After successfully completing their Kickstarter crowd-funding project of its FIXI-T1 model, Surrey (England) based ADLEY Watch Company has launched an Indiegogo InDemand campaign to offer the same product.
Robust yet refined, Adley FIXI-T1 is a mechanical watch inspired by British hand-made fixed-gear cycle. Its cycling inspiration is prominently visible on the dial design that finds inspiration in a British hand-built fixed-gear cycle.
The signature central chain ring design & styling of watch hands lend a sporting touch reminiscent of the feeling of pedalling. The unique dial colours are the same tone as cycle frame and provide a clean backdrop. The applied index hour-markers have been kept to a minimum width to echo the components on a bicycle wheel.
To ensure the dial visibility in the darkness, the indexes, hour and minute hands are filled with two layers of Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9.
The FIXI-T1 watch is topped with a scratch-resistant, double-domed sapphire crystal with two layers of anti-reflective coating. This timepiece is water resistant up to 100 meters. The screwed down case-back ensures maximum water tightness.
The unique arched profile of FIXI-T1 takes inspiration from the wheel frame of the fixed-gear cycle. The polished 316L stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter (excluding the crown).
The crown with an 8-sided nut ring design has been relocated to 12 o’clock to allow unrestricted wrist movement. Providing a visual balance, a smaller decorative crown at six o’clock carries the watch’s serial number.
The Adley FIXI-T1 watch houses the Seiko NH35 automatic movement with hacking function. This Japanese self-winding mechanical movement offers a 41-hour power reserve.
The brand is offering two strap choices for this model: FKM Rubber and genuine leather.
The approximate Indiegogo InDemand selling price of Adley FIXI-T1 is £228 GBP. Estimated shipping: June 2023.
