The Ulysse Nardin Blast Collection welcomes Tourbillon Blue & Gold, an explosive and innovative haute horlogerie creation that marks the first ever fusion of rose gold and blue that embodies the independent Manufacture’s DNA.
The Blast Tourbillon is driven by a flying tourbillon skeletonized movement with silicium escapement in a modern two-tone case. Fusing unexpected colours and materials, this avant-garde mechanical timekeeper takes inspiration from the lines of a stealth aircraft.
The UN-172 Manufacture calibre houses an automatic silicium flying tourbillon oscillating at a frequency of 2.5 Hz. It also offers a power reserve of three days while it’s nestled in a unique cage that is X-shaped.
The emblematic design features of the Blast collection are all present in this new timepiece: the rectangular frame, the signature «three lugs» that fit perfectly into the strap, the colored bezel, the verticality of the movement with the barrel, as well as the micro-rotor in platinum at 12 o’clock and the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
Structured with alternating components in rose gold and blue PVD titanium, and featuring both polished and satin-finished surfaces, the powerful 45 mm case is water-resistant to 50 meters.
This new Blast Tourbillon watch comes with a blue velvet rubber strap along with a rose gold and blue PVD titanium folding clasp.
