Introduced in 1976, the Mido Baroncelli collection draws inspiration from the Rennes Opera House. Now, the Swiss watch brand has added the Baroncelli Lady Necklace model to this series. It is available in three case versions: stainless steel, rose-gold PVD coated stainless steel, and dual-tone.
This luxurious and elegant ladies’ watch boasts a ring of 83 diamonds framing its gentle mother-of-pearl face, while 10 rubies highlight the date. Vibrantly echoing the gems on the dial and the fiery red of the leather strap, a scarlet-coloured cabochon sits on top of the crown.
Standing out with radiance and refinement is an art form in which the new Baroncelli Lady Necklace excels. A ribbon of diamonds highlights its mother-of-pearl face in delicate shades. Around its edge, a subtly sandblasted finish enhances the silvered dial.
A ruby-studded pendant encircles the aperture displaying the day at 6 o’clock. Exuding incredible charm, the Baroncelli Lady Necklace is illuminated with several rose gold-coloured touches on the hour, minute and seconds hands, the indexes, the gems’ metal setting, and the 33 mm case.
Each of these elements – faceted, diamond-cut or polished – adds to the sparkle of the whole. This luxurious look is enhanced by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
The Baroncelli Lady Necklace inaugurates a series of four watches, each featuring a crown with a synthetic stone that echoes the shades of the timepiece.
Recalling the red tones of the rubies, a scarlet-coloured synthetic ornamental cabochon brightens its flank. The crocodile-look leather strap also stands out with its garnet colour.
The Mido Baroncelli Lady Necklace watch is powered by the reliable Calibre 80, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
The sapphire case back reveals this finely decorated movement, with 25 jewels, and an oscillating weight adorned with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo.
The watch is water-resistant up to 5 bar (50 m/150 ft).
