French watchmaking house YEMA presents Flygraf Navigator, a modern avatar of its iconic Flygraf pilot watch.
Designed for all professionals or amateurs of the aviation world, the Flygraf Navigator recreates the classic features of its original model dating from the 70s. Equipped with the with the Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement, it features a dial and a bezel with blue reflections.
Inside this pilot chronograph beats the Swiss calibre ETA Valjoux 7750. Equipped with 25 rubies, ball bearings rotor and oscillating at 28 800 A/h, this self-winding movement offers a 48-hour power reserve.
This Tricompax Aviation Chronograph features small seconds function at 9 o’clock, chronograph function with 30 minutes counter at noon and 12 hours counter at 6 o’clock associated with the central second.
An Aluminium insert with inverted triangle affixed on the dial. This design feature already existed on the original model of the 1970s. The slightly oversized hands and indexes are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova® to ensure increased readability.
The dial also features the indication of the day of the week in English/ French and the date at 3am. The 40mm stainless steel case is equipped with a pushed crown with logo YEMA logo embossed and a bi-directional two tone aluminium bezel with a tachymeter bezel with calculation rules coupled with logarithmic scales.
The 1.80 mm thick sapphire crystal offers better readability, increased scratch resistance and a resolutely vintage look. Fitted with a solid stainless steel case-back, the YEMA Flygraf Navigator watch has a water resistance of 100 meters.
Three strap choices are available: stainless steel, perforated leather and Rubber FKM Viton. The retail price range of the YEMA Flygraf Navigator watch is from $1849 to $1990, depending upon the strap.
