Louis Erard presents Excellence Marqueterie, a limited edition watch created in collaboration with Bastien Chevalier, an independent artisan based in Sainte-Croix. Limited to 99 pieces, this new model features a métiers d’art marquetry dial.

Boasting an eye-catching and playful checkerboard design, each dial is handmade by Bastien Chevalier, a specialist in miniature marquetry.

Made by combining unmatched artistic creativity and surgical precision, the dial incorporates more than 70 elements. The geometrical pattern highlights various colors of different wood: three shades of blue-tinted tulip tree, and grey-tinted willow burl.

This new watch comes with a modern case in polished steel. Measuring 42 mm in diameter and water-resistant to 50 metres, it features a domed sapphire crystal, and the signature fir tree crown.

Each Louis Erard Excellence Marqueterie watch houses an automatic Sellita SW261-1. Driving the hour and minute functions, this movement is visible from the open caseback.

The blue grained calf leather strap features tone-on-tone attachment points, Louis Erard blue lining and a pin buckle.
