Swiss watch brand Formex has unveiled the new Essence 39mm Automatic Chronometer with an enchanting Malachite dial.
The swirling patterns and marbling of the Malachite make each watch a very unique piece. Applied indices, deep-filled with Super-LumiNova® BGW9 and mirror-polished bevels provide legibility day and night.
This Formex Essence 39mm watch is equipped with the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 self-winding calibre with an extended power reserve of 41 hours. It is a highest quality grade “Chronometer” movement with a Glucydur balance wheel which is exceptionally hard and stable, non-magnetic, and non-corrosive. The movement is fully decorated, has thermally blued screws and is wound by Formex’s custom-built skeletonized rotor.
Each one of these movements is certified by the COSC (the official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) and undergoes the meticulous 15-day rate test to ensure extraordinary levels of mechanical accuracy and precision.
The leather and rubber straps can be changed without the use of any tools and the extremely comfortable and articulated stainless-steel bracelet can be mounted on the watch in seconds.
The bracelet features screwed links, a new 1.5x link and a unique micro-extension system to match the comfort of the leather strap.
For ensuring optimum wrist comfort, Formex added their patented Carbon Fiber Composite Folding Clasp with its fine-adjustment system, allowing on the go strap adjustment for a perfect fit in all conditions and temperatures.
The Essence 39mm Malachite Automatic Chronometer is available at the Formex Online Boutique and at selected partners on a stainless-steel bracelet, four leather straps or a black rubber strap.
Prices start at $1,650.00, with shipping, taxes and duties included for most countries. The first 50 pieces are available from stock now, while production is limited to 100 pieces per year.
