Winner of multiple design awards, the MeisterSinger Pangaea Day Date is now available in a Black and Yellow edition. This special series is limited to 200 pieces.
The date and weekday rings of the Pangaea Day Date are completely open, giving the dial both structure and depth. The centrally positioned single hand with its red tip calmly rotates around the dial. A small red arrow at 12 o’clock points to the current date and the weekday.
With its unusual way of displaying the day and date, the Pangaea Day Date has already received the Red Dot, the German Design, and the Good Design Awards, making it one of the most frequently awarded models in the history of MeisterSinger.
This year, the brand is offering a special series of the Pangaea Day Date. In this new model, just like the edge of the dial, the day and date rings are designed in bright yellow and contrast with the deep black of the rest of the dial.
Inside the Pangaea Day Date ticks a specially modified Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW220. This mechanism ensures that at precisely the right time, the counter-rotating rings rearrange themselves in a flash to show a new date.
The 40mm diameter stainless steel case is water resistant to 50 meters. Despite its complex mechanical inner workings, the Pangaea Day Date is only 10.5 mm thick.
The sturdy vintage saddle leather strap accentuates the bold look of the this Swiss made automatic wristwatch.
