To be released on April 21st, the new Casio G-SHOCK MRG-BF1000R adopts the asymmetrical form of the diver’s specification FROGMAN.
FROGMAN is a shock-resistant watch with waterproof performance for ISO200m diving. The asymmetrical shape of the watch, with the case shifted slightly to the left in order to avoid hindering the movement of the wrist while diving, has gained popularity and has become one of the most representative models of the G-SHOCK series.
Water-resistant up to 200m, the new MRG-BF1000R is a shock-resistant watch in titanium with the asymmetrical form of the G-SHOCK FROGMAN diver. In order to strengthen impact resistance, this new timepiece features a fluorine rubber shock absorber on the outside of the case to cushion the impact and protect the windshield.
The case back has a screw back with a built-in sapphire crystal, making it waterproof and improving radio wave reception sensitivity.
Functionally, when in dive mode, the hour and minute hands overlap to form a single hand, making it easy to see the elapsed dive time. Equipped with three dual-coil motors, it can quickly switch from current time to dive time display. In addition, by linking with the compatible app “CASIO WATCHES”, you can check activity details such as diving time and location, and easily set tidal data for approximately 3,300 locations around the world.
