Seiko presents four new Presage models to mark the Seiko Watch 110th Anniversary.
These Presage Craftsmanship Series Limited Editions follow the footsteps of the 1913 Laurel-inspired Seiko Presage SPB359J1 watch that was launched early this year to commemorate 110th anniversary of Seiko’s first wristwatch.
Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Series SPB397J1 and SPB399J1 (Seiko Watch 110th Anniversary)
Among the new Seiko Watch 110th Anniversary models, the Presage SPB397J1 (SARW067*) model features a white Arita Porcelain dial and brown leather strap.
The Presage SPB399J1 (SARW069*) comes with a blue Shippo enamel dial and black leather strap. Both of them house the automatic 6R27 movement.
The dial hosts Roman numeral hour markers. Except the 12H marker, all numerals appear in black (SPB397J1) or white (SPB399J1). Similarly, except the seconds hand, all the hands are in black or white color. The 12H marker is in gold tone for both models.
Both references come with a spade-shaped hour-hand, leaf-shaped minute-hand and golden central seconds hand with a crescent-shaped counter-weight. The other dial highlights include the power reserve indicator at 9H and the date sub-dial at 6H.
Both have round-shaped cases in stainless steel, measuring a thickness of 14.1mm and diameter of 40.6mm. The Presage SPB397J1 (SARW067*) is a Seiko global brand core shop exclusive model. It is a world-wide limited edition of 1,500 pieces (including 300 in Japan).
The Presage SPB399J1 (SARW069*) is a Seiko Watch Salon exclusive model. It is limited to 800 pieces worldwide (including 100 in Japan).
Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Series SPB393J1 and SPB395J1 (Seiko Watch 110th Anniversary)
Equipped with the automatic Caliber 6R24, these two references feature retrograde day at 3H, retrograde date at 6H, power reserve indication at 9h and centrally placed hour, minute and seconds hands.
The Seiko Presage SPB393J1 (SARD017*) model comes with a white enamel dial with Roman numeral hour-markers and blued hands. The 12H numeral is in red color and others are in black. This reference comes with a black leather strap.
The reference SPB395J1 (SARD019*) features a copper brown Urushi dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Its hour, minute, day, date and power reserve hands are in white whereas as the central seconds hand is in golden color. The 12H marker is gold-toned and other numerals are in white. This model is provided with a brown leather strap.
They come with stainless steel cases measuring 40.2mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness.
Both SPB393J1 and SPB395J1 are Seiko global brand core shop dedicated models. Each one is limited to 1,500 pieces world-wide. In Japan, these models will be available in limited editions of 300.
All the four Seiko Watch 110th Anniversary models feature sapphire crystal glasses. Fitted with a screw-down, sapphire crystal case-back, each timepiece is water resistant up to 100 meters.
