Pforzheim, Germany based brand Circula launches ProTrail, a new field watch with soft iron cage and scratch resistant watch case.
The Circula ProTrail Automatic is a unique and robust field watch, combining modern as well as classic elements. With a robust case and highly legible dial, it has the capability to survive the harsh conditions during the military operations.
The ProTrail watch is anti-magnetic up to 80,000 A/m thanks to a soft iron cage and truly scratch-resistant to 1,300 Vickers. This is achieved by a technology called Kolsterising®, which is applied by a specialist close to Frankfurt, Germany. In the process, carbon is diffused into the case surface, giving it a very effective scratch protection.
The modern case design with its diverse gradations underlines the robust character of the Circula ProTrail Automatic watch. The 40mm diameter stainless steel case is water resistant to 150 meters. The Sapphire glass ensures a scratch-free view on the dial equipped with Swiss Super LumiNova®.
The Circula ProTrail Automatic watch in stainless steel is available with black or sand-colored dials. The dial is designed for pure functionality to ensure perfect readability. Inspired by the iconic military/field watches, it has an inner ring with the numbers 13 to 24 on the recessed inner circle with the emblematic circular pattern.
The brand is also offering a special variant featuring a black DLC-coated steel case and black dial without the 13 to 24 numbering. Named Old Radium LE, this model is limited to 99 pieces.
The Circula ProTrail field watch is equipped with the Swiss made Sellita SW-200-1 Elaboré grade self-winding movement.
The pre-order phase has now started and offers the opportunity to purchase the new ProTrail for EUR/USD629,-(excl. VAT, 749,- incl. VAT) in the brand’s online shop by September 30th, including a sailcloth strap as well as free worldwide shipping. From October it will cost EUR/USD40,- more. Delivery will start early November 2022.
