This motorsports inspired limited edition watch was created in partnership with Lamborghini, the super car manufacturer from Italy. Limited to 88 pieces, the new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Huracan MB houses an automatic twin-barrel movement built like an engine of a racing car.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Huracan Monobalancier (MB) features white Mineral Composite Fiber case and bezel. Fitted with a titanium open case back with sapphire crystal, the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. It has a diameter of 45mm.
Exclusively developed in-house, Mineral Composite Fibre (MCF) is a high-tech material made of silica via a Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) process.
The design of this new timepiece is inspired by the Huracán GT3 EVO2, including the honeycomb motif made famous by the supercar, with its hexagonal dashboard paralleled in the shape of the calibre.
Inspired by the automotive world, the self-winding RD630 movement was developed specifically for the partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The calibre with a twin barrel power supply offers a power reserve of 60 hours.
The calibre structure is designed like a super-car engine with strut-bars forming a clear and visible visual signature. The rotor is designed like a super car wheel rim.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Huracan MB limited edition model comes with a rubber and perforated calf leather Interchangeable strap with quick release system.
