.
