Panerai expands its Radiomir collection with a brand-new annual calendar watch. Available in two case versions – Goldtech™ and Platinumtech™ – this timepiece houses a newly developed in-house mechanical self-winding movement, the Calibre P.9010/AC.
Developed specifically for the Radiomir collection it is the first annual calendar complication of Panerai. This 40 jewel movement comes with an impressive power reserve of 3 days.
Just like all Panerai watches, the Radiomir Annual Calendar stands out with its exceptionally clear and legible dial. Date is displayed at 3 o’clock with the day & the date through two dials openings. The current month is displayed on an external moving disc, indicated by a fix arrow at 3 o’clock.
Every month change, a cam in the movement allows the turning disc in one go, making the information change instantaneously. Moreover, change from 30-day and 31-day months is done automatically by the mechanism. A setting must be done only once a year, at the end of February. After setting the month and the date, a corrector on the left side of the case allows to change the day click by click.
The new 45mm timepiece comes with emblematic Radiomir details such as cushion-shaped case, gradient sun-brushed sandwich dial filled with Super-Luminova®, and cone-shaped crown. A sapphire crystal open-back case showcases the annual-calendar movement.
On the sandwich dial, the months, days, and the name of the complication, Calendario Annuale, are written in Italian.
Panerai Radiomir Annual Calendar References PAM01363 and PAM01432
The brand is presently offering two versions of the Radiomir Annual Calendar watch: PAM01363 and PAM01432.
The first model with reference number PAM01363 features a Goldtech™ case. It comes with a sun-brushed blue shaded dial and a blue hand-dyed matt alligator strap.
A gold material developed for the first time by Panerai, Goldtech™ is a combination of platinum and copper. It boasts an intense red appearance.
The second model PAM01432 (also known as the Experience edition) is available in a limited edition of just 24 pieces.
The Experience edition features a Platinumtech™ case, a sun-brushed burgundy shaded dial, and a black hand-dyed matte alligator strap.
Every owner of this timepiece will be invited to participate in an extraordinary journey into the secrets of the Eternal City, Rome. The experience will immerse participants in the essence of the brand through events that combine artisanal know-how, culture and tours of historical sites.
Both models feature Panerai’s adjustable BDR buckle – PAM01363 buckle in Panerai Goldtech™ and PAM01432 in white gold. The Annual Calendar collection is a boutique exclusive.
