Rolex Yacht-Master

Introduced in 1992 and designed specifically for navigators and skippers, the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master blends functionality and nautical style. Available in various case sizes, this timepiece stands out with its immediately recognizable design topped with a bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel in precious metal or fitted with Cerachrom insert in ceramic.

In 2019, Rolex launched the Yacht-Master 42 mm series, and during the Watches and Wonders 2023 exhibition its RLX Titanium variant was unveiled.

In this new version with a black dial (reference 226627-0001), the case, rotating bezel and bracelet are made or 42 RLX Titanium (grade 5 titanium).

The bezel comes fitted with a Cerachrom insert in matt black ceramic featuring raised and polished numerals and graduations. The first 15 minutes are graduated minute-by-minute to allow time intervals to be read with great precision. The bezel can also be turned with ease thanks to its knurled edge, which offers excellent grip.

It also boasts a special feature of Rolex watches in RLX titanium: satin finish with a visible grain, which appears on the middle case sides, the edges of the bracelet links and the sides of the clasp cover. The chamfered top edges of the middle case lugs have a high-sheen finish, while the crown guard is polished.

A Superlative Chronometer, the new Yacht-Master 42 RLX Titanium comes with an intense black dial in a fine satin finish and a date window at 3 o’clock.

Beating inside the watch is calibre 3235, an in-house self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of 70 hours. Entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, this movement was released in 2015. Launched in 2019, the 42mm diameter version of Yacht-Master watch utilizes this calibre.
