The Springfield 555 by Vortic Watch Company features a dial with large and bold black numerals and a matching subdial that look especially striking against its cream-colored background.
It boasts blued steel heavy moon watch hands. The Bronzed Titanium case comes with a similarly-colored copper crown. The CNC milled case measures 46mm diameter, 12mm thickness and 55mm lug to lug. The lug/strap width is 22mm.
The front crystal is Gorilla Glass and the case-back is made of stainless steel. The Springfield 555 watch is water resistant up to 10 meters.
This unique mechanical watch from the Vortic American Artisan Series was initially released by the Illinois Watch Company.
Through the transparent case-back, you can admire a 405-grade open-face movement with a Going barrel and a center bridge plate featuring a breathtaking engraving that reads “The Autocrat.” Also visible is the watch’s 17 luxurious jewels that energize the movement’s bronze-plated gears.
The antique pocket watch movement was originally produced in 1918. Painstakingly restored by Vortic, this hand-wound calibre provides a power reserve of approximately 36 hours.
The hand-crafted Black leather watch strap complements the gorgeous color palette of the Springfield 555 watch.
