This timepiece commemorates the 60th anniversary of this iconic Seagull 1963 chronograph. Dedicated to the lovers of historically important timepieces, this new Red Star chronograph model comes with a 38mm diameter bronze case and sapphire crystal glass.
Limited to 750 pieces, the 60th Anniversary model of the iconic Chinese Air Force Pilot Chronograph boasts a refined design and the upgraded ST1901 movement with a swan neck regulator.
The fully polished bronze case has a thickness of 13mm and a lug-to-lug length of 45mm. Beating inside, the 21-jewel Seagull ST1901 manual-winding mechanical column-wheel chronograph movement is decorated features blue screws. Visible through the exhibition case-back, it offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
The Red Star Seagull 1963 Chronograph 60th Anniversary Edition comes with the emblematic cream dial, enhanced with rose gold toned numerals and indexes. Boasting the classic two-counter dial design, the dial features a small-seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph register at 3 o’clock.
This model comes with a red chronograph centre-seconds hand, and four blue hands for the hour, minute, small seconds and chronograph 30 minutes.
The dial of Seagull 1963 Chronograph 60th Anniversary watch can be easily distinguished by the additional Chinese characters ‘Yi jia Zhi’ (一甲子), meaning ’60th year’.
The case made of bronze will develop a unique patina over time, making each watch completely unique. Secured with a steel caseback framing the exhibition glass, the watch is water-resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters). The case-back also has the limited edition number.
