For this year’s Halloween, Louis Erard presents a spooky edition of its Excellence Petite Seconde model made in collaboration with Romaric André, the founder of seconde/seconde/.
In 2021, the Swiss watchmaker released a limited edition regulator watch in partnership with seconde/seconde/, a Paris based horological firm known for its disruptive designs. The new Louis “Horror” watch marks the second collaboration between the two brands.
Dressed in a 316 L steel case with 39mm diameter, this new limited edition Excellence Petite Seconde model features silver opaline dial with circular satin-finished zone, snailed counter at 6 o’clock with diamond-cut zone, signature fir-tree hands, glossy anthracite indexes.
In this new watch, instead of a traditional hand, a pixelated ectoplasm indicates the running second on the sub-dial at 6H. Instead of brand name, the dial features the text Louis Horror, with a touch of blood red color.
Beating inside this ghostly interpretation of the Louis Erard Excellence Petite Seconde watch is the Sellita SW261-1 automatic calibre. This movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case-back.
The Louis Erard La Petite Seconde Louis Horror x seconde/seconde/ watch is produced in a limited edition of 178 pieces.
