H. Moser & Cie. presents 40mm versions of its Pioneer Centre Seconds and Pioneer Tourbillon models. Dressed in a stainless steel case with a water-resistance of 12 ATM, these watches respectively feature HMC 200 and HMC 804 movements. Both H Moser Pioneer 40mm timepieces come with imposing “Arctic Blue” fumé dials.
The previously released Pioneer Centre Seconds and Pioneer Tourbillon watches feature 42.8 mm diameter cases. The radiant Arctic Blue fumé dial of the new 40mm versions spotlights the brand logo at 12 o’clock. This signature is set in transparent lacquer for a minimalist look.
In addition to their faceted applique indices topped with Super-LumiNova® dots, these models have leaf-shaped hands which are also filled with Super-LumiNova®.
Inside the Pioneer Tourbillon Arctic Blue beats the HMC 804 automatic Manufacture calibre. Designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG, the HMC 804 flying tourbillon calibre is equipped with a double hairspring.
These perfectly matched hairsprings significantly improve accuracy and isochronism. In addition, the paired hairsprings also reduce the effect of friction normally experienced with a single hairspring, improving isochronism. Finally, thanks to its unique design, the tourbillon is an interchangeable module, assembled and regulated independently of the movement via a simple Plug & Play system which allows for easy servicing.
The Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue houses the HMC 200 automatic movement. Designed, developed and produced in-house, this calibre’s regulating organ was also manufactured in-house.
Decorated with the famous Moser double stripes on the bridges and the main plate, housing a large engraved oscillating weight, this movement offers a minimum power reserve of three days.
The Pioneer Tourbillon and Pioneer Centre Seconds Arctic Blue models can be matched with a rubber, textile or leather strap, or a steel bracelet, making them the perfect accessory for any occasion.
