In collaboration with French contemporary artist Richard Orlinski, Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot presents two new chronograph models in titanium from its Classic Fusion collection.
Hublot’s collaboration with the award-winning artist began in 2017 with the launch of the limited edition Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski.
The new edition released in 2023 features a titanium case and it is available in two versions: One with the emblematic rubber strap and other featuring a micro-blasted titanium bracelet.
These new watches stand out with the facets created by the signature folds and the iconic angular architecture of the internationally renowned visual artist. With a 41mm case, each timepiece fuses the artistic creativity of Orlinski and the extreme precision of the Hublot HUB1153 self-winding chronograph movement.
In the new collection, the micro-blasted titanium gives the facets a matt finish for an added touch of elegance. With their striking dodecagonal shape – the signature mark of Hublot’s collaboration with Richard Orlinski since 2017 –the bezel transforms into a polygon. These Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski watches have the HUB1153 automatic chronograph movement at their heart.
Since 2015, Richard Orlinski is the most-sold French contemporary artist in the world. He began his artistic career in 2004, and created his first work, a crocodile in bright red resin, which quickly became an iconic piece of the sculptor’s bestiary. In 2021, he was named Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin.
