The Seagull 1963 Chronograph Moonphase watch is an evolution of the reissued version of the iconic Chinese Air Force Mechanical Chronograph.
In addition to the stopwatch function, this mechanical timepiece features a moon-phase indicator at 6 o’clock and a sub-dial for indicating the date at 12 o’clock.
This stainless steel watch comes with a 40mm case size. It has a characteristic cream dial with four blue hands (hour, minute, 30 minute chronograph and date) and a red centre-hand for chronograph seconds. The date sub-dial also spotlights the iconic red star logo.
The retro-styled sapphire crystal front glass evokes the style of historic model. The Chronograph Moonphase Edition houses the manual-winding Seagull ST1908 mechanical movement. Beating at with a frequency of 21,600 bph, it offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
This 21 jewel column wheel chronograph movement with moonphase and calendar mechanisms can be admired through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back.
Made of 316L Stainless Steel, the case has a thickness of 12.70mm. Its lug to lug length is 46mm and lug/strap width is 20mm.
