At Watches & Wonders 2023, SPEAKE MARIN launched RIPPLES Date, a new addition to its sport-chic watch series RIPPLES.

Introduced in 2022, RIPPLES is the brand’s first ever bracelet watch in steel. This automatic watch has a robust steel case with matching steel bracelet, and horizontally waved dial created by SPEAKE-MARIN.

In the same year, the Maison launched the RIPPLES Yellow Gold Special Edition to celebrate the brand’s 20th Anniversary.

Now, the brand presents a new version featuring a date window at 6 o’clock. Narrow and elongated, polished indexes, the window echoes the 12 o’clock hour marker for perfect visual balance. Inside the window, the specially designed numerals imagined by Stéphane Lacroix are also elongated and futuristic. White on a black background, they ensure easy reading of the date.

This new model comes with a 40.30 mm stainless steel “La City” case. It is fitted on a matching integrated bracelet and features a solid gold dial with a solid gold small second counter at 1:30.

The ripples wave finished dial hosts polished indexes, and heart and spade-shaped rhodium plated hands. It is protected, like the back, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Visible through the transparent case-back, is the Calibre SMA03TD automatic movement with fully integrated micro-rotor and hand finishing including Geneva stripes.
