Swiss watch brand Edox has launched a new special edition Delfin Diver Date Lady watch in collaboration with free diving champion Marianna Gillespie.
In 2022, Edox launched the Delfin Diver Date Lady Special Edition with a Caribbean-blue dial. The latest iteration has a deep blue dial.
The new Edox Delfin Diver Date Lady Special Edition is a unique diving wristwatch that fuses rugged engineering and dazzling look. Moreover, its striking design pays tribute to the rich heritage of Edox and Delfin.
First introduced in 1961, the Edox Delfin with its patented double O-ring system and reinforced case set the benchmark for water-resistant watches. The patented double seal meant that even with the crown open the Delfin was water-resistant.
Just like the original model, the new Edox Delfin Special Edition is water-resistant 200m. It has a 38mm diameter case in stainless steel.
This rugged tool watch boasts a distinct feminine appearance thanks to the mesmerizing deep-blue dial with 8 shimmering diamond hour markers. It also hosts gold toned hands with luminescent coating.
The hour-markers at 12, 6 and 9 feature luminescent coating and gold-toned borders. At 3 o’clock, the watch has a date window instead of index. The remaining eight markers are gold-toned and square-shaped, with a genuine diamond set into each one.
A scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial side. The flexible lugs allow to fit smoothly on either small or larger wrists. The watch features a solid stainless steel case-back.
The 12-sided shaped bezel harks back to a distinctive design first introduced by Edox in 1973. In low light, or under the water, the time can be clearly read thanks to the Super-LumiNova-coated hands. The watch houses the Ronda 515 quartz movement with a date display at 3 o’clock.
