TAG Heuer presents a limited edition Carrera chronograph with a red dial. With a fiery red look, this new watch is inspired by the aesthetic of the historic Heuer Carrera model released in 1963.
The silhouette of the original Heuer Carrera reference 2447 is retained including the signature lugs and pushers. The new watch has a 39mm diameter stainless steel case case with polished finish. Water resistance to 100 meters, this new chronograph is fitted with domed sapphire crystal glass and screw-down steel case-back with sapphire crystal.
The indexes and hours and minutes hands are faceted, rhodium-plated and coated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal readability.
The dial is sunray brushed while the three chronograph counters – hours, minutes and permanent second indicator – are snailed, ensuring a subtle contrast and mesmerizing play of light. The dial sports the emblematic Heuer logo and Carrera name below the 12 o’clock hour-marker.
The new Tag Heuer Carrera Red Dial is equipped with in-house high-precision chronograph calibre Heuer 02. It has an exceptional power reserve of 80 hours. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, this movement is personalized with touches of red on the column wheel and oscillating mass engravings.
Fitted on a black alligator strap with a steel folding clasp, the TAG Heuer Carrera Red Dial Limited Edition is limited to 600 pieces. Each timepiece will be engraved with “ONE OF 600” and “Limited Edition” on the case back.
Available from July 2022, the Carrera Red Dial Chronograph will be sold exclusively in TAG Heuer boutiques, through the brand’s e-commerce websites and at select wholesale partner boutiques.
