Swiss luxury watch brand Maurice Lacroix presents a new AIKON Master Grand Date watch model with a Black DLC case.
Introduced in 2021 by Saignelégier-based Swiss watch brand, the Maurice Lacroix AIKON Master Grand Date unites the mechanical virtuosity of the Masterpiece collection with the AIKON’s urban design language. Released this year, the AIKON Master Grand Date Black stylishly juxtaposes black and white tones.
The AIKON Master Grand Date Black is presented in a 45mm diameter black DLC stainless steel case. The vertically brushed black DLC dial plate reinforces the stealthy nature of the watch. The hours and minutes are shown on an off-centre dial enriched with Clous de Paris, while an open-worked small seconds display is positioned adjacent. The white tone on the hands, indexes and numerals counterbalances the all-black theme.
The Maurice Lacroix AIKON Master Grand Date watch houses the self-winding ML331 Manufacture calibre. Located at 10 o’clock, a window with two date discs deliver a highly legible large-format date indication. The movement balance is visible through a large opening on the dial.
Like other members of the AIKON collection, the case eschews conventional lugs and integrates the strap within the housing. This ensures impressive wearer comfort. The sapphire crystal case-back offers the view of the automatic mechanical movement.
Maurice Lacroix has chosen to equip the model with a new style of rubber strap that features the brand’s name presented in relief as well as a second strap made from synthetic leather with textile effect, incorporating the brand logo.
Endowed with the Maison’s Easy Strap Exchange system, it is easy to switch from one strap to another without the need for tools.
