Canada based micro watch brand Héron presents Gladiateur, a new automatic timepiece capable of tracking two time zones.
Launched in 2022 with a Kickstarter crowd funding campaign, the Héron Gladiateur MMLXV watch is now available via the brand’s e-commerce website.
This contemporary styled wristwatch for men comes with a 41mm diameter case made of stainless steel. This model is also available in rose-gold PVD and black PVD versions. The case has a thickness of 10.8mm, lug width of 20mm, and lug to lug length of 48mm.
The polished watch case is mounted with a sandblasted bezel featuring Roman numeral hour markers. This bi-directionally rotating bezel can be set for an additional time-zone as per the user’s preference.
The watch is equipped with the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, which displays the hour, minute and centre seconds. This premium ultra-thin mechanical self-winding calibre features 24 jewels, 28,800 bph, stop seconds function, hand-winding capability and 42 hour power reserve.
This stainless steel wristwatch is available in three dial colours: white, blue and black. Additionally the brand is offering black dial variants with rose gold PVD and black PVD cases.
The dial is modern and minimalistic. It hosts eleven rectangular index hour markers and triangular mark for 12 o’ clock. The hands and indexes are provided with Super-Luminova (BGW9) coating that offers a captivating blue glow in the darkness.
Each model is available with a matching metal strap or a rubber strap. Fitted with screwed-down crown, AR coated sapphire crystal front glass and screw-in case-back, the Héron Gladiateur MMLXV watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
The solid metal case-back highlights an engraving of heron and the clasp cover of the bracelet features the heron watch brand symbol.
The retail price of Héron Gladiateur MMLXV watch is $475 for the versions with a rubber strap, and $510 for those with metal bracelet.
