The new Mido Commander Big Date watch harmoniously blends its radiant steel features with a deep blue dial featuring a sunray satin finish, which is one of the main characteristics of the iconic Commander collection.
The sunray satin-finished deep blue dial of the new Commander Big Date is perfectly paired with the bright polished indexes, flat diamond-cut hands, date aperture and round 42 mm-diameter case in satin-finished stainless steel, complete with polished bezel and satin-finished case edges and lugs.
Mido has added vintage-styled beige Super-LumiNova® coating on the hands and indexes. At night, this phosphorescent material emits a green light. The large date aperture is shown at 6 o’clock. The faceted and domed sapphire crystal glass offers excellent visibility and protection.
This 42mm stainless steel automatic watch comes with a navy blue textile strap featuring a highly original finely woven design, completed with rolled edges and contrasting beige stitching.
The transparent case back reveals the Caliber 80 with an oscillating weight decorated with Geneva stripes. Equipped with a Nivachron™ balance-spring and large date display, this self-winding movement offers up to 80 hours of power reserve.
The Mido Commander Big Date is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m/165 ft).
