World Traveler is a bespoke timepiece created by Artisans de Genève for a private customer.
In this project, Artisans de Genève personalized the customer’s Rolex® GMT Master II reference 116710 watch. The client requested to bring contrast to his timepiece, a combination of transparency and warm tones highlighted by the skeleton movement.
The essential detail of the Artisans de Genève World Traveler project was to display several time zones and inscribe the cities the customers has visited throughout his career on his timepiece. This bespoke creation in stainless steel spotlights a rose gold and blue color theme.
The watch offers GMT function with three time zones. Entirely made from a ceramic block, the midnight blue bezel bears the names of cities dear to the client.
Each element reflects the client’s world and life. The 3186 caliber is entirely skeletonised. A transparent sapphire allows the owner to admire each detail of its movement, which boasts various handcrafted finishes like polishing, bevelling and sandblasting.
