Swiss luxury watch brand BYRNE has launched a sport version of its innovative GyroDial watch.
Unveiled during the Geneva Watch Days 2022, the Byrne GyroDial is a sensational wristwatch that changes its face every day, depending on the mood, thanks to 4 indexes that appear each time different, on the dial.
The new GyroDial Sport version was unveiled during the WatchPro show in London, held on 11th and 12th November this year.
Available in black and blue dial versions, this new variant features a grade 5 titanium case and “Sports Jersey” style cardinal markers enhanced with SuperLuminova. Just like its predecessor, the Byrne GyroDial Sport features interchangeable indexes at the four cardinal points of its dial. As they change, they change the spirit of the dial by their size, revealing in turn the spirit of a new kind of watch.
Manufactured entirely in Switzerland, the case has a diameter of 41.7mm and 14.8mm thickness. The case middle is satin-finished whilst the upper part of the case, between the case middle and the bezel, is entirely polished.
It houses Caliber 5555, entirely designed, developed and manufactured in Switzerland for the GyroDial Sport. This 30 mm movement is self-winding and offers 60 hours of power reserve.
Made in collaboration with Le Temps Manufacture in Fleurier, Caliber 5555 incorporates the signature animation mechanism comprising four rotating blocks. At midnight, or at whim, they rotate instantaneously to present a different face.
The bezel, slim and clean-cut, effectively counterbalances the impression of thickness. The ergonomic design of the watch ensures perfect comfort, its soft curves following those of the wrist. The GyroDial Sport is completed by a winding button symbolically engraved with the number 1, the highest step of the podium.
Hand-crafted by the specialised workshop of Jean Rousseau and entirely to Byrne’s specifications, the strap of GyroDial Sport is either saddle-stitched rubber or alligator, the latter with large scales.
