Manila based watch brand Makina has announced the release of a new Gabriel_I watch model with a salmon-colored sector dial.
This elegant dress watch features a 40mm diameter stainless steel case offers a modern interpretation of the sector dials of by the bygone era. To reduce the clutter, the two tone dial does not feature any numerals. The hour, minute and small seconds hands are finished in blue tone to enhance the visibility and overall appearance.
Mounted with a domed sapphire crystal glass with five layer AR coating, the watch offers a crystal clear view of the dial. Made of brass, the diamond-cut hands are enhanced with blue-plating. The seconds sub-dial stands out with its circular guilloche decoration and clean layout without any markers.
The sector dial has many circles, starting from the silver small seconds counter with a black border to the salmon-colored outer dial-ring with minute markers. The brand has cautiously used black, blue, silver and salmon colors to highlight the various dial details while ensuring the legibility and overall harmony.
The distinctive shaped case boasts a harmonious combination of polished and brushed surfaces. The new Makina Gabriel_I watch is powered by the Swiss Made Sellita SW 260-1 calibre.
Visible through the blue tinted exhibition case back, this automatic movement provides a power reserve of 38 hours to this time only wristwatch. Water resistant to 100 meters, this model is paired with a navy blue, genuine crocodile strap.
The new salmon dial Makina Gabriel_I is presently available for pre-order. Its estimated price is US $725. Delivery planned in October 2022. For more details please visit the Makina watches website.
