Austin (Texas) based watch brand DuFrane presents GMT, the first model from its new line of Swiss Made timepieces.
All the watches from the newly announced DuFrane Swiss Collection will be made and assembled in Switzerland. Still solely designed by the brand’s founder, the new GMT is the first DuFrane model to wear the Swiss Made badge.
The Swiss Made GMT watch features a classic 39mm diameter case in 316L stainless steel case. This new timepiece is available in two dial versions. Named Shimmer Black, the first model features a black dial with a matching colour bezel and stainless steel bracelet.
The second version takes inspiration from the Texas state flag. It has blue dial, black bezel, and blue leather strap.
Both models display the date at 6 o’clock. They feature Arabic numerals and four centrally placed hands for indicating the hours, minutes, seconds, and an additional time-zone. The bezel has 24-H graduations to track 24-H or a supplementary time-zone.
All the hands, numerals and the pip marking 24-H on the bezel feature Swiss C3 luminescent application for enhanced night time visibility.
Visible through the sapphire crystal case-back is the Swiss Sellita SW330-1 automatic mechanical movement (Elaboré grade), which offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
