Casio presents the new G-SHOCK Frogman MRG-BF1000E, a shock-resistant diver’s watch with metal specifications that shines in yellow, as a special limited model associated with the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK and the 30th anniversary of FROGMAN. It will be released in a limited edition of 700 pieces worldwide.
This year, Casio “G-SHOCK” celebrated its 40th anniversary. Similarly, the FROGMAN shock-resistant diver’s watch, which is popular for its asymmetrical form, is also actively developing as it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. In April, Model MRG-BF1000R, which realized its unique form with titanium material, was released as part of the MR-G G-SHOCK series.
The “MRG-BF1000E” introduced this time is based on the “MRG-BF1000R”, and adopts yellow everywhere that is reminiscent of the first color model of “FROGMAN”. It is a shock-resistant diver’s watch with metal specifications finished in a design suitable for a double anniversary.
In addition to adopting bright yellow for the band and time characters, gold IP is applied to the crown, buttons, and screws, and gold vapor deposition is applied to the back cover. For the replacement metal band that comes with the product, each piece is deep-hardened and DLC-coated for excellent wear resistance.
This new model comes in a special wooden package with the 40th anniversary of “G-SHOCK” and the 30th anniversary of “FROGMAN” badges.
