Weiss Watch Company presents new Agave dial version of its Standard Issue Field model in stainless steel.
As the name suggests, this new timepiece comes with a dial inspired by the colour of Blue Agave, the plant used as base ingredient of the popular Mexican beverage Tequila.
Measuring 42mm in diameter, the in-house machined case features a high polished bezel and brushed polished surface.
A flagship timepiece from Weiss, the 42mm Standard Issue Field was first launched in 2013. It houses a hand-finished and assembled manual-wound mechanical calibre 1001-2 (6498 base). Visible through the sapphire crystal case-back and beating at 18,000 vph, this movement offers approximately 46 hour power reserve.
The machined naval brass dial is hand-painted for maximum legibility. The Arabic numerals and the centrally-placed hour and minute hands are enhanced with a white luminous painting that glows blue in the dark. It also features a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock.
Paired with a Tan Horween leather strap, the Weiss 42mm Blue Agave watch is available in a limited edition of just 20 pieces.
